The Senate overwhelmingly approved $3 billion for added border security that includes a 700-mile fence on the Mexico border, as Democrats lost another bid to force a U.S. pullout from Iraq.

· Father we continue to ask that any socialist agendas of our legislators be thwarted. We thank you for the current SCHIP programs, and ask that You guard our nation from changes that would be harmful both to the economy and to the poor children they are supposed to help.

Cybercast News Service went to Capitol Hill Wednesday to ask elected officials, "Do you support spending $23 billion more in discretionary spending than President Bush requested?"

· Father we pray against the war of words in Congress, and bind the hatred that is creating unwise legislative actions. We take authority over out of control spending agendas and ask Your intervention to change the hearts of our law makers.

· But if instead of showing love among yourselves you are always biting and devouring one another, watch out! Beware of destroying one another. (Galatians 5:15 NLT)

· Lord, we pray that You will prevent our nation from being controlled by treaties with dangerous agendas. We ask that You either defeat this treaty or revamp it to protect the US from undue international influence.

Homosexual Indoctrination of 3rd Graders

Evesham Township, New Jersey, is divided over a film called That's a Family! which was being shown to third-graders in their school. Clearly produced to indoctrinate, the movie celebrates diverse "families." One child in the film declares that having "two dads [is] really cool." The film promotes homes headed by same-sex couples (NJ became the third state to bless same-sex civil unions in December). When parents objected, a screening was arranged, and Evesham parents are now divided over what is appropriate. The school board removed the video. This issue goes beyond Evesham, and will be repeated across this nation. Homosexual activists have threatened the school with a lawsuit, saying state antidiscrimination laws were violated. To them ending "discrimination" means mandatory homosexual indoctrination for all children.

· Pray that the American people, especially the Church, will rise to firmly stand against the radical homosexual agenda; that community leaders will arise, who are courageous, and fearless to stand for what is morally right. May God give special grace for this to happen in Evesham Township and across America!
