1. VANDALS UPROOT PLAQUES FOR NAZI VICTIMS IN GERMANY

Right-wing extremists uprooted eleven memorial plaques commemorating local victims of Nazism in the German city of Greifswald on Friday, the 74th anniversary of Kristallnacht, German daily Die Welt reported. The Jews of Greifswald were among those targeted throughout Germany on Kristallnacht - the night of broken glass, on November 9, 1938. Synagogues and businesses were destroyed, and Jews throughout the country were murdered and arrested en masse. The memorial plaques which were uprooted by apparent Neo-Nazis in Greifswald on Friday had been placed at the site of the homes of Kristallnacht victims.

Die Welt quoted local police official Knut Abramowski as referring to the vandalism as a "vile crime." Abramowski offered a 2500 Euro reward for anyone with information that would help lead to the capture of those behind the vandalism. "I condemn this malicious attack in the strongest terms," Die Welt quoted Abramowski as saying.

Norbert Nieszery, the chairman of Germany's Social Democratic Party (SPD), said of the vandalism that "it is particularly shameful when something like this happens precisely on the anniversary of Kristallnacht," according to Die Welt. The monuments uprooted by the vandals were part of the Stolpersteine (stumbling blocks), created by artist Gunter Demnig, which commemorate victims of the Nazis in several cities throughout Germany and surrounding countries.

- O Heavenly Father, there seems to be an endless spirit of hatred which dwells within the hearts of so many people in the world. We stand before You to repent for this anti Semitism. We in Jesus' Name bind and rebuke this spirit of anti Semitism which continues to manifest itself through violence, murder and destruction as it bubbles up from the souls of these people full of this hatred. We acknowledge how much the world needs You in our lives to heal and reconstruct our spirits so that we may follow Your ancient pathways. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

- 'Behold, I am against you, O most 'haughty one'! , ' says the Lord God of hosts; 'For your day has come, the time that I will punish you'.(Jeremiah 50:31)

2. IRON DOME BATTERY UPGRADED

The Iron Dome rocket defense system has undergone an upgrade that will soon bolster its presence on the ground, Ynet learned Sunday [November 4]. The fifth Iron Dome battery, which will be deployed soon, features upgraded response time and interception range, both of which successfully graduated tests that took place last week. The battery will become operational within several weeks. Since Iron Dome first became operational in April 2011, the system has intercepted over 100 Grad and Qassam rockets, fired by Gaza terrorists at Israel's South. "This is another outstanding achievement by all those involved in the system's upgrade," Defense Minister Ehud Barak said.

"The defense establishment invests huge amounts in Israel's multilayered missile defenses, which is supposed to provide protection for all of Israel in the next few years." Iron Dome's seventh and eighth batteries will be funded mostly by US-aid funds in 2013. Some [US] $70 million have already been appropriated to the project and an additional, similar, sum is due next year.

Air Force officials have said in the past that about 13 Iron Dome batteries could offer Israel optimal coverage against short-range rocket fire. The defense establishment is also pursuing the development of the "David's Sling" missile defense system, also known as "Magic Wand." "David's Sling" is meant to counter mid-range missiles and armed drones, and is likely to become operational by 2016. Israel's aerial defenses include the Iron Dome and Patriot systems, as well as the Hetz 2, which counters long-range missiles. The Hetz 3 system is currently under development.

- Pray that God will be the "dome" over His people and the Land as they are threatened by their enemies. Thank Him for the technology that continues to improve Israel's defense of its airspace.

- "He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day." (Psalm 90:4-5)

3. ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCES JEEP HIT BY SYRIAN GUNFIRE

An Israel Defense Forces [IDF] patrol vehicle sustained some damage due to Syrian gunfire Monday [November 5]. No injuries were reported. The jeep was hit during a routine Golani [Israeli infantry brigade] patrol of the border. According to available details, the incident took place at 8:30 pm.The IDF filed an official grievance with UNFIL [United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon]. It is believed that the fire was discharged as part of clashes between Syrian security forces and rebels. The IDF stressed that it is highly unlikely that the Israeli military vehicle was the target.

Moments after the gunfire incident was reported, opposition sources in Quneitra, near the Syrian border, reported that two people were killed in the village of Beer Ajam when they were trying to extract civilians under siege by Assad's forces. The opposition source stressed that the clash took place within the demilitarized buffer zone between the two countries.

The incident followed a similar one that took place on Saturday, when three Syrian tanks, in pursuit of rebel forces, entered the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights, near the Israel-Syria border. The IDF filed an official complaint with UNIFIL, as well as raised the level of alert in the sector. IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz toured the Golan Heights on Sunday, following the incident. Gantz, who was accompanied by senior GOC [general officer commanding] Northern Command officers, was reportedly able to look across the border and see the clashes between Syrian troops and rebel forces. The past several months have seen several incidents of Syria mortar fire - fired as part of the bloody uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad - landing either near the border or in the Golan Heights. - Thank God that no Israelis have been hurt by the violence in Syria. Pray for their continued safety and that IDF soldiers will be alert and aware as they patrol this northern border. Pray that the fighting in Syria will not spill over into Israel.

- "Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes; for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught." ( Proverbs 3:25-26)

4. 3 SOLDIERS INJURED IN BLAST ON GAZA BORDER

Three Israel Defense Forces [IDF] soldiers were injured Tuesday [November 6] morning in an explosion which took place near the border fence in the southern Gaza Strip. One of the troops was lightly to moderately hurt and is said to be suffering from a limb injury. He was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The two other soldiers sustained light wounds and received medical treatment on site. An IDF force fired back at suspicious targets.

The incident took place near Kibbutz Nirim in southern Israel. Palestinian sources reported of a strong blast caused by an explosive device east of the town of Khan Younis. Heavy exchanges of fire were reported in the area.

- Praise God that the injuries were not life-threatening. Pray for the young men and women who serve in the IDF as they provide security for the nation of Israel. Praise God that He is the One who keeps His people.

- "He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121:3-4)

5. GAZA ROCKETS EXPLODE IN ESHKOL REGION

Two Kassam rockets fired by Gaza-based terrorists exploded in open areas in the Eshkol Regional Council on Friday afternoon. The rockets did not cause any physical injuries or damage. The rockets were fired despite an Egyptian-brokered "ceasefire" that was supposed to have gone effect in late October, after Gaza-based terrorists fired more than 80 rockets at southern Israel within a period of 24 hours. Similar "ceasefires" have been announced by Hamas rulers after previous rounds of escalation, but the Gaza-based terrorist groups always take advantage of these "ceasefires" to periodically send a reminder to Israelis that they have the ability to fire rockets.

In another incident on Thursday evening, a smuggling tunnel exploded in southern Gaza as a group of IDF soldiers were in the middle of an operation to uncover it. One of the soldiers was very lightly wounded in the incident and damage was caused to an empty military vehicle that was standing nearby.

Residents of the Eshkol Regional Council on Thursday held a rally at the Sharona Park in Tel Aviv, across from the IDF's Kirya central military base. The residents told the government during the rally, "We are not willing to accept this kind of life. Even one Kassam rocket is one too many. The government of Israel must bring quiet to the area."

Read article:
- O Heavenly Father, it appears that 'ceasefire' agreements do not mean much to these Gaza Strip terrorists. They continue to fire rockets into Israel with no hesitation. We understand why Israeli residents ask for these attacks to cease, and we fall before You for Your mercy and intervention on behalf of these Israeli people. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

- Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

6. 4 SOLDIERS WOUNDED BY MISSILE, ONE VERY SERIOUSLY

Gaza terrorists hit an IDF jeep with an anti-tank missile early Saturday evening. The IDF Spokesman announced that four soldiers were hurt but gave no specific details regarding their degree of injury. IDF Radio said that on soldier was very seriously wounded and another soldier was "moderately" wounded. There are reports the second soldier is suffering mostly from injuries to his arms and legs. Two other soldiers were in light to moderate condition. The jeep reportedly caught fire. It had been driving along the border between Gaza and Israel, opposite the Zeitoun neighborhood in central Gaza, east of Gaza City. Voice of Israel public radio said the jeep belonged to the Givati Brigade.

According to an Arab report, the IDF responded with heavy tank fire at the eastern part of Gaza and at an area east of Khan Younis. There were also reports of artillery fire and fire from helicopters. "Two Palestinians were killed and 22 others wounded, six of them seriously," said spokesman Yahya Khader of the Hamas government's emergency services in Gaza, who was quoted by AFP. Voice of Israel radio said the unofficial death toll in Gaza was five.

