February 1, 2011- ALERT: PRAY FOR EGYPT

Isaiah 19:2: "I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians: And they will each fight against his brother, and each against his neighbor; city against city and kingdom against kingdom. That the spirit of the Egyptians will be demoralized within them; and I will confound their strategy."

"In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. And it will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion and He will deliver them. Thus the Lord will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day. (Isaiah 19:19-21)

Alert: Pray for Egypt

We remain on watch with you tonight, watching and praying for the safety of the people of Egypt in the midst of their revolution. This nation of 80 million souls is the largest in the Middle East. Surely, our Father's heart is now turned unto these men and women, in His love.

All of the prayer points below have been forwarded to us anonymously by a friend of our ministry. She has given us permission to release this excellent prayer guide to all of you.

As Egypt prepares for its Million Man March today, let us all keep careful watch together over the events that will unfold in Cairo and beyond. God is in control.

One Million Called to March Today in Cairo

Shalom fellow intercessors,

We need to fast and pray concerning the latest developments of violence and unrest in Egypt. At this point Mubarak has dismissed his cabinet and has appointed a Vice President from out of the security community. The army continues to stand with him, which is why he is managing to hold onto the leadership of the nation. The leaders of the insurrection have now issued a call for 1 million protestors to take to the streets in Egypt tomorrow. We need to be locking down in intercession concerning this development.

While the Muslim Brotherhood is a key player in this insurrection, due to its long time animosity with Mubarak, it is staying very quiet; preferring to let the undesignated protestors be in the lenses of the media. The Brotherhood members (of which here are millions) have been spreading their Islamic dogma throughout the masses, while stirring up hatred; inspiring the overthrow of Mubarak for many years.

Certainly, Mubarak is an easy target in that he has a very oppressive police force, and has perpetrated much corruption throughout his leadership. Additionally, the widespread level of poverty in the nation is striking in contrast to the great wealth, which is held in the hands of a few privileged people.

The Muslim Brotherhood may not have started this uprising (secular students seem to have taken that lead), but the uprising is playing right into the hands of the Brotherhood. They hope to finish this event; emerging as the new order in Egypt. Known for its many social service projects (much like the Free Masons), the Brotherhood offers the people hope for security, order, and prosperity in the midst of all this chaos. If Mubarak does step down, watch for the Muslim Brotherhood rush in to fill the vacuum of power.

--Pray for the Lord to bring justice and mercy into this crisis.

--Pray that tomorrow's massive protests will not explode into bloodshed.

--Pray that the Lord would determine the next leader for Egypt; according to His perfect plan.

"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16)

Prisons Are Breached

Several prisons near Cairo were breeched by mobs; releasing approximately 20,000 inmates, some of which are murderers, thieves, and violent terrorists. Violent mob have been moving through the Cairo neighborhoods terrorizing the citizens; robbing, vandalizing and threatening the people A limited number of these inmates have been recaptured. It was reported this morning that some imprisoned Hamas terrorists were freed in that prison breech, and have now made their way back into Gaza; creating an increased threat in Israel. There is no way to know how many Islamic terrorists, from Hamas and from other groups, have come through the Gaza tunnels to find sanctuary in the PA territory.

--Pray that the Lord would protect the innocent ones from these criminals, as they are terrorizing the neighborhoods.

--Pray that the children and the elderly would be shielded from the visible and invisible horrors that are manifesting on the streets.

--Pray for the food and water supplies to be maintained for the innocent victims of this uprising. In that the people are often totally confined to their homes for safety, pray that the Lord would replenish the vital supplies of the believers supernaturally.

--Pray that the escaped prisoners soon would be recaptured -- before those, who are convicted murderers, end up killing again.

--Pray that the Lord would put up a roadblock; preventing the escaped Palestinian terrorists from re-entering Israel and Gaza. Pray that He would also hold back all other terrorists, who are making a run for the tunnels to support Hamas against Israel.

