Egypt: Prophetic Type and Shadow for America?

Protests in Egypt and the Middle East are ostensibly originating from pro-democracy groups. But this is much the same report that was given when the uprising in Iran occurred in 1978. It is in this deception that those in American leadership who promote global democracy hang their altruistic hope of establishing a peaceful world order. But organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, al Qaeda, Hizbollah and others prey on these situations and take advantage of passionate idealism to gain totalitarian power. With all the information available at their fingertips, American leadership should be able to discern this dire situation and see the similarities that could put Americans in harms way on our own soil.

There has been a lack of discernment for nearly a decade as Egyptian-born Islamist Mohamed El Baradei deceptively assisted Iran and others in gaining nuclear technology while he was presiding over the United Nations effort to limit nuclear proliferation. Additionally, there seems to be a lapse of good judgment by the White House in assisting the Muslim Brotherhood with its goals in Egypt. Will our leadership be so accommodating when the Muslim Brotherhood brings violence to our streets? This is the result of following leaders both nationally and within the church that lack Biblical truth and Holy Spirit guidance. Their discernment and judgment are weighed in the balance and "are found wanting."

Upon delivering the Israelites from Egypt, the Lord gave Moses advice on choosing leadership. Exodus 18:21 says, "Moreover thou shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness: and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens." Americans have been conditioned for the past two generations that there must be separation of church and state. We have turned our back as a nation on this founding principle of good government. How can we then expect our leaders to have Holy Spirit discernment when we have chosen those who know neither God nor the Holy Scriptures?

Romans 10:14 says, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" The Lord showed Ezekiel the abominations and idolatry as the elders and priests turned their backs on Him inside the temple and He said in 8:17, "for they have filled the land with violence." Indeed, the strange fire of man-made doctrines falsely taught by the church in its self indulgence has caused this condition. And if we, who know the truth, do not stand in this very day and time, our land will also be filled with violence as the Muslim Brotherhood and others lie in wait as they did in Egypt. We must send sound men of God into leadership, but first we must teach them rightly and then demand of them righteousness.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

EGYPT: Prayer Update

The Muslim Brotherhood You've heard a lot about The Muslim Brotherhood lately, but just who are they and what are their plans..specifically for America? Tonight, learn about a document that lays out the Brotherhood's proposed plans for North America, including expanding the Muslim base and presenting a "civilization alternative", as well as the support for a global Islamic state. It details a plan to conquer and Islamize the United States- not as an ultimate objective, but as a stepping stone toward the larger goal of creating a global Islamic state. Plus, why caliphates are scary. What is a caliphate?

Prayer Update

Call for Immediate Prayer

Hour of Danger

Dear Christian friends of Israel:

Greetings to all of our Christian friends across the nation and around the world.

As Jerusalemites for more than 25 years and having experienced several intifadas, the Gulf War and the Lebanon War, we are sending forth this Prayer Update. We are asking for your help in mobilizing Christian prayer partners for Israel in light of the urgent situation the Jewish nation faces presently. We kindly ask that you forward this Prayer Update as far and wide as you are able to in your communities and globally to marshal prayer for the entire Middle East and especially for the Nation of Israel.

A "shaking of the nations" is taking place. Now more than ever, wisdom and understanding of the times is imperative lest we be found sleeping at our posts. With a revolution taking place at this very time in Egypt against President Hosni Mubarak, a planned revolt in Jordan this coming weekend, the fall of Tunisia and Lebanon, tomorrow could be Saudi Arabia.

Needless to say, Israel has four borders, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. Turkey has backed away from any cooperation with Israel. An insurgency is planned in Jordan this coming weekend by Islamic militants and it is speculated that Iran has sent a fleet of warships into the Red Sea and through the Suez Canal taking up positions around Israel's western shores (The Golden Report, 29/1/2011). With Iran and Iraq also playing with explosive fuses, whose hand will strike the match?

Yesterday's Jerusalem Post headlines read: "Muslim Brotherhood: Prepare Egyptians for War Against Israel", (Jerusalem Post, 02/01/2011, Yaakov Lappin). A huge outbreak of war could quickly descend upon the borders of the Promised Land of the Chosen People. If we are serious about our love for Israel and our love for all of mankind, we should not rest until God sees the seriousness of our commitment and concern for the "apple of His eye" (Zechariah 12:8).

-- Thank God that He will be the "hope of His People" and the strength of the children of Israel during times of war. May they turn to Him with full face. (Joel 3:16).

-- Plead with God to continue to save many from the Arab nations and that they would turn to the One True God and His Messiah before it is too late.

-- Weep for those who wish to remove the Jewish people from their own borders which God has given to them to inherit.

-- Beseech the Lord to remove far from Israel's borders those who want her demise. May God drive the spirit of hatred far from her borders.

-- Pray that all prayer warriors and ministers of the Lord will weep and say, "Spare your people O Lord, and give not your heritage to the heathen that they might rule over them and then the heathen say, "Where is your God now?". (Joel 2:17)

-- Praise God that He is not a man that He can lie and that His Covenant is everlasting with the Jewish people (as we want it to be for those of us who belong to Israel through the Messiah Yeshua).

Finally, stay at your posts, God is going to judge the nations that come against His Land and People and at the same time will cleanse many in the Land from unrighteousness. May the Church awaken to fulfill her calling: to be true Watchman on the Wall when she sees danger approaching. In God's wrath, remember to pray for mercy and do not stop praying until the all clear signal is given by God.