Residents of Eshkol regional authority have been instructed to remain 15 seconds' run away from a shelter. On Thursday, a huge tunnel packed with hundreds of kilograms of explosives blew up near an IDF force. One soldier was lightly wounded. The tunnel reached into Israeli territory. Voice of Israel said that Islamic Jihad is believed to be behind the missile attack. Defense Minister Ehud Barak said following the fighting: "The IDF has given a stern response to the event and additional responses will be evaluated in the next few days. We will not look the other way following the escalation along the security fence."

Read article:

- Lord God, we plea mercy for Your people! We ask for Your healing balm to fall over the wounded, both human and the land itself. Direct the Israeli leaders to hear clearly Your thoughts and plans as to this escalating set of attacks and counter attacks. Keep all of Israel abiding under Your wings, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, for You will answer me.
(Psalm 86:7)

7. PALESTINIAN MISSILES AGAIN RAIN DOWN ON ISRAEL AFTER INJURING 4 ISRAELI SOLDIERS

Violence spewed out of the Gaza Strip again Saturday night, Nov. 10, with a rocket attack on an IDF Givaty Brigade jeep on a routine task some distance from the border, injuring four Israeli soldiers - one critically, two in moderate condition. This time Hamas' contractor was the Palestinian Popular Front. After Israeli tanks and helicopters fired back, the Palestinians loosed rockets against the Eshkol and Shear Hanegev districts, followed by Grad rockets aimed at Ashkelon, Ashdod and Gan Yavneh. Iron Dome intercepted two. Locations north of Ashdod as far north as Gedera went on missile alert. No more casualties are reported thus far.

Thursday, Nov. 8, Palestinian terrorists detonated by remote a tunnel packed with explosives against a group of Israeli soldiers. None were hurt.

There was a further escalation after the Israeli bombardment of an Iranian missile plant near Khartoum, one of Hamas' arms suppliers. On Oct. 28, Palestinian Grad missiles were again fired at Beersheba and the regional area of Dimona where Israel's nuclear reactor is situated.

Now, once again, nearly a million civilians living within the Palestinian terrorists' ever widening radius of fire are being told to stay close to shelters - those who have them - and mayors worry about opening schools.

And once again, they hear that the Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has called an urgent conference with Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz. The people living in an area between Gedera and the southern tip of the Gaza Strip up to Beersheba wait again on tenterhooks for some action to put an end to their long agony as hostages to Hamas.

- O Heavenly Father we again come before Your throne to stand in the gap for the safety of Your special land and people. The barrage of missiles rising out of Gaza against Israel is escalating more and more. We seek Your special intervention in all of this, both for the citizens in the line of fire but also for Israel's leaders. We praise You in advance for this help, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let those also who hate Him flee before Him. (Psalm 68:1)

8. GAZA TERROR GROUPS: ISRAEL WILL PAY FOR ITS CRIMES

Palestinian terror groups in Gaza urged retaliation against what the called "the Israeli aggression." Saturday's statement came as IDF tanks fired at terror targets in Gaza Strip, following a border incident in which terrorists fired an anti-tank missile at an IDF patrol traveling near Krani crossing. Two soldiers sustained serious injuries and two others were moderately injured in the incident.

Medical sources in Gaza reported that four people were killed and 25 others were injured by the shelling. The Palestinians claim the wounded were all civilians.

Hamas security forces have reportedly cleared all posts in the vicinity of the scene fearing an imminent Israeli strike.

Several hours later, two rockets were fired at the Eshkol Regional Council. No injuries or damage were reported.

The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades - the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's (PFLP) military wing - have claimed responsibility for the attack; but the IDF said that it is more likely that the Islamic Jihad was responsible. Hamas Spokesman Fauzi Barhoum said that "targeting civilians was a dangerous escalation that cannot be ignored," adding that "Israel will pay for its crimes against the Palestinian people." He further demanded that the Palestinian factions "Put a stop to this criminal aggression."

Mousa added that Israel was "Trying to destroy the Gaza Strip." The Gaza factions are trying to display a uniform front and Gaza sources told Ynet the various leaders plan to "meet and coordinate the response to the Zionist's massacre in Gaza."

Read article:

- Lord Jesus, these Gaza terrorist groups appear to not be able to accept that they are the ones who are instigating the Israeli responses from their initial attacks. We ask You, Lord, to confront these terrorists and put the fear of You, our Holy Lord, into their innermost beings! In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen and Amen.

- When the wicked spring up like grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they may be destroyed forever. (Psalm 92:7)

9. ARABS TORCH JEWISH NEIGHBORS' CARS

A security camera installed by Victor Chernovsky, a resident of French Hill in Jerusalem, captured three Arabs in the act of setting fire to the Chernovsky family's cars Tuesday night. "Last night at 10 forty, in the Tzameret neighborhood, which is a part of French Hill, my wife and I had gone to sleep, and so had the kids," Chernovsky told Arutz Sheva. "Suddenly I heard the dog barking and there was an explosion. We already had something like this happen last year and we installed a camera, and it transmits a picture that we can see on our iPhones."

Chernovsky described daily harrassment by Arab neighbors. "They constantly throw rocks at us in the wadi. All the time. Children aged 8 or 9 pelt us with rocks and above them, the Border Police stand there and they curse and laugh at them. They put a new loudspeaker on the mosque and we hear it as if it is inside our home. They set off fireworks at 11 pm or 12 midnight. It's impossible to live here. They threw a rock at my wife's car when she was inside with two grandmothers. Then on March 8, international women's day, they gave her a 'gift' and burned her car."

Chernovsky said that other news outlets were not interested in the story.

French Hill is a mostly Jewish neighborhood in the northeast part of Jerusalem, and is home to many students from the nearby Hebrew University campus, who rent apartments in the neighborhood. In recent years, several Arab families have bought homes in the neighborhood, often to the chagrin of residents, who fear that that even if the homeowners are law-abiding, Arab terrorists from nearby villages could use the French Hill Arab residents' as a "cover" to get into the neighborhood and carry out terror attacks. The situation in French Hill is symptomatic of Israel in the current generation. Arab violence toward Jews is increasingly commonplace and brazen, yet police and the military are hamstrung by ultra-leftists in the press, in the judical system, in political positions, and within the security forces themselves.

Read article:
- Abba Father, this news reflects the increasing boldness of hatred being spewed out on Jewish residents within Jerusalem itself by their Arab neighbors. Father, what are these people to do? We fall before Your throne and plea for mercy and protection for these people who are living under these threats. Draw them to You, Abba Father, if they do not know You and help them. Rise up and extend Your arm out against this spirit of hatred rising up and expanding, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- Cast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:22)

10. RAIN STORM CAUSES FLOODING IN EILAT

The usually sunny and warm tourist city of Eilat was hit by rain on Friday afternoon. The rain storm caused flooding and many delays throughout the city. The city's airport was flooded and closed for flights, cars were seen floating in the streets and houses filled with water as the heavy rains flooded the city. Channel 2 News reported that at one point the access road to the city was blocked but was subsequently re-opened to traffic. Police were on the scene, treating hazards caused by weather. According to the Israeli Meteorological Service, Eilat received 16.5 millimeters of rain in total on Friday.

One Arkia flight from Tel Aviv to Eilat on Friday afternoon was forced to land at the Ovda Airport north of the city, after the runway in the city airport was flooded. The passengers were taken by bus to Eilat. On Friday morning in the Ramat Aviv area of north Tel Aviv, a storm downed power lines, leading to blackouts. Electric Company spokespeople said the company dealt with the problem immediately, and electricity was restored within an hour. In Bat Yam, strong winds toppled a tree. The tree hit two parked cars, but fortunately did not cause injury. The wet weather is expected to continue through the Sabbath and into the beginning of next week.

Read article:

- Abba Father, we know there has been a serious drought in Israel, where rainfall is needed badly, so we thank You for this rain. However, dangerous storms with flooding and hazards to life bring many problems which can be difficult to handle as well. We ask that they may receive the much needed rain, but be protected from any dangerous and life threatening conditions with it, in Jesus' Name, Amen and Amen.

- Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. (Isaiah 45:22)

11. ISRAEL DENOUNCES TURKISH TRIAL

A court in Istanbul is to try in absentia four ex-Israeli military commanders, including former Israel Defense Forces [IDF] Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi, over the deadly raid of a Turkish boat as it tried to break Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip in 2010. A number of items designed to prevent a takeover of the ship were later discovered aboard the Mavi Marmara. The incident led to a major rift in relations between Turkey and Israel.