" For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."
(Psalm 91:11)

Problems in the Sinai

Additionally, the insurrection has moved into the Sinai, where there is an al-Qaida training camp. Hamas operates in agreement with the Muslim Brotherhood -- both being powerful Islamic fundamentalist groups, which purposes to spread Islamic sharia law throughout the world. The goal of the Brotherhood is the goal of both al-Qaida and Hamas. The weapons that al-Qaida has stashed in the Sinai camp could now be more easily distributed to the operatives of the Islamic Brotherhood, to Hamas, and to other terrorist groups. Some of these weapons could easily make their way into Gaza, while the smuggling tunnels are found freely available during all the unrest.

--Pray that the smuggling tunnels would be crushed by the Lord, so that weapons and terrorist personnel would not come flowing through them into Gaza and onward.

--Pray that the Israeli government and military would be divinely wise in dealing with this threat.

--Pray that any weapons being placed into the hands of Israel-hating terrorists would deteriorate; being rendered useless by the angels of the Lord, before they can harm or kill.

--Pray for supernatural abilities to fill the intelligence gatherers and watchmen of Israel, so that they can see and thwart all incoming terror threats.

"Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known." (Matthew 10:26)

U.S. Government Response

In the midst of the chaos, the US government and other international authorities are foolishly suggesting that Mubarak should step down, to allow democratic reforms and the voice of the people to come forth. It is a HUGE error to think that these protests are about the Egyptians demanding democracy.

The main organization, supporting the insurrection now, is the powerful Muslim Brotherhood, which has been the father of many other terror organizations, and the author of many terror strategies and operations. For years Mubarak has been trying to contain the influence of the Brotherhood (making it illegal), while the organization has continued to grow in influence like a cancer. A recent poll in Egypt revealed that 70% of that population desire to see sharia (severe Islamic law) come forth to govern the nation. There is NO element of democracy that can possibly exist with sharia law. In reality, democracy is greatly hated by sharia proponents, as something that must be extinguished from the face of the earth (because it gets in the way of total Islamic rule). Likely, the un-informed masses in Egypt are hearing about the wonderful benefits that would come to them from living under sharia, without understanding what that system of rule and law really entails.

With the Brotherhood coming across as the source of comforting benefits to the nation, the people are blindly agreeing to their order of doing business. The people are ignorant of the sharia realities, while crying out for any kind of change from the inequities and poverty currently included in the Mubarak regime. The CHANGE that the Muslim Brotherhood will bring is not democracy, but rather the removal of all Western influences in Egypt. (NOTE: Two years ago American citizens discovered the danger of blindly voting for un-delineated change, simply because of discontent with the present leadership.) Clearly, the Muslim Brotherhood has as its goals the death of Israel and the West, and also the establishment of an Islamic caliphate everywhere.

For the US government to even suggest that this uprising is about democracy is outrageous. The initial protestors . . . secular students in Egypt . . may in fact be calling for that kind of change, but they have no organization, no leader, and no hope of that happening in Egypt. Additionally WikiLeaks has revealed that the Obama administration has been busy for quite some time . . . stirring up and supporting unrest in Egypt to destabilize Mubarak . . . trying to initiate a regime change of this American ally. (NOTE: Obama has been doing that same meddling in Israel as well; stirring up the left and the media against Bibi, while lauding Livni as a better leader.) The combination of the US administration refusing to stand with one of her major allies, while at the same time being shown to be working to promote the collapse that government, is horrible. What will our other allies think about us? Their trust of America just went out the window. Undoubtedly, the disgrace of, and the level of hatred against, the USA just increased greatly around the world.

--Pray for those who are blindly enacting these protests as a way to achieve democracy will stop and take note at where these protests are now leading Egypt (far away from democracy).

--Pray that the foolish politicians and leaders in the West will stop perpetrating the lie that the goal of the uprising is democracy.

--Pray for wise and educated voices of authority to stand up and speak the truth, about this event and where it is headed.

