Youth Call to Prayer and Purity

Representing FRC, Tony Perkins has joined two dozen leaders from national ministries who serve Christian young people and are deeply concerned about the direction of our nation and youth culture. These ministers recognize that we must work together to reach America's youth.

On the National Day of Prayer we issued a call to Christian young people to forsake sexual sin and to pray for our nation, especially their own generation (experts say sexual activity among professing Christian youth is only slightly lower than among non-Christians). We are calling young people to observe the first Friday of every month as a day of fasting and prayer for our nation and for the youth of America.

· Join us in praying for America's youth. May God pour out His spirit upon our young people, enabling them to forsake our increasingly hedonistic and godless culture and to pursue holiness, prayer and obedience that will lead their generation of Americans to turn to Jesus!

· Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (I Corinthians 6:18)