Among the charges are, "inciting murder through cruelty or torture." Apart from Ashkenazi, the indictment names former Israeli Navy Commander Eliezer Marom, former Air Force Commander Amos Yadlin, and former head of Air Force intelligence Avishay Levi. Prosecutors are seeking prison sentences of more than 18,000 years for each of them. If the four men are convicted, the Turkish court could issue an international warrant for their arrest. In a statement, Israel's embassy in Ankara called the trial a "unilateral political act with no judicial credibility" and a "political theater." It added the issue should be resolved through dialogue between Israel and Turkey.

In late May 2010, the Mavi Marmara was one of six vessels participating in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. It carried 600 pro-Palestinian activists from a number of countries toward the Gaza coast and was intercepted by the Israeli navy. A UN inquiry found that Israel's blockade of Gaza was "a legitimate security measure" and that Israeli troops had faced "significant, organized, and violent resistance" when they boarded the ship. However, it said Israel's decision to board the ship and the use of substantial force was "excessive and unreasonable." Israel, which carried out its own investigation into the raid, expressed regret for the loss of lives.

- Praise God that He has established the nation of Israel and has promised to defend His people. Pray that the true purpose of this trial will be exposed and the plans of God's enemies come to nothing.

- "Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men, who plan evil things in their hearts; they continually gather together for war." (Psalm 140:1-2)

12. NETANYAHU ON ROCKET FIRE: WE WON'T SIT IDLY BY

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and senior ministers commented on the recent round of violence during Sunday's cabinet meeting. "The IDF is operating and will operate in Gaza," Netanyahu said. "The terror organizations are taking tough blows from the IDF and Israel won't sit idly by. We are ready to step up our response." (YnetNews) Read more.

- Continue to lift up Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and all of his advisors in this time of peril for his nation. Abba will surely lead him by His hand, if he but asks.

- "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." (Psalm 32:8)

1. THE PEOPLE MOST INTERESTED IN PALESTINIAN ARAB UNITY ARE - TERRORISTS

Ever since the Fatah/Hamas split and violent Hamas takeover of Gaza, the rhetoric between the two sides has been sharp (and often entertaining.) The most recent examples have been that Hamas is accusing Fatah of selling out on its commitment to destroy Israel via the "right to return," because of Abbas' misleading interview on Israel TV last week. Fatah responded that Hamas collaborates with Israel to destroy Fatah and Abbas' upcoming UN stunt.

Hamas' police beating of peaceful woman protesters yesterday earned a sharp rebuke from Fatah as well, with it hilariously complaining about Hamas being against freedom of expression - when Fatah is at least as guilty of that itself. Throughout the insults, one party has been keen on settling the differences:

Today, Islamic Jihad held a mini-summit in Gaza in its headquarters to encourage Fatah and Hamas to stop their "bickering and mud-slinging" in the media, especially in the run-up to Abbas' UN bid. Westerners think of people who work for peace and unity to be inherently moderate. In the Middle East, however, the people who want "peace" are often those who also are behind the most heinous terrorist attacks.

The rules are different in that part of the world, and the most fatal mistake Westerners make is by projecting their own mindset onto people who do not share the same culture or values. It is a mistake made over and over again, by both politicians and the media, and the terrorists and their supporters are more than happy to take advantage of it. Because they not only understand the Western mindset - they are constantly manipulating it. (Rapture Watch.com)

- Pray that our national government will carefully look at the Middle East to understand this mindset, so that the USA can and will act appropriately. Pray the White House and Congress are fully knowledgeable about the manipulation of the UN so that we block any attempt to gain statehood for the Palestinians. Pray that the Lord will put His foot down on any machinations at the UN.

- "Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall , I will arise: when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me." (Micah 7: 8)

2. SAUDIS SET TO BUY 25 US ARMY PLANES IN $6.7B. DEAL

Saudi Arabia plans to buy 20 C-130J military transport planes, five KC-130J refueling aircraft (Hercules) and related equipment from Lockheed Martin Corp. valued at about $6.7 billion, the Pentagon said Friday in a statement.

"The proposed sale of these aircraft and support will not alter the basic military balance in the region," the Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) stated. The agency, which oversees foreign arms sales, added that Saudi Arabia needs the airplanes to "sustain its aging fleet, which faces increasing obsolescence.

The US has historically tried to reassure Israel over past military deals with Saudi Arabia. In December 2011, after announcing a sale of fighter jets to the Gulf country worth around $29.4 billion, US officials expressed confidence that the sale would benefit Israeli security by "bolstering moderate allies in the Gulf."

The C-130J-30 variant of the four-engine turbo-prop plane that Saudi Arabia is seeking has 15 extra feet of fuselage compared with the plane's standard model, according to Lockheed, the plane's maker. The extra space lets the plane carry two additional cargo pallets, according to Lockheed's website. The KC-130 J refueling plane is also made by Bethesda, Maryland- based Lockheed.

The proposed "sale to Saudi Arabia represents the largest foreign military sale of C-130s in the program's history," Peter Simmons, a Lockheed spokesman said in an e-mail. The possible sale also includes 120 engines, including 20 spares made by London-based Rolls Royce Holdings Plc, and 25 Link-16 Multifunctional Information Distribution Systems made by Rockwell Collins Inc. based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
(The Jerusalem Post)

- Pray this sale of aircraft is wise, according to the Lord. While Lockheed Martin wants the sale and monies involved, we don't know if Saudi Arabia will remain our friend. Will the Saudis continue to be a good neighbor to Israel? Should the USA demand that any sale to the Saudis allow religious freedom in the Middle Eastern country? Freedom for women? We know how the Lord would answer these two questions. Pray that the Lord's will not be compromised.

- "Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong." (1 Corinthians 16: 13)

3. HORROR IN SYRIA: KILLING THE CHRISTIANS

Reports from Syria indicate members of the Free Syrian Army have started executing Christians while claiming they're shooting Syrian soldiers. A video of a Nov. 1 attack in which black-clad Syrian rebels reportedly killed 28 men has been posted on Youtube.com. An Agence France-Presse story on the attack identified the victims as Syrian soldiers.

But Religious Freedom Coalition President William Murray said two of the victims were associated with his cooperating organization in Syria, which distributes aid. The victims were not soldiers, he said, but civilians from the same neighborhood, "so they were all probably Christians." He argued that even a brief review of photos of the attack indicates the victims were civilians. "They were not armed and never were combatants," Murray said.

A human rights activist working in Syria whose name has been withheld for security reasons said two of the men were Christians. "Two of the men I am sure were Christians and were first kidnapped from their neighborhood, then taken out and shot," the activist said. Act for America President and Founder Brigitte Gabriel said it's well known that the Syrian rebels are executing Christians. They are notorious for their tactical torture of their enemies," Gabriel said. "Those people rising against Assad and being crushed are all Muslim Brotherhood whom Bashir Assad's father, Hafez Assad, crushed 30 years ago in Hama," Gabriel said. Gabriel added that the rebels feel empowered, which only fuels their hatred of Christians. "Now they are feeling empowered after what they saw in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. They feel this is their opportunity. They despise the Christians living in Syria and would love to either convert them or kill them," Gabriel said.
(World Net Daily)

- Please pray for the Christians in Syria, for their faith has been so challenged by Islam that the Christians no longer have strong prayer strategies to thwart and divert the enemies. They are desperate for our spiritual help. Remember that the Apostle Paul first met the Lord in Damascus and the enemy of man has been trying ever since to wrest faith in the Lord from the Syrian peoples. Pray also that this news of the killing and torturing of Christians will reach the world and that the world will bring such disapproval on Syria that she will have to succumb to the Lord's directions.

- "Therefore, o shepherds, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them." (Ezekiel34: 9,10)

4. ISLAMISTS RALLY FOR SHARIAH LAW IN EGYPT

Over 10,000 ultraconservative Muslims demonstrated Friday in downtown Cairo to demand that Egypt's new constitution be based on the rulings of Islamic law, or Shariah, in the latest tussle over the role of religion in the country's future. The writing of the constitution has been fraught with controversy since last year's political uprising that toppled longtime autocrat Hosni Mubarak and ushered in the rise of formerly repressed Islamists to power. But Islamists themselves are not in agreement over the interpretation of Shariah and its place in the document.

Demonstrators in Tahrir Square demanded that the panel tasked with writing the constitution override liberal and secular objections and include language that could see religious scholars influencing legislation. The panel is led by the Muslim Brotherhood, the powerful Islamist group from which the country's new President Mohammed Morsi hails.

"Shariah is our constitution," and, "The people demand the application of God's law," protesters chanted.