--Pray that the Lord would forgive America for the deceitful undermining of an ally nation, done by Obama. (Keep in mind that Egypt currently has a peace treaty in effect with Israel. Removing Mubarak might bring an end of this peace)

--Pray that the Muslim Brotherhood will not become the ruling power in Egypt.

--Pray that the Lord would strike down sharia law before it takes root in Egypt.

--Pray that the Lord would protect American citizens from the terrible consequences that might come as a result of this treachery and betrayal perpetrated by the US leadership.

--America had been shown to be profoundly weak, unreliable, and compromised in these last two Obama years -- but now more than ever. Pray that the Lord would protect the people of America in this nation's high state of vulnerability.

"For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil." (I Peter 3:12)

Egypt's Arms Build-up

Very troubling is the reality that the USA has given Egypt 1.5 billion dollars in military aid, which includes very high tech weaponry. The Egyptian Air Force (due to the bank-rolling of/supply from of the USA) is probably equal to Israel's Air Force now. These American weapons WILL be used against Israel, if the fundamentalist Moslems take over the Egyptian government. It is the goal of Islam to destroy Israel sooner rather than later.

The US administration has been suggesting that Mohamed El Baradei would be a good choice to lead Egypt. That man is a friend of the Muslim Brotherhood (possible member??), and would likely open the door for Islamic fundamentalism and violent anti-Israel policies to abound. El Baradei hates Israel, and took a strong anti-Israel stance, when he held the leadership role in a major international atomic oversight organization. In his evaluation, Israel must be totally disarmed of nuclear weapons, because she alone is the great threat in the region. He turned a blind eye to Islamic violations of international atomic rules. He is not a man we would like to see in charge of Egypt.

--Pray urgently that NONE of the USA supplies weapons to Egypt would be used to kill Israelis.

--In that the Egyptian army is far greater in size than Israel's forces, pray that the Lord would be the strength and power in the IDF and IAF, whenever hostilities break out.

--Pray that El Baradei will not be given the power to lead Egypt.

--Pray that Israel would never be disarmed, by the international community, in any form.

--Pray that the Lord would give Israel many new witty inventions in weapons, strategies, and equipment, that the Israelis would keep SECRET until they are used.

"And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." (I John 5:15)

Pray for Coptic Christians

As we pray into this crisis, we also need to keep the Coptic Christians in mind. A few weeks ago, Moslem terrorists bombed a Coptic church; killing and maiming many. Right now the Copts are keeping a very low profile and remaining silent in the face of the uprising. If the Muslim Brotherhood comes to power, there could be many martyred Coptic Christians very quickly.

--Pray that the Lord would protect the Coptic Christians throughout Egypt.

--Pray that they would be kept safely hidden from those who want to kill them.

--Pray that they would serve as God's voice of truth and faith and witness to the gospel, when the Lord calls them to arise and make themselves heard.

--Pray for revival and harvest in the midst of the conflict, and in the time of rebuilding and reordering the nation.

I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." (Psalm 91:2)

Oil Prices Increase

A side effect of this conflict involves the international economy as it relates to Middle East oil. Oil prices could seriously skyrocket as the result of this uprising, if the Suez Canal is affected. Gasoline prices went up 7 cents a gallon on Friday alone, because of a $4 per barrel increase in the price of crude oil that day. Some economists suggest that we could be facing unprecedented oil prices, if this conflict moves into a full-fledged Islamic revolution in the region.

--Pray that the Lord would keep His hand upon the Suez Canal.

--Pray that the goal of the Islamic world to bankrupt the economies of the West, would not come about through the opportunistic manipulation of oil prices during this crisis. An unreasonable cost of petroleum could bring death to many, who need fuel oil to heat their homes this winter.

--Pray that the Lord would continue to meet the material needs of His Body during these times of great crisis and upheaval.

--Pray that all of us would be prepared for whatever may be coming to our nations in these days.

