A Note to Our Readers:

The Iraq Study Group, headed by former Secretary of State James Baker and former Democratic Congressman Lee Hamilton, is due to release the report of its findings to the public next Wednesday, Dec. 6th. All indicators point to the need for urgent prayer over the possible recommendations of this report.

In that spirit, we are printing below a commentary on this development, written by Bill Wilson, author of The Daily Jot. We ask each of you to carefully and prayerfully read Bill's report, and to intercede accordingly.

It is written: "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." (Prov. 14:12)

Thank you.

America May Bargain Israel Support For Terrorist's Help In Iraq

The winds of change are blowing hard across the capital city of Washington, D.C. as politicians and their advisors mull over what may well be the most significant decision with prophetic implications of this century: the turning away of America from its unqualified support of Israel in exchange for Islamic help to solve the unrest in Iraq and Lebanon. President George W. Bush has assembled a team of policymakers and diplomats that have proven track records of their weak support of Israel to recommend and initiate policy changes, beginning with a summit this week in Jordan with Iraq’s Prime Minister Nouri al- Maliki and others regarding both Iraq and the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.

There have been many leaks reported from the bi- partisan Iraq Study Group led by former Secretary of State under the first president Bush, James Baker, and former Democratic Congressman Lee Hamilton, both members of the globalist Council on Foreign Relations. Neither of these leaders is particularly friendly to Israel. Their panel is expected to make wide-sweeping recommendations that include enlisting the help of the very state sponsors of terrorism that are funding and arming the efforts against both the United States and Israel. Already Iran has said that it will do whatever it can to help its brothers in Iraq achieve social stability. And meantime, Iran is arming Hezbollah and Hamas in Lebanon and Gaza.

And the picture of Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad shaking hands with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani before their recent meeting in Iran is worth more than a thousand words. Iran says the oppressor, the United States, must leave Iraq for stability to occur. Ahmadinejad also has made recent statements that both Israel and the United States will meet their demise. Yet the globalists in the Bush Administration and on the Iraq Study Group will likely recommend a troop withdrawal and Middle East peace talks with Iran and Syria. And for enlisting Iran and Syria’s help, insiders believe the Bush Administration will give the international community free reign to squeeze Israel for massive concessions to the Hamas-led Palestinians.

Given the current geo-political configuration in the Middle East, American firepower is the only reason Islam has not tried to overrun Israel. The United States negotiating with Iran and Syria and withdrawing troops from Iraq will be viewed as a great victory by Islam and it will embolden the Russian- and Chinese-supported Islamofascists to attack Israel. In the ancient prophecy written in Zechariah 12:8-9 the Lord says “In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. . . And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the wisdom of leadership.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