The controversy surrounding the constitution is centered on the wording of the second amendment. In the former constitution, the wording stated that the "principles of Islamic Shariah" are the basis of legislation. This wording is favored by liberals because they say it refers to the broad ideas of Islam.

Ultraconservatives are pushing for more, though. They want the wording changed to state that the basis of law will be "the rulings of Shariah," implying Egypt's laws may be left to the interpretation of religious scholars.

The current 100-member assembly has just a handful of women, some of them from the Brotherhood, and eight Christians. It is the second constitutional assembly to be formed, with the first body dissolved by court order earlier this year after liberals and seculars walked out over complaints that Islamists were trying to dominate the process.

Egypt's two most powerful political movements, the Brotherhood and the more conservative Salafi Nour Party, said they were not participating in Friday's protest, although many of their supporters did. The two groups, which hold an influential number of seats in the assembly, have said protests are premature since the constitution is still being written. Many were bussed in from outside Cairo to take part in Friday's rally, which was significantly smaller without the organized support of the Brotherhood.

"People are scared of the application of Shariah, but I am telling Muslims and Christians and everyone that Islam is a mercy on all of us because it is based on the Quran's rules," protester Gaber Mohammed said.

Protesters waved the black Islamist flag and the Egyptian flag, and held traditional Friday prayers in the square after a sermon by conservative preacher, Mohammed al-Sagheer. (AP)

- Pray that moderate voices will be the most determined voices in Egypt, rather than those of the ultra-conservatives. Shariah indicates power, which is what the jihadists want, including the Moslem Brotherhood. Once shariah controls Egypt, it will want power throughout the world, including the USA. Praise the Lord that Christians know the truth. Continue to pray for the Christians in Egypt.

- "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4: 8)

5. ISRAEL SAYS TO CLOSE CASH TAP IF PALESTINIANS SEEK U.N. STATEHOOD

Israel will stop collecting tax revenues for the Palestinian Authority and not hand over any money if President Mahmoud Abbas continues to seek observer state membership of the United Nations, Israel's finance minister said on Saturday. "

On Wednesday, the Western-backed Palestinian Authority circulated a draft resolution to U.N. member states that calls for upgrading its U.N. status to that of observer state, despite objections by the United States and Israel.

The Palestinians are currently considered an observer "entity" at the United Nations. Upgrading them to a non-member state, similar to the Vatican's U.N. status, would implicitly recognize Palestinian statehood. It could also grant them access to bodies such as the International Criminal Court in The Hague, where they could file complaints against Israel. The status upgrade seems certain to win approval in any vote in the General Assembly, which is composed mostly of post-colonial states historically sympathetic to the Palestinians.

Palestinian diplomats also are courting European countries to further burnish their case. Israel and the United States oppose the move, saying Palestinian statehood must be achieved by negotiation. They have called on Abbas to return to peace talks that collapsed in 2010 over Israeli settlement construction in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinians seek to establish a state in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip - which is controlled by the Islamist Hamas group who are bitter rivals of the Palestinian Authority - and want East Jerusalem as its capital.

The aid-dependent Palestinian economy in the West Bank faces financial crisis due to a drop in aid from Western backers and wealthy Gulf states, as well as Israeli restrictions on trade. (Reuters) Read more.

- Pray for the UN to reject any attempt of measures being taken by Palestinians to gain a foothold in the UN. Pray that Abbas will understand he and his people will not gain any role at the UN. Also pray for Netanyahu to stand firmly against the Palestinians. Praise the Lord for the determination that Netanyahu has shown during this discussion. Netanyahu is not cowed by any threats. He is a David!

-"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God." (Romans 10: 3)

6. BRUSSELS: EU BISHOPS CALL FOR SOLIDARITY IN EUROPE

For the first time ever, a meeting of a national Bishops' Conference took place in Brussels. Under the Chairmanship of Cardinal Schönborn, the Plenary Assembly of the Austrian Bishops gathered together from 5 to 8 November in the COMECE premises to deliver a clear sign of support for Europe. "Europe needs Solidarity from all quarters " explained Cardinal Schönborn. (Independent Catholic News) Read more.

- Pray for this sign of solidarity among the European states. Can the EU states retain their individual identities like language and cultural events in the midst of solidarity? Many of the European states are very secular, an attitude that may cause problems.

- "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." (Romans 8: 28)

RED ALERT - ISRAEL

A Report from the House of Peace in Jerusalem

Dear Prayer Warriors for Israel:

Greetings from Jerusalem and the House of Peace. I am writing this letter to ask for your prayers for Israel, its people and its leaders. Once again, the terrorist organizations that hate this nation are striving to drive Israel into another conflict. Since this weekend started Hamas squads have fired over 110 rockets into Southern Israel. Many of them were timed to hit at the same hour that Israel's schools dismissed. Perhaps, these evil workers were hoping to murder and maim children in order to force Israel to react. Read this link at Israel National News for more information on this.

Retaliatory Fire at Syria

Israel's deteriorating security situation erupted simultaneously on two fronts Sunday, Nov. 11. The IDF fired a Tamuz precision guided missile against a mortar position 4 kilometers inside Syria after a stray mortar hit the IDF Golan defense post at Tel Hazaka. It was the fourth incident of cross-border violence from the Syrian conflict in 10 days and the first time Israel had fired across the Golan border since the 1973 war. The Tamuz was developed by RAFAEL and is operated from specially modified M-113 Hafiz armored personnel carriers. The shot fired at Syria was described by the IDF spokesman as a warning to Damascus, backing up the Defense Minister Ehud Barak warning last week that spillovers from the Syrian war would not be tolerated and would elicit a military response.

Last Thursday Marylois and I were visiting Mt Bental with a group of intercessors from Mexico. Mt Bental is a high overlook in the Golan Heights where you can view Syria. Pastora Elia from Mexico had just finished blowing the shofar over Syria. As we were leaving, we heard three loud "whomps" sound in the distance. About that time a few older U.S. vets (Vietnam, I think) on a tour there shouted "incoming." I knew by that sound what they were saying was true. It was mortar fire. The paper the next day said that one shell had landed in the Israeli Moshav Alonei Habashan, not far from our position. The two others were near the border. No one was hurt.

I believe that the Syrian rebels who are desperately trying to topple President Assad are deliberately trying to pull Israel into a war against Syria. Previously an IDF jeep was heavily damaged by machine gun fire coming from Syria. Everyone here is "holding their breath" and waiting to see if either Syria or Lebanon's Hezbollah will return fire with their rockets.

Rockets exploding in Southern Israel

This weekend Gaza Palestinians fired numerous Grad missiles at Israeli civilian locations. The Iron Dome anti-rocket system intercepted four of the missiles. Four Israeli soldiers were also wounded Saturday, two seriously by an anti-tank missile which set their jeep on fire. Six civilians were injured in their homes and hospitalized Sunday as well. Two homes in Sderot were hit by a missile tonight. As I write this the missiles are continuing to explode.

Escalation expected

Israel's military command expects the military confrontation on the Gaza front to escalate. Israel's emergency services have been elevated to maximum C-level preparedness in the South and also further north, in case Hamas expands its rocket offensive to central Israel as well. It is also curious that this warfare only began after the U.S. elections were over. It is as if Hamas' terrorists were "waiting" to see who would be elected. When President Obama was returned into power that was for them "a sign" to go ahead and launch a winter offensive against Israel. These Islamic terrorists are also seeking to diminish Prime Minister's Netanyahu's electability as Israel has scheduled elections in January.

Weapons Upgraded

The Palestinian Gaza terrorists are now firing Multiple-Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) "Katyshas" supplied by the Lebanese Hezbollah and 120-mm bunker-busting mortars in their current offensive against Israeli towns, villages and troops, Israeli lawmaker Shay Hermesh revealed Sunday, Nov. 11 after 6 civilians were hospitalized. Anti-tank missiles are also being used and roadside bombs are being "planted" on the border routes that the IDF uses to patrol along the Gaza fence. Israel has launched nine separate air strikes against Hamas rocket squads.

Even so, the IDF has responded to all this with restraint, but what other nation on earth would allow over 110 rockets and missiles to pummel its civilians and not respond with full force. The UN though is silent on this undeclared warfare. Palestine as usual is opting for both warfare and peace. This nation of terrorists is once again approaching the United Nations and seeing recognition as a nation. Egypt is "attempting" to broker a cease fire between Hamas and Israel.
- Prayer requests:

Please pray that Israel is able to knock out these terrorist squads that are peppering its cities and towns with missiles. Pray protection for Israel's children, elderly and the IDF. Most residents in these Southern towns have only 15 seconds to get to a shelter. Pray wisdom for Israel's leaders. Pray against world condemnation as Israel tries to defend itself. Pray that the God of Israel would show Himself mightily against Israel's tormentors.