14 For thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth.'" 15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke by Elijah. (I Kings 17:14-16)

Uprisings Spreading

On that note of the possibility of uprisings spreading throughout the region: Jordan has been experiencing some protests, and Syria is tightening down control to avoid going the way of Egypt. Around the world, protestors are gathering in various nations, calling for the end of Mubarak. The only hope for Egypt is a visitation by the God of Israel, or a profound movement of His hand to bring for a new revelation of truth. That is the only hope for all the nations, as well as for Israel. Let's pray for that reality to appear on the earth.

--Pray that there will be no worldwide Islamic revolution arising from this current chaos.

--Pray that the Lord would keep all the Middle Eastern nations in His hand, so that satan will not have His way with Israel.

--Pray that Abdullah of Jordan would see the fragility of his rule, and turn to Israel's God for direction.

--If all this is the prelude to a Mid East war, pray that Israel would be totally protected and under the leadership of her God.

--Pray that the Lord would bring revelation and give visitations to all truth seekers in the region; so that they might come to know and fear Him; laying aside Islam for the truth.

"So shall He sprinkle many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, And what they had not heard they shall consider." (Isaiah 52:15)

In Closing

. . .As this crisis continues to unfold, or as it is resolved, keep in mind that OUR GOD REIGNS. None of this is a surprise to Him, and none of it is out of His control.

God bless and keep you,

1. Egyptian President Mubarak to Step Down in September - AP

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak says he will not run for a new term in office in September elections and will work during the rest of his term for a "peaceful transfer of power" in a new attempt to defuse massive protests demanding his immediate ouster. This comes as more than a quarter-million people flooded Cairo's main square in a stunning and jubilant array of young and old, urban poor and middle class professionals, mounting by far the largest protest yet in a week of unrelenting demands for Mubarak to leave after nearly 30 years in power.

They sang nationalist songs, danced, beat drums and chanted the anti-Mubarak slogan "Leave! Leave! Leave!" as military helicopters buzzed overhead. Organizers said the aim was to intensify marches to get the president out of power by Friday, and similar demonstrations erupted in at least five other cities around Egypt.

- Pray without ceasing as God's will begins to unfold in the nation of Egypt. Continue to petition heaven, that only the leader of God's own choosing will become Egypt's next president. Pray that one who is a strong ally of Israel comes forward; and continue to cancel any plans of the Muslim Brotherhood or other Islamic extremists to seize thsi office.

- "Pray without ceasing." ( I Thess. 5:17)

2. Egyptians Stock Up on Food, Water as Protests Rage - AP

Now, like many other residents of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, they're stocking up on bottled water and essential foodstuffs as chaos engulfs this sprawling city of some 18 million. The police, which before the revolt could be seen on nearly every corner, melted away Friday, giving way to looting and arson. Gangs of thugs have cleared out supermarkets, shopping malls and stores, as well as luxury homes and apartments in affluent residential areas in the suburbs. On Monday, police were beginning to redeploy in many neighborhoods.

But in the meantime, young men stepped in to fill the vacuum left by the police, setting up neighborhood defense committees armed with guns, clubs and knives to protect their families and property. Groups of youths also directed traffic in parts of Cairo, chasing away the gangs of criminals smashing passing cars.

• Lord, wherever there is insecurity and no food, people grow desperate. We pray for these countries to have sufficient supplies, and the rioting to cease.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. (Psalms 91:5-6)

3. Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood: A Force to be Feared? - CNN

The scenes in Egypt have been dramatic, as thousands turn out onto the streets demanding that President Hosni Mubarak resign after 30 years in power. "You don't just have a government and a movement for democracy," former British Prime Minister Tony Blair cautioned on Monday. "You also have others, notably the Muslim Brotherhood, who would take this in a different direction. We need to be anxious to meet the aspirations of the people, but do it in a way that produces something better."

Former Israeli diplomat Eli Avidar argues that elections put the militant Islamist Hamas movement in power in Gaza. "President (George W.) Bush and (Secretary of State) Condi Rice pressured the State of Israel to allow democratic elections in the Palestinian Authority and what happened was that Hamas took over and these were the first and last democratic elections," he said. The Muslim Brotherhood could do the same thing in Egypt, he fears.

• Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders on how to deal with the unrest in all the Middle Eastern countries. We pray for these spiritual fires to be put out through your Spirit, and that no evil leaders will take over the countries that are in unrest. Restrain the strife quickly. Let nations stand strong with Israel.

Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. (Psalms 46:8, 9)

4. Jordan's King Dismisses Cabinet After Protests - AP

Jordan's King Abdullah II, bowing to public pressure, fired his government on Tuesday and tasked a new prime minister with quickly boosting economic opportunities and giving Jordanians a greater say in politics. The country's powerful Muslim opposition, which had demanded the dismissal of Prime Minister Samir Rifai in several nationwide protests inspired by those in Tunisia and Egypt, said the changes didn't go far enough.

Rifai, 45, who has been widely blamed for a rise in fuel and food prices and slow-moving political reforms, tendered his resignation early Tuesday to the king, who accepted it immediately, a Royal Palace statement said. Abdullah named Marouf al-Bakhit, 63, as Rifai's replacement. Al-Bakhit, an ex-general who supports strong ties with the U.S. and Jordan's peace treaty with Israel, previously served as prime minister from 2005-2007.

- Pray for a smooth transition for the new prime minister as he assumes his responsibilities tonight for the people of Jordan. News commenatators are now saying that, if Mubarak had made a similar move perhaps two months ago, the revolution in Egypt might have been prevented. Jordan is a key neighbor to Israel, and her peace will continue to help ensure the peace of Jerusalem. Pray!

- "But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another." (Psalm 75:7)

5. Special Prayer Request - CHPP

In addition to the prayer points we cited in this morning's Special Alert to pray for Egypt, we have received on other prayer point from one of our prayer partners: "Please also remember the nearly 1,000 US military personnel and others in the Multi-national Force and Observes stationed in the Sinai. I was the chaplain of that group (with the 101st in 1984-84) and the MFO is still there as part of the Camp David Accords. The MFO as been a buffer to Israel's southern border for these decades and has very good relations with the IDF."

- Yes, Father God, in the continued turmoil inside Egypt, we agree with our brother's prayer request for the safety of our troops now stationed in the Sinai. Thank You, Lord, that we can turn to You, our own Commander-in-Chief, knowing that you do hear and will answer our prayer. In Your Name, amen.

- "The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." (Psalm 34:7)

6. Judge Strikes Down Healthcare Reform Law - Reuters

U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson ruled that the reform law's so-called individual mandate went too far in requiring that Americans start buying health insurance in 2014 or pay a penalty. The Obama administration said it would appeal Vinson's ruling and believed it would prevail. A White House official told reporters the administration planned to continue with implementation of the law.

"We'll continue to operate as we have previously and suspect that the states will do the same," said the senior administration official, who asked not to be named. "Obviously this case will be appealed . . . and so implementation would proceed apace . . . This is not the last word by any means," the official said. But the fact that the judge did not issue a stay of his ruling pending appeal by the government could threaten the application of many of the provisions of the healthcare law.

• Lord, we praise you for this ruling. Despite how the people have voted in the past, this current government is not representative of the people. We pray they will be bound from working against the people's wishes.

"You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. (Deuteronomy 16:19)

7. Boehner: U.S. Will Not Default on Debt, But Congress Will Slash Spending - The Hill

The United States will not default on its obligations, but must reduce spending at the same time it raises its debt limit, House Speaker John Boehner said. "If the president is going to ask us to increase the debt limit, then he's going to have to be willing to cut up the credit cards," he said. "I think our team has been listening to the American people. They want to us reduce spending, and there is no limit to the amount of spending we're willing to cut." In order for the debt ceiling to rise, Congress must approve taking on more debt, which currently is growing by more than $4 billion per day.

