· "LORD, Your hand is lifted up to take action, but they do not see it. They will see Your zeal for Your people, and they will be put to shame. The fire for Your adversaries will consume them! LORD, You will establish peace for us, for You have also done all our work for us. " (Isaiah 26:11-12)

According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who are being protected by God's power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time." Life: How do YOU vote?

Voting the Word of God or with the Words of Man

I have a question for you. This is a question that cuts to your heart. Where do you stand on life? Those of us who believe in the Bible and in the God of the Bible believe that God created life as it says in Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." And the very next verse says, "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply . . ." God told Noah and his sons in Genesis 9:7, "And you, be ye fruitful and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein." In Deuteronomy 30:19 the Lord says, "I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both you and thy seed may live."

There is no doubt whatsoever from what is written in the Bible that life begins at conception and that God is a God of life. So where do you stand on life? Do you stand for life or death? It's that simple. Do you align with God's word or another's? For example, Democratic Presidential Candidate B. Hussein Obama, who says he is a follower of God, says that he favors abortion. On March 29th, he said, "Look, I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."

When asked at what point does a baby get human rights, Obama replied on August 16th, that "answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade." But as an Illinois state senator in 2001 speaking in favor of protecting abortion, Obama said, "Whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the Equal Protection Clause or other elements in the Constitution, what we're really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a -- a child, a 9-month old child that was delivered to term . . . that determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place."

Another candidate, Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin has a different view. She said upon the birth of her Downs Syndrome son in April, "We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place." Palin said she was proud that her unwed daughter decided to have her baby. But what of you? What is your stance on life? Is your position on life in alignment with God's or in alignment with some candidate? And will your vote align with the word of God or the words of man?