- "In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee for thou wilt answer me . . . O God the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul and have not set thee before them . . . Show me a token for good that they which hate me may see it and be ashamed: because thou LORD has helped me and comforted me." (Ps. 86:7, 14, 17)

1. GENERAL PETRAEUS LETTER OF RESIGNATION

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the White House and asked the President to be allowed, for personal reasons, to resign from my position as D/CIA. After being married for over 37 years, I showed extremely poor judgment by engaging in an extramarital affair. Such behavior is unacceptable, both as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as ours. This afternoon, the President graciously accepted my resignation.

As I depart Langley, I want you to know that it has been the greatest of privileges to have served with you, the officers of our Nation's Silent Service, a work force that is truly exceptional in every regard. Indeed, you did extraordinary work on a host of critical missions during my time as director, and I am deeply grateful to you for that.

Teddy Roosevelt once observed that life's greatest gift is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing. I will always treasure my opportunity to have done that with you and I will always regret the circumstances that brought that work with you to an end.

Thank you for your extraordinary service to our country, and best wishes for continued success in the important endeavors that lie ahead for our country and our Agency.

With admiration and appreciation,

David H. Petraeus

- As more details continue to unfold about this sorry matter, please keep General Petraeus and his wife, Holly, in your prayers. We ask for healing for each of them, and for their marriage, in Jesus' name, amen.

- "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

2. LAWMAKERS URGE PETRAEUS TESTIMONY ON LIBYA ATTACK

Lawmakers and other officials, after getting over the shock of Gen. David Petraeus' sudden resignation Friday, are increasingly coming to at least one consensus -- the former CIA director's personal indiscretions are no reason to prevent him from testifying to Congress about the Libya attack.

Petraeus had originally been set to testify in a pair of closed hearings Thursday before the House and Senate intelligence committees. In the wake of Petraeus' resignation over an extramarital affair, he is no longer expected to appear at that hearing -- Acting Director Mike Morrell will testify instead.

Officials now indicate they may seek Petraeus' testimony regardless, perhaps not this week but in the future. (Fox News) Read more.

- Pray that Congress will not "sit still" for this excuse and that, if need be, General Petraeus is subpoenaed to testify. Four American lives were lost in this tragedy, and someone will need to be held accountable for the mistakes that led to this disaster.

Pray, too, that the committee members are inspired to ask the right questions that will give Petraeus "permission" to the things he knows that are keys to unlocking all the information needed by the Congress and for the American people to hear.

- "He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light."
(Job 12:22)

3. OBAMA'S BATTLE ON BENGHAZI FAR FROM FINISHED

Obama's victory in the general election this week does not silence those who have been criticizing his administration's response to the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

The critics, which include of former military and intelligence personnel, conservative commentators and grieving relatives, are set to redouble their efforts, highlighting what they call the administration's failure to give straight answers to questions about security at the consulate and official actions before, during and after the attack.

"We are going to keep the pressure on," said Fred W. Rustmann Jr., from the advocacy group OpSec.

OpSec, a military term meaning "operational security," is a group of former special operations forces and intelligence veterans who campaigned during the election to raise national security issues about Mr. Obama, though as a 501(c) 4 organization it was not allowed to campaign for or against the election of anyone. (Washington Times) Read more.

- My God and my High Tower, we ask that You intercept all excuses made by this administration that would alleviate their national responsibility in the deaths of four Americans who were set up and allowed to be killed by known terrorists when it could have been prevented and no blood would have been shed. We call on the High Court of God in heaven to pass down the judgment of guilty as charged and penalties be enforced. In Jesus' Name.

- "Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known God's ways: unto whom I swore in My wrath that they should not enter into My rest." Psalm 95:10-11

4. THE REAL REASON PETRAEUS RESIGNED

It was just a coincidence that the attack on the Benghazi consulate occurred on the anniversary of 9/11. We were told that it was really a "protest turned violent" over an anti-Islam video that had exactly seventeen views on YouTube, being uploaded two months before, averaging less than one view per day.

CIA director David Petraeus toed the party line and parroted this ludicrous YouTube story, backing up Obama in testimony to Congress. At least until we found out that there was no protest. At least until we found out that Obama had known it was a terrorist act in less than an hour with emails going directly to the White House Situation Room. At least until we found out that the Obama administration had a live drone feed of the entire seven hour attack.

Then we found out the two former SEALS and then CIA operatives Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were told to repeatedly "stand down" and not help Ambassador Chris Stevens and the other Americans. But they disobeyed a direct order and went anyway, saving over twenty Americans, but paying with their lives.

Petraeus toed the party line with the video but refused to fall on the sword and say the CIA gave this stand down order, thus implicating that it was Obama who had denied help to both the consulate and CIA annex which later came under attack.

And when you cross . . . Obama, payback is swift and lethal.

Petraeus needed to be taken out-but after the election-and before he was scheduled to testify under oath this time to Congress about what he knew about Benghazi.

Petraeus' resignation had nothing to do with an affair. In fact, the affair had been over for months. The FBI had been investigating literally thousands of emails that Petraeus had sent to his former paramour, biographer Paula Broadwell, for longer than that and could have dropped the guillotine months before if they wanted to. It was rather about paybacks and keeping the American people in the dark about the real reason Petraeus had to be kept quiet about Benghazi: gunrunning. Gunrunning of tens of thousands of Libyan weapons to the al-Qaeda-linked Syrian rebels. (Western Journalism) Read more.

- The deeper we look, the worse this gets. The hearing about events in Benghazi is scheduled to take place this Thursday before a joint session of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees behind closed doors. Pray that the American people be told the truth about what has happened in Libya. No more lies!

- "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come." (John 16:13)

5. COMMENTARY: THERE ARE SEVERAL COVER-UPS GOING ON

To view this commentary by Ron Kessler, aired by Fox News, go here.

- National Security / Intelligence Community / CIA FBI Homeland Security / Police / All types of security guards - should really be lifted up through this convoluted and dangerous time. As the Lord continues to separate wheat from chaff, and guilty from innocent, lift up all in authority that they be grounded in truth -- whatever may come -- and be granted wisdom to know what to do in response. PRAY!
- ". . . whenever a survivor of Ephraim said, 'Let me cross over,' the men of Gilead asked him, 'Are you an Ephraimite?' If he replied, 'No,' they said, 'All right, say 'Shibboleth.' If he said, 'Sibboleth,' because he could not pronounce the word correctly, they seized him and killed him at the fords of the Jordan." (Judges 12:5,6)

1. SUSAN RICE IS TOP CANDIDATE TO SUCCEED HILLARY

Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, is emerging as the favored candidate to succeed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, even with the political controversy over her remarks about the fatal Sept. 11 attack on the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. Six current or former White House officials, who all spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations, said Rice remains close to President Barack Obama and shares many of his views on foreign policy. They emphasized that the president hasn't made a final decision, and Clinton may remain in her post for some months into Obama's second term. Rice is thought to be the president's preferred choice over two other strong candidates, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry of Massachusetts and National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, according to the current and former administration officials. (Business Week) Read more.

- Father, as the new candidates are set in place to succeed those holding office the past four years, we call for the perfect will of our God who sits in heaven overseeing all the affairs of men and women in government. Let it be God alone who makes the choice so that all that follows will fit into the purposes of the Lord over all. In Jesus' Name we ask it.

- "Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations." (Psalm 33:8,9,11)

2. U.S. HISPANIC GROUP DEMANDS NATIONAL AMNESTY FOR 11 MILLION ILLEGALS

Hispanic amnesty activists are expanding their goals beyond the so-called "DREAM Act" youth amnesty, towards a national amnesty for roughly 11 million Hispanic illegals.

President Barack Obama and Congress "need to come together to deliver change on immigration policy, and by that we mean a roadmap to citizenship for our parents and communities," said Cristina Jimenez, direct of an advocacy group, United We Dream. Jimenez was born in Ecuador and arrived in this country as an illegal immigrant.

"Deporting members of our community is irresponsible and unacceptable," added Lorella Praeli, the group's policy director.

Their demand is an opening salvo in a post-election campaign to persuade the House GOP to provide "a path to citizenship" for roughly 11 million illegal immigrants, most of whom are low-skill laborers who compete for jobs against low-skill Americans. (Daily Caller) Read more.