Meanwhile, Obama is expected to release his fiscal year 2012 budget proposal on Feb. 14, the same week Republicans plan to bring up for a House vote a budget proposal for the rest of the current fiscal year. Boehner said the House Appropriations Committee will target reductions at big-ticket items like eliminating remaining stimulus spending, ending the bank bailout, getting the federal government out of mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and repealing the health insurance law signed by Obama last year.

• Lord, we pray for your spirit to come upon House Speaker Boehner and all the conservative leaders. We pray they stand strong, and not yield to pressure to accept anything that would put us into more debt. Let them reverse all inadequate laws quickly with no opposition.

"Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go." (Joshua 1:7)

8. Recent Decisions Amount to a Dressing Down for 9th Circuit - Washington Post

As the most liberal circuit in the land, its work quite often is at odds with an increasingly conservative Supreme Court. In five straight cases, the Supreme Court has rejected the work of the San Francisco-based court without a single affirmative vote from a justice. The nation's largest court, stretching from Montana to Hawaii, the 9th has jurisdiction over nearly 20 percent of the nation's citizens. Not surprisingly, it routinely supplies the largest portion of the cases the court reviews each term.

Hellman said the reversals reflect "primarily a difference that fits into the liberal-conservative dichotomy" between the circuit and the high court. It dates to the court's expansion in the late 1970s, when President Jimmy Carter was able to name about three-quarters of the court's judges. "That really set the pattern that continues today," Hellman added.

• Lord, we are grateful that you are answering our prayers to change our courts, so they are no longer liberal, and not making laws from the bench. We pray you will continue to replace the liberal judges and justices in our land with god-fearing people who will honor you and your laws.

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, and that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name. Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily. Do not forget the voice of Your enemies. (Psalms 74:18, 23)

9. Gay Activist Conference in Minn. has Faith Focus - Fox News

On Wednesday, Garcia and several hundred other gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender activists who work within multiple faith communities will gather in Minneapolis as part of the much larger National Gay and Lesbian Task Force's annual conference. Garcia will lead a Latino working group, one of several such groups aimed at a greater diversity in gay religious activism - an arena that convention co-organizer the Rev. Rebecca Voelkel said "has been largely defined by white folks."

Earnest Simpkins, a black gay activist who grew up in a Pentecostal congregation, said he realized his homosexuality from an early age but had been taught in church that such feelings were sinful and needed to be denied. In recent years, Simpkins - who recently moved from Minnesota to Massachusetts for a job at a center for gay youth - said he has found it difficult to get fellow gay activists to address issues of faith. Sue Hyde, the convention's lead organizer, said the group decided to deal more directly with faith issues to counter religious activists on the other side of issues including efforts to legalize gay marriage.

• Lord, we pray for all these people who are living in strong rebellion against you. We pray they will have a Damascus experience with Jesus, and that they will be the most fervent, faithful, and obedient witnesses for the Lord. Let them repent, and reverse their agenda so that no youths will go into that rebellious lifestyle.

Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads." (Acts 9:4-5)

10. Powerful Winter Storm Threatens 100 Million in U.S. - AP

A monster winter storm took aim at a third of the nation Monday, threatening to lay a potentially deadly path of heavy snow and ice from the Rockies to New England, followed by a wave of bitter, bone-rattling cold that could affect tens of millions of people. Bitterly cold temperatures were forecast in the wake of the storm, with wind chills as cold as 40 degrees below zero possible in parts of North Dakota, South Dakota and other areas.

"I wouldn't want to be on the road in open areas tomorrow night," said forecaster Tom Skilling of Chicago television station WGN. "I don't think I'd want to be driving in the city either. The fact is people die in these things. They skid off the road and go wandering around in whiteout conditions."

• Lord, we pray that you will quell the storms and wind. We pray for the safety of the poor, the sick, the homeless, and animals during this time. We pray that no deaths will occur. We also pray a Hedge of Protection around our nation against all bad weather. Protect especially all those who must be out in this weather.

Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in times of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. (Psalms 41:1-2)

11. Forecasters: Cyclone poses 'serious threat to life' in Queensland - CNN

A huge tropical cyclone taking aim at Australia's Queensland state has strengthened to a Category 5 -- the highest designation on Australia's cyclone classification system -- and its landfall is "likely to be more life threatening than any experienced during recent generations," forecasters said. Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi has winds gusting up to 295 kph (183 mph) and is expected to maintain that intensity until making landfall in northeastern Queensland late Wednesday evening local time, the Australian Bureau of Meteorology said.

- While we are in prayer for the safety of our own people in the path of our winter storms, please also lift up a prayer tonight for the safety of these dear people in Australia. With these record-breaking weather systems now surfacing around the world, clearly we are now in the end times . . . Ask the LORD to intervene and to cause the velocity of the winds in this storm to decrease. Amen.

- "And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." ( Mark 4:39)

The Daily Jot - Part One

Egyptian revolution has deep prophetic implications

The man who stalled the world for nearly a decade from taking action against Iran's nuclear program, former United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mahmoud El Baradei is leading the riots to overthrow the government of Egypt. He is supported by the banned terrorist group Muslim Brotherhood, who has instigated much of the unrest and is willing to work with El Baradei in forming a new government. Additionally, El Baradei is receiving political support from Iran where its state media is characterizing the uprising as a populist movement against Egypt's alliance with the United States and its peace with Israel. Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei said last year that he wants an Islamic government in Egypt.

El Baradei's true colors are being masked by the news media, which is portraying him and others supporting the Egyptian unrest as a move toward the utopian goal of "democracy' in the Middle East. This unrest, however, could well be part of a centralized plan schemed by terrorists in Iran--one that has supported the fall of Lebanon into the hands of Hizbollah, the Tunisian unrest, the shift in Turkey toward stronger Islamist government, the unrest in Pakistan, and the hard line in the latest democracy of the Middle East--Iraq, where its Islamist Constitution is allowing the crackdown on Christians. The world may well be witnessing a wide-sweeping Islamic revolution that will change the face of the earth for the end times.

Egypt is the subject of much of the Lord's interaction with the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and even Daniel. There are 558 verses in the Bible mentioning Egypt. Many of them discuss the plight of the Israelites coming out of Egyptian slavery. And there are dire warnings to those Israelites that seek to return to Egypt. Daniel Chapter 11 speaks of the four kings of Persia--modern day Iran--and one of them, the King of the North after much struggle shall overcome the King of the South. From these battles will arise a powerful king as Daniel 11:37 says, "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all."

Irrespective of who the theologians of this day identify as this king, the kings of the north and the south will come against him "at the time of the end." Verse 42 says, "He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape." The unrest in Egypt at the same time as that in Lebanon, Tunisia, Pakistan, Yeman, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Jordan has end time implications. The King of Persia, which today is the Ayatollah in Iran, is making a move. The prophetic change that appears to be occurring is that the world's harshest enemy of Israel, which is Islam, is rising up and even the United States, Israel's ally, is supporting this movement, which is far deeper than the 1979 Iranian revolution...To Be Continued...

The Daily Jot - Part Two

The Shroud of Democracy in Egypt and grand Jihad in America

The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization that patiently awaits opportunities to establish Islam in all nations of the world. It is backed by the radical Ayatollahs in Iran. It is the Muslim Brotherhood that has lied in wait in Egypt for years for the right timing and opportunity to take over. It should be no surprise that the man responsible for keeping the world from stopping Iran's nuclear program, Mohamed El Baradei, has returned to Egypt to work with the Muslim Brotherhood in overthrowing the government there. Under El Baradei's watch Pakistan, India, North Korea, Iran and others have set up nuclear programs that share an abundance of information between them with the help of China and Russia.

The glue that is holding these terrorists together is centrally located in Iran. Former Pennsylvania Republican Congressman Curt Weldon documents in his book "Countdown to Terror" a "Committee of Nine" which is an elite coordinating committee of terrorist organizations such as al Qaeda, Hizbollah, Islamic Jihad and others who partner with the Muslim Brotherhood in sponsoring terrorism worldwide. The committee is headed by Iran's Ayatollah Khameni, according to Weldon's sources. From Persia, we can see that terrorism and Islam is taking opportunities to evangelize the rest of the world by colonization, by terrorism, and by political means.