More About the Muslim Brotherhood

In a private meeting two years ago with men who were former members of a key agency in the city, we were advised to be watching for news of the Muslim Brotherhood.

At that time, this was not a name we recognized . . . al Qaeda, Hamas, Hizbollah, yes
. . . but the "Muslim Brotherhood?" What was this?

We were told that this "brotherhood" had been operating very quietly, behind closed doors, at the global level for many decades. They were carefully putting their men into positions of influence in governmental authority in many nations, but had been very "stealth" in doing so. [We were also advised that the Muslim Brotherhood was the Arab/Islamic version of the Freemasons . . . advancing their agenda through governmental authority.]

And what was their agenda?

To bring all nations under the rule of Islam and Shariah law, thereby re-establishing the "caliphate" of global domination for Islam.

Well . . . what was shared with us in secret can now be shouted from the housetops. Watching the news out of Egypt, the one good thing in all of this is that the hidden has been revealed, and the whole world now knows that there is, indeed, a "Muslim Brotherhood" -- with an agenda.

So, now that the hidden has been revealed, we ask you to join us in praying that ALL who are involved in this wicked agenda be exposed and brought down -- particularly in our own government. Join us, too, in praying for the souls of these men, for it was "for such as these" that our Savior shed His blood.

It is written: "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Senate "Health Care" Repeal Vote Today!

The vote on the floor of the Senate to repeal the "Health Care" bill is likely to be held later this afternoon or early evening (Eastern time, of course). There are some important dynamics that you should be aware of:

1) PRAY for the Lord to move on the hearts and minds of primarily the Democrats to stand with the people of this nation and repeal this evil and unconstitutional legislation. Most if not all Republicans will vote to repeal, but Democrats still hold the majority. However, over 20 Democratic Senators are up for re-election in 2012, and some have already voiced a willingness to consider repeal for the sake of politics if nothing else. Pray for Senators Ben Nelson and Joe Manchin in particular!

2) Although this is still an uphill battle, pray in faith believing that we receive, on behalf of this nation, this repeal in the Senate!

3) Pray and speak blessings on all the Senators today involved in this process! We disagree vehemently with the "Health Care" bill, and it should be repealed. We don't agree with or bless the evil enacted, but we DO bless these men and women created in the image of God, whether born again or not, that the fullness of the purposes and potentiality of God's will be done in and through their lives.

4) Speak to the "mountain" of this "Health Care" bill, and tell it to be removed!

5) Speak blessings and shout "grace" to the Senate today (and to the entire Congress everyday!).

The two significant votes on the bill today are amendments to the FAA Authorization bill:

-- Republican Senator McConnell's amendment to the bill repealing the "Health Care" bill

-- Democratic Senator Stabenow's amendment to repeal the "1099" requirement in the "Health Care" bill

Everyone in both parties generally agree that the "1099" provision of the "Health Care" bill is a horrible, traumatic, expensive, and useless burden to businesses (and ministries!).

The Freedom and Restoration of Broken Walls

"In a lot of the villages and communities that I go to, the name of Jesus is just scorned because people came in and tried to force the Native people to be like whatever religious affiliation they were from. They held Jesus back from them until they converted their culture, rather than allowing the gift of God and Jesus Christ to be used within the culture. It's so important to realize that it's not about converting the culture, but it's about allowing them to be who God created them to be, and carrying the message of Jesus into that."

The following are excerpts from an interview with Jonathan Maracle, founder of the First Nations worship band Broken Walls. The full article can be read in an upcoming issue of Worship Musician magazine. Broken Walls also partners with Carry the Cure, a faith-based suicide prevention ministry in Alaska. To find out more about it, log onto: CarrytheCure.org.

Jonathan, how did Broken Walls come about?

I was asked to sing at a Sacred Assembly in Ottawa, Canada, in my Native language. They wanted me to sing Amazing Grace in Mohawk. While I was there, I heard John Sandford speak on the heart of bitterness that resides in the indigenous people of the world because of the treatment they'd received from the colonial countries and marauders, and how it affected them down through the generations. That's when God started to unload on me this message of "breaking walls-breaking down the walls of bitterness." God gave me a song, "Broken Walls," and I had a vision to go to the Native people around the world.

Recently we've taken on the heading for the band: Broken Walls is contemporary Native American music for the well being of the people. We're not distancing ourselves from the Gospel, but we're trying not to sound as "preachy" so we can more effectively reach the world. I'm the kind of person who wants to go into the hedges and the byways to the people who really need to hear what we have to say. . .

Have you found, as you've played in some of the more mainline churches that indigenous instruments are becoming more widely accepted, and even used in worship?

Oh definitely, they are. Back in 1985 or '86, I was basically put out of a church because they said my music was "not of God." They told me the drums were evil, and the way I was presenting was not of God. I said, "But, people are getting saved!" The big fight has always been that the Church and religion has looked at items as either evil or not, and prescribing that either a guitar is Christian or is not Christian. But, before I was a Christian, I played my guitar and I played for the devil-no question-I didn't play for the right reasons. But, when I became a Christian, I did not burn my guitar-I played it and wrote songs about Jesus. I sang songs about His love for me and people got saved. I believe the guitar had nothing to do with it. I believe the instrument is subject to the heart of the musician.