- Father God, we are distressed to see the results of this election in action, which means that those who disobey our laws are making more demands on us. We ask that You would bring order to our immigration laws and especially the enforcement of them. We ask that You would make a way where there does not seem to be a way for this problem to be solved, including the caring for those who are already here. We know when you get involved in a situation, all aspects of it are settled.

- "The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thee: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways." (Deuteronomy 28:7)

3. PUERTO RICO VOTE FIRST STEP IN MAKING ISLAND 51st U.S. STATE

Puerto Ricans faced a fundamental question on Election Day: Should they change their ties with the United States?

Citizens in the U.S. island territory cannot vote in the U.S. presidential election, but many were excited to participate in a referendum on whether to push the territory toward statehood, greater autonomy or independence.

Car horns blared and party flags waved after polling stations closed following what election officials said was a high voter turnout. During the day, many voters carried umbrellas against the blistering tropical sun as temperatures neared 90 degrees Fahrenheit (31 degrees Celsius). (National Post)

- God, many changes are about to happen and we call for the voice of God to be heard by everyone so that all will be accomplished in the perfect will of Almighty God. We trust the Lord to direct the steps of men and nations to align with what lies in the future for the United States of America and the world. In the Name of Jesus we ask this.

"For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He puts down one, and sets up another."(Psalm 75:6)

4. 54 DAYS UNTIL A $7 TRILLION TAX HIKE HITS THE NATION

In 54 days, $7 trillion in tax hikes and spending cuts over the next decade will automatically go into effect. If America goes over this "fiscal cliff," experts say the already rickety U.S. economy could implode.

To avert the economic calamity, on Wednesday Speaker John Boehner offered Obama a "bridge" to help the nation safely cross the fiscal cliff. He called upon Obama to act on behalf of the nation rather than as a pathetic leftist.

"In order to garner Republican support for new revenues, the [Obama] must be willing to reduce spending and shore up the entitlement programs that are the primary drivers of our debt." (Breitbart News) Read more.

- Holy Father, we call for Your divine intervention and ask that You cut off this tax hike, encounter this radical act of destruction against the American people, and counteract all these entitlement programs and excessive spending with the blood of Jesus Christ. We ask that the mighty angels of heaven be dispatched to stand against the shadow government, and all its entities and defeat their plans and pull down and weaken their power to preempt the perfect plan of the Lord God in heaven. In the Name of Jesus we pray.

- "And God said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of water of life freely. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death." (Revelation 21:6, 8)

5. U.S. REVERSES STANCE ON TREATY TO REGULATE ARMS TRADE

The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the United States would support the talks as long as the negotiating forum, the so-called Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty, "operates under the rules of consensus decision-making."

"Consensus is needed to ensure the widest possible support for the Treaty and to avoid loopholes in the Treaty that can be exploited by those wishing to export arms irresponsibly," Clinton said in a written statement. (Reuters) Read more.

- Father God, oversee these talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales and block and oppose it being set in place as law. We ask that the decision of this treaty be made in heaven and not be put in the hands of men. In Jesus' Name.

"Who will rise up for us against the evildoers? Or who will stand up for us against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been our help, our souls had almost dwelt in silence." (Psalm 94:16-17)

6. OBAMACARE VS. JOBS

Job seekers will soon have a harder time finding full-time work, thanks to Obamacare. As of 2014, the law will attempt to force employers to provide insurance - but in doing so, it will have the unintended effect of making part-time employees more desirable than full-timers.

That's because if a business with more than 49 full-time employees fails to offer insurance coverage, it will be required to pay a fine. And the fine will apply starting not with the 50th employee, but with the 31st. At $2,000 per employee after the first 30, these fines add up fast. A business that surpasses the threshold by just one full-time employee will face $40,000 each year in penalties. So consequently, businesses will close because they cannot afford Obama's irresponsible business bondage employees lose -- causing more people to enter the government welfare rolls which in turn drives up the U.S.debt. (National Review) Read more.

- Dear Lord, we seek Your help with this unfair and burdensome law. We pray that it will, somehow by Divine action, be removed from the already heavy requirements placed on businesses. Father, our hearts go out to the struggling business owners and the employees who will suffer because of this misguided law. Please provide for them in Your own way.

- "So what about these wise men, these scholars, these brilliant debaters of this world's great affairs? God has made them all look foolish, and shown their wisdom to be useless nonsense." (1 Corinthians 1:20)

7. LOUISIANA RESIDENTS PETITION TO SECEDE

On November 6, Americans voted to return Obama to the White House; then on November 7, some folks in Louisiana petitioned the White House to peaceably withdraw their state from the Union.

According to the White House website, the petition was created by Michael E. (full last name not provided) of Slidell, La., the day after the election and has since been electronically signed by a few hundred people, most - but not all - of whom hail from the Pelican State of Louisiana.

The petition has until December 7 of this year to gather 25,000 signatures, at which time, the White House pledges, it will be placed on a queue for response from the administration. (World Net Daily) Read more.

- Heavenly Father, we ask that You intervene on behalf of the majority of American citizens who are increasingly finding themselves at odds with governmental decisions -- particularly at the federal level -- being thrust upon them by liberal socialists who do not reflect the heart of the people of this nation. We ask that You deliver us from evil.

- "Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." (Matthew 6:9-13)

8. IRS GIVES PASS TO CHURCHES, MORE PASTORS SPEAK

Since the enforcement of the Johnson Amendment in 1954, many pastors have relinquished their First Amendment Rights in fear of losing their tax exempt status. Recently, thousands of pastors challenged the constitutionality of the Amendment on Pulpit Freedom Sunday with great success!

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has officially reported what Liberty Counsel has been saying all along: The IRS is not auditing churches because it does not have the authority to take away churches' tax-free status. (Liberty Counsel) Read more.

- Pray that the truth regarding the freedoms that are guaranteed to this nation's churches be understood by all. Pray that God's Word will be honored above the word of man in any form, and especially if it is contrary to God's will. Give thanks to the Lord that an honest report came forth on the issue of tax exemption threats not being a viable option against honest church governments desiring to exercise freedom of speech.

- "Then Jesus said to them, 'Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's.' And they were amazed at him." (Mark 12:17)

9. CHINA ALERT: RED FLAG OVER THE ATLANTIC

On June 27, a plane carrying Wen Jiabao made a "technical" stop on the island of Terceira, in the Azores. Following an official greeting by Alamo Meneses, the regional secretary of environment of the sea, the Chinese premier spent four hours touring the remote Portuguese outpost in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Wen's Terceira walkabout, which followed a four-nation visit to South America, largely escaped notice at the time, but alarm bells should have immediately gone off in Washington and in European capitals. For one thing, Wen's last official stop on the trip was Santiago, the capital of Chile. Flights from Chile to China normally cross the Pacific, not the Atlantic, so there was no reason for his plane to be near the Azores. Moreover, those who visit the Azores generally favor other islands in the out-of-the-way chain.

Terceira, however, has one big attraction for Beijing: Air Base No. 4. Better known as Lajes Field, the facility where Premier Wen's 747 landed in June is jointly operated by the U.S. Air Force and its Portuguese counterpart. If China controlled the base, the Atlantic would no longer be secure. From the 10,865-foot runway on the northeast edge of the island, Chinese planes could patrol the northern and central portions of the Atlantic and thereby cut air and sea traffic between the U.S. and Europe. Beijing would also be able to deny access to the nearby Mediterranean Sea.

And China could target the American homeland. Lajes is less than 2,300 miles from New York, shorter than the distance between Pearl Harbor and Los Angeles. (National Review) Read more.

- Pray that our military and governmental leaders recognize the movement in Chinese diplomacy regarding strategic footholds in the west which this island intrusion may represent. Pray that U.S. and European nations understand what may be at stake with further intrusive policies regarding military footings and staging areas in the American/European theatre of the Atlantic.

- "And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment." (1 Chronicles 12:32)

20. THE MEANING OF VETERAN'S DAY

This past Sunday, November 11, was Veterans Day. In this Veterans Day speech to the Semper Fi Society of St. Louis, Lieutenant General John F. Kelly, US Marine Corps, pays a moving tribute to the heroism of our warriors. He makes clear the debt of gratitude that the rest of us owe these dedicated men and women, whose sacrifices make it possible for us to enjoy peace, freedom, and the pursuit of private happiness. He concludes with an account of a most remarkable display of self-sacrifice on the part of two Marines. (Four days before this speech was given, General Kelly's own son, Robert, was killed in action on a mission in Afghanistan during his third tour of duty; another son remained in combat with the Marines.) (American Enterprises Institute) Read more.