The Muslim Brotherhood, for example, was revealed in the Holy Land Foundation trial in 2007. Documents provided as evidence in the trial indicated a plan to take over North America by the Muslim Brotherhood. The plan, written in 1991, calls for Islamists to colonize America with Islamic Centers, schools, elected officials and court cases. It seeks to establish a "Civilization-Jihadist Process." It outlines how "work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house..." The plan is using "moderate" Muslim groups to establish a beachhead in the US and then radical elements taking over.

As did President Jimmy Carter in 1979, the current [occupier of the White House] is supporting the revolution in Egypt under the guise of promoting "democracy." In reality, America has a president with Islamic roots, and like El Baradei, no matter what the words are, the actions will determine reality. [Obama] has sided with radical Islam in Egypt. Meantime, the Muslim Brotherhood, the same group that worked silently for years in radicalizing Egypt, is doing the same in America, and many of its minions hold positions in the current Administration. The Islamic movement is built on deception. 2 Timothy 3:16 warns us, "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

ObamaCare's Collapse

ObamaCare's Collapse: Your Support of FRC Brings Results!

If the Left wants to accuse FRC of toppling the health care law, this is one instance when we're happy to take the blame. After Judge Roger Vinson made history by voiding one of the most expensive bills in U.S. history, groups like ThinkProgress were irate that he leaned on our brief (the only one to argue on severability) in drawing some of his most important conclusions. By late afternoon, headlines like this one--"Judge Roger Vinson 'Borrows Heavily' from Family Research Council to Invalidate Health Law"--started cropping up on liberal blogs everywhere. ThinkProgress writes that Vinson acknowledged "in Footnote 27 (on pg. 65) [that] he arrived at this conclusion by 'borrow[ing] heavily from one of the amicus briefs filed in the case for it quite cogent ly and effectively sets forth the applicable standard and governing analysis of severability (doc. 123).' That brief was filed by the Family Research Council..."

In it, FRC's Special Counsel Ken Klukowski made the argument that if the "individual mandate" is unconstitutional, then the entire law must be struck down. Judge Vinson agreed. "Regardless of how laudable its attempts may have been to accomplishing [its] goals in passing the act," Vinson wrote, "Congress must operate within the bounds established by the Constitution. Again, this case is not about whether the act is wise or unwise legislation. It is about the constitutional role of federal government."

Meanwhile, the White House is doing its best to seem indifferent about what would appear to most of us as a colossal failure of this administration. Yesterday, Deputy Senior Advisor Stephanie Cutter waved away questions about Vinson's decision as if the court were in the habit of overturning $2.5 trillion entitlements opposed by 26 states. Cutter said she expected a different result on appeal and "dismissed" the decision as "overreaching." (Funny, it never seems to be an "overreach" when the rulings are in their favor.) Say what it will, this White House faces an enormous uphill battle when the majority of U.S. voters, states, House members, and every Senate Republican is lining up against the law. The Good News Corner

Australians Believe Prayers Have Caused Floodwaters to Recede

(Melbourne, Australia) - CBN reports that a group of Christian intercessors recently gathered on the steps of the Victorian Parliament building in Melbourne and asked God to protect their nation from further flood devastation.

Said Pastor Danny Nalliah, who led the group: "We fell on our knees and we cried out to the Lord and we said 'Lord, please forgive us and heal the land."

As a result of prayer, Nalliah says floodwaters in parts of Australia have started to recede.
"In Queensland, instead of it increasing, the water started receding," he said. "It was the collective prayers of the Body of Christ that brought the results to the nation."

[Note from CHPP: we posted this report last weekend, in preparation for today's Brief. Tonight, Queensland is faced with another cyclone of horrific force. Please note our prayer request, above, and pray for the protection of these good people from the next storm. Amen.]