- Lord, this brings home the price some have paid so that the rest of us can live in freedom in this country. We pray that those who have sacrificed in all our country's conflicts will know that there are so many of us who are grateful for their service to defend America here and abroad. We ask that You would bless each one who has served and comfort those whose family and friends have paid the ultimate price.

- "Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." (Romans 13:7)

President Barack Obama had little time to savor victory on Wednesday after voters gave him a second term in the White House where he faces urgent economic challenges, a looming fiscal showdown and a still-divided Congress able to block his every move.

Despite a decisive win over Republican Mitt Romney in Tuesday's election, Obama must negotiate with a Republican majority in the House of Representatives to try to overcome the partisan gridlock that gripped Washington for much of his first term.

The most urgent focus for Obama and U.S. lawmakers will be to deal with the "fiscal cliff," a mix of tax increases and spending cuts due to extract some $600 billion from the economy starting early next year, barring a deal with Congress. Economists warn it could push the United States back into recession. (Reuters) Read more.

- Lord God Almighty, Everlasting Ruler and Lord of Love, we submit our hearts, our dreams and our families - to You alone! We do not put our trust in "princes," nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help." (Ps.146:3) In You we take shelter; teach us to both perceive and to do Your will in all our earthly circumstances, even as we are watching the unfolding events of Your soon coming. May all that happens in the days ahead serve to draw us closer to You as laborers in the great end time harvest; walking in Your grace and power to the eternal glory of Your name, Lord Jesus! We look up!!

- "Only be sure as citizens so to conduct yourselves [that] your manner of life [will be] worthy of the good news (the Gospel) of Christ, so that whether I [do] come and see you or am absent, I may hear this of you: that you are standing firm in united spirit and purpose, striving side by side and contending with a single mind for the faith of the glad tidings (the Gospel). And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God. For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ's sake not only to believe in Him (adhere to, rely on, and trust in), but also to suffer in His behalf. So you are engaged in the same conflict which you saw me[wage]." (Philippians 1:22-30 AMP)

2. OBAMA LIKELY WON RE-ELECTION THROUGH ELECTION FRAUD

. . . polls indicated that Romney was going to win the election. The economy is close to Great Depression era conditions, and unemployment is almost as high as when Obama entered office. Economic conditions became so dire after Obama took office it prompted the rise of an entire new movement, the Tea Party. Presidents rarely win reelection when the economy is in the tank.

So how did Romney lose a race that numerous reputable polls and pundits predicted would be an easy win, based on historical patterns? The most realistic explanation is voter fraud in a few swing states. According to the Columbus Dispatch, one out of every five registered voters in Ohio is ineligible to vote. In at least two counties in Ohio, the number of registered voters exceeded the number of eligible adults who are of voting age. In northwestern Ohio's Wood County, there are 109 registered voters for every 100 people eligible to vote. An additional 31 of Ohio's 88 counties have voter registration rates over 90%, which most voting experts regard as suspicious. Obama miraculously won 100% of the vote in 21 districts in Cleveland, and received over 99% of the vote where GOP inspectors were illegally removed. . .

Many on the left believe there is nothing wrong with committing fraud in order to ensure Obama's reelection. It is a common tenet on the left that the ends justify the means. Saul Alinsky, the 1960's radical who inspired Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, taught community organizers like Obama that dishonesty is acceptable if it achieves your political goals. And when caught, Alinsky teaches radicals to deny the wrongdoing and change the topic to put their accusers on the defensive. One Obama supporter brazenly posted on Facebook that he was voting four times for Obama, asserting that the ends justify the means.

Aiding Obama's win was a devious suppression of the conservative vote. The conservative-leaning military vote has decreased drastically since 2010 due to the so-called Military Voter Protection Act that was enacted into law the year before. It has made it so difficult for overseas military personnel to obtain absentee ballots that in Virginia and Ohio there has been a 70% decrease in requests for ballots since 2008. In Virginia, almost 30,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots than in 2008. In Ohio, more than 20,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots. This is significant considering Obama won in both states by a little over 100,000 votes.

When people claim that Obama won because the economy was improving, or because Americans generally think he is doing a good job, it is not true. He won through dishonest methods and rhetoric. Many of the votes cast in the swing states were cajoled, some legally and perhaps even more illegally, into supporting him. If voter fraud becomes acceptable, then maybe Donald Trump is right: it's time for a revolution. (TownHall.com) Read more.

- We are receiving more and more reports of alleged and actual cases of fraud that occurred in last week's election. This level of illegal voting is unconscionable and simply must be addressed. Cry out to our God for justice to be rendered in this critical matter. This is NOT America; this is a banana republic! Pray!

- "'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have gone far enough, O princes of Israel! Give up your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Stop dispossessing my people, declares the Sovereign LORD." (Ezek. 45:9)

3. U.S. ELECTION: AMERICA GOES LIBERAL
Voters Approve Gay Marriage, Abortion and Cannabis

The generally liberal moves were decided among more than 170 ballot initiatives and referendums held across the country, as it re-elected Democratic President Barack Obama for four more years.

Mr Obama came out in favour of gay marriage months before the election which pitted him against Republican rival Mitt Romney, who insists that marriage should be reserved for a relationship between a man and a woman. During his first four-year term Mr Obama had also fulfilled a pledge to repeal the controversial Don't Ask Don't Tell (DADT) law banning openly gay servicemen and women from serving in the US military.

Three states voted Tuesday to legalise same-sex marriage, including Maine - which voted in a referendum against it in 2009, but reversed that decision with 54 per cent in favour to 46 per cent against. (The Telegraph) Read more.

4. GLOBAL STOCKS, EURO FALL ON FISCAL WORRIES AFTER U.S. VOTE

World shares and the euro fell on Wednesday as traders turned their focus to the festering fiscal problems in the United States and Europe after the re-election of President Barack Obama signaled no dramatic shift in U.S. economic policies.

Markets doubted that Obama can reach a timely deal with Republican lawmakers in the lame-duck session of a divided Congress to avert the "fiscal cliff" - some $600 billion in automatic tax hikes and spending cuts set to kick in on January 1.

"The minute such a deal is cut, we'll boom. If one is not cut - and soon - we may well double-dip into recession," said Robert L. Reynolds, president and chief executive of Putnam Investments in Boston. "This upcoming lame-duck session may just be the most consequential in our lifetimes. The stakes are high and the time is short," he said in a statement. (Reuters) Read more.

- Father we are aware that the hidden agendas of these leaders are a pathway to one world government. We do not know Your timetable, but we ask that You prepare us, protect us, and show us the way to bring harvest in for Your Kingdom in the midst of trouble around us.

- "Good understanding gains favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard." [Proverbs 13:15]

5. OBAMA TIES TAX INCREASE TO ANY "FISCAL CLIFF" DEAL

President Obama, claiming his election "majority" was a vindication of his fiscal policy, held firm Friday to his intention to include tax hikes for America's top earners in any negotiations with Congress to pull the nation back from the so-called "fiscal cliff."

The president, in his first remarks from Washington since winning a second term, urged officials to "get to work" on the issue as he invited congressional leaders to the White House next week. He said he's open to "compromise," but did not appear to budge on what has been a central disagreement over the last two years -- whether to extend the Bush-era tax rates for everyone, or to let them lapse for households making more than $250,000.

"I refuse to accept any approach that isn't balanced," Obama said Friday. "This was a central question during the election . . . and on Tuesday night, we found out that a majority of Americans agree with my approach." "Our job now is to get a majority in Congress to reflect the will of the American people." (Fox News) Read more.

- Holy Father, by Your power extend the Bush-era tax rates for everyone and God, we trust that You will move upon Congress to vote not to target those making more than $250,000 per year. May Congress unanimously vote to extend the current tax rates with no increases. We ask that You weaken the ones who want to destroy our right to work and amply be paid for our work. God, bind all evil under the blood of Jesus and break the power of threats and control to take away our rights of voting according to the dictates of the Lord Most High. In Jesus' Name.

- "And that because of false brethren unawares secretly slipped in one who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage." (Galatians 2:4)

6. REPUBLICANS FIND REFUGE IN THE HOUSE

In the decision desk at Fox News on election night, none of us paid much heed when it became clear that Republicans would maintain their majority in the House of Representatives. The information was broadcast quickly and everyone went back to talking about the presidential election. But actually it was rather extraordinary.   Republicans won or are leading in 236 of the 435 House seats, down just six from the 2010 midterm. And they achieved this despite losing five seats because of partisan redistricting in Illinois and another five in California thanks to a supposedly nonpartisan redistricting commission that the Democrats successfully gamed.   The GOP has now won control of the House in eight of the past 10 congressional elections, dating back to 1994. Republicans failed to win a majority in the House in the 20 elections between 1954 and 1992. (Wall Street Journal) Read more.

- Father, we thank You that our government is not entirely in the hands of one party at this critical time in our country's history. We pray the righteous will be able to stand against immoral positions and bad policy for our country.  We ask You to bless the many Godly men and women in this governing body with Your divine wisdom for their legislative duties.

-"For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding."  (Proverbs 2:6)

7. REPUBLICANS RETAIN CONTROL OF HOUSE
Sets up Ongoing Standoff with Obama

Republicans have clinched control of the House for two more years, assuring that their conservative agenda will dominate the chamber and that future clashes with re-elected President Barack Obama lie ahead. The GOP has won 217 seats. Two Louisiana Republicans will face each other in a December runoff, assuring the GOP will have 218 seats - the number needed for a majority. Their margin will likely resemble the majority they enjoy in the current House, which they control by 240-190. There are also five vacant seats.

Even before renewed GOP control was clinched, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio -- re-elected to his seat without opposition. -- claimed victory and laid down a marker for upcoming battles in Congress. "The American people want solutions, and tonight they responded by renewing our House Republican majority," he said at a gathering of Republicans in Washington. "The American people also made clear there's no mandate for raising tax rates." (AP) Read more.

- Father, we ask that the present income tax cuts will be renewed and there be no increase in taxes to the high, medium or low income salaries. God, we pray for a miracle and a definite presence of the Lord to abolish increases of taxes. In Jesus' Name.

- "God has trodden down all them that err from Your statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross." (Psalm 119:118-119)

8. JOHN BOEHNER: "OBAMACARE IS THE LAW OF THE LAND"

House Speaker John Boehner made it official Thursday: Obamacare isn't going anywhere. In an interview with ABC News, Boehner seemed to suggest the election ended any efforts to wipe out the whole law. When "World News" anchor Diane Sawyer asked if there would be any more votes to repeal the law, Boehner said "the election changes that" and "Obamacare is the law of the land." He said, however, that some parts of the law should still be on the table when lawmakers start negotiating a deficit deal. Boehner's office quickly tried to walk back his comments within minutes after ABC News posted a story on the interview. "While Obamacare is the law of the land, it is costing us jobs and threatening our health care. Speaker Boehner and House Republicans remain committed to repealing the law, and he said in the interview it would be on the table," Boehner spokesman Kevin Smith said in a statement.
Boehner pushed back on Twitter, too: "ObamaCare is the law of the land, but it is raising costs and hurting #smallbiz. Our goal remains #fullrepeal." Boehner's office also released a transcript of that part of the interview, in which Boehner says: "I think there are parts of the healthcare law that are gonna be very difficult to implement. And very expensive. And [at] the time when we're tryin' to find a way to create a path toward a balanced budget everything has to be on the table." He adds: "There certainly may be parts of it that we believe need to be changed. We may do that. No decisions at this point." In a way, Boehner was just acknowledging the obvious: With President Barack Obama back in the White House for another four years, and the Senate still firmly in Democratic hands, a full repeal of the health care law is out of the question. Targeted repeal of unpopular parts of the law - or efforts to scale back some parts - might be a different story. But by declaring that "Obamacare is the law of the land," Boehner may have gone further to acknowledge a painful truth than many Republicans really would have liked. (POLITICO) Read more.
- Father God, may the mighty power of heaven pull down all lies and deception that Obamacare is the law of the land. This is a forgery and is contrary to the whole truth. God expose all under-the-table deals and bring utter confusion where deceit and corruption are involved. We trust the mighty power of God to hold all men to truthfulness, that it be recognized that the Obamacare package has been turned to sawdust in the hands of the living God." In the Name of Jesus.

- "That no man go beyond and defraud his broher in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us His Holy Spirit." ( I Thessalonians 4:6-8 )

9. ELECTION CONSEQUENCES: DECLINE OF DOCTOR-OWNED PRACTICES

With the re-election of Obama, the Affordable Care Act's regulations will continue to roll out through 2014.

There will be new rules for how the states and the federal government will run the new health insurance "exchanges." Insurance companies will have their rules regarding premiums they can charge and the customers they will be required to sign up, regardless of medical history. As for individual Americans, we will be required to present evidence of a "government-defined" health insurance plan to the IRS when we file our tax returns.

Doctors who own their own practices have the same costs as other small businesses: rent or mortgage, staff salaries and benefits, utilities, computers, equipment, furniture, etc. As small businesses that have suffered along with others under the first Obama administration, there is no reason yet to believe they won't suffer more under the second, particularly when Obama and the Democrats want to increase taxes on those who make $250,000 or more. For those health care providers who have practices with many employees, the issue of the ObamaCare employer mandate to provide health insurance for them is another factor of the decision regarding whether a practice is sustainable. [This is what Marxism looks like.] (Breitbart News) Read more.

- Almighty God, we cry out for Your mercy to take a major position in all the rhetoric in the new rules for the health care industry.  We call for God's hand to be in the midst of all this and stir up the words so there be no passage of these new regulations which would bring untold burdens upon the American people as a whole.  Pull back the fierceness of the federal government and hold them back that they be unable to go forward with these new rules.  In Jesus' Name.

  - "Clouds and darkness are round about God: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne.  A fire goes before Him, and burns up His enemies round about.  The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth."  (Psalm 97:2,3,5)

10. 25 PROBLEMS FACING OBAMA AND CONGRESS

A slew of thorny issues awaits Obama and Congress in the lame-duck session, ranging from taxes to defense to Medicare. Obama's disappointing victory increases the chances that the lame duck will be liberal leaning productive, but it remains to be seen if Obama and leaders on Capitol Hill can break the gridlock that has gripped the 112th Congress. The following are 25 policy matters most likely to be addressed in the coming weeks. (The Hill) Read the 25 policy issues here.

- Heavenly Father, we as a nation are is great need of Your grace and mercy concerning the gross mismanagement of Your most gracious blessings that You have granted us as a nation over the past years. Please intervene on behalf of those in this great country who place their trust in You on all things. You are our deliverer and our strong tower. In you we trust. Our money decrees this, but it is You who saves!

- "The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runs into it, and is safe." (Proverbs 18:10)

A Prophetic Word

THE TRUMPET by BILL BURNS

Have you noticed that the spiritual climate of your nation has changed, America? This is because the trauma of the election is over. For those who are disappointed with the results, you must now refocus, or a spirit of heaviness and dread will continue to pursue you. Here is the truth of the matter: You do not live spiritually in the kingdom of the world, which is under the rule of satan. You live in the Kingdom of Heaven. You are a citizen of the Kingdom of God, and you are living in a time when the kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our Lord.

Revelation 11:15 "Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
The national election is past, but I am now calling for a kingdom election. Just as the nation voted, so you must also vote. You must choose whom you will now serve.
Joshua 24:15 "And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
You are living in the end times, and all things will take place as it is written in My Word, says the Lord.
2 Peter 1:10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.
A Closing Thought . . .

A Closing Thought . . .

Life Inside the Ark

Dear Prayer Partners,

May I take a moment to share something I, too, experienced last week?

When I retired on Tuesday night, I was, quite frankly, disappointed at the results on the TV screen. But when I woke up the next morning . . . it was like someone had hit me over the head with a baseball bat! I really did not see this one coming . . .

That's when I knew it was time for a "time out!"
I took the rest of Wednesday doing special things for ME, all the while seeking the Lord for what He would speak to me to help me begin to make sense of this new reality.

When I finally got quiet enough so that I could hear our Lord, He spoke:

"I am allowing you to experience what Noah had to experience when he went inside the ark!"
And then . . . I GOT IT!

When Noah entered that ark and closed the door behind him, the rains began, the floods came, the ark was bouncing around in those waters, and nothing seemed to be secure! He also had no idea what lie ahead . . .

And so Noah had to do three things in order to survive:

- Wait

- Pray

- Trust God!

You see, Noah did not know what we know now -- that there would be an end to his ordeal, and at the appointed time his journey would cease. He did not know he would remain inside that ark for 40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS. He did not even know if he would survive!
But in the end (and there WAS an end!). the dove of the Holy Spirit (representing God's kingdom on earth) met Noah, bringing the promise of a new day and carrying an olive branch as a sign. The peace of God.
"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. . . Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end . . ." (Isaiah 9:6a,7)
And finally, the ark rested safely on dry land, and Noah and his family began anew.
So now, I too am doing as Noah did:

- Waiting

- Praying

- Trusting

And I welcome each one of you to join me inside the Ark.

WELCOME ABOARD!!
