This week, for all the headlines cited below, please join us in proclaiming THIS DECREE:

"He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:11)

1. Baby killed as car rams crowd in Jerusalem terror attack -Times of Israel

A three-month-old girl was killed Wednesday afternoon and eight others were injured when a car crashed into a crowd at a light rail station in Jerusalem in what officials said was a terrorist attack.

The suspect, identified by an Israeli official as a member of terror group Hamas, attempted to flee the scene on foot and was shot and badly hurt by police, a police spokesperson said. (Read more)

- Abba, we pray for comfort for the family of this baby girl. We ask that You fill them with peace that passes understanding and help them during this time. We pray that this will not cause an escalating, retaliating action. Father, we praise You, even in the storms. Help those who have a hard time finding joy to praise You when so many bad things happen in this world. Give us the endurance to live out Your plans for us in these days that get more difficult as time passes. Help us, Father, to fight the good fight until the end and not be discouraged. We thank You that You are our portion. You are our Provider, Comforter, Healer, Wise Counsel; You are our everything. In the name of Yeshuah we pray, amen.

- "Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that you are thereunto called, that you should inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:9)

2. IDF: Fire on Egypt border was 'violent drug-smuggling attempt' -Times of Israel

A shootout on the border with Egypt that left two Israelis soldiers wounded Wednesday was a confontation with drug smugglers, the IDF said Wednesday evening, correcting earlier reports that it had been an attack by Islamist militants.

A preliminary investigation into the cross-border incident, conducted in coordination with the Egyptian army, showed that the suspects opened fire at Israeli troops who had identified the suspicious figures approaching the border.

The army said in a statement it was a "violent drug-smuggling attempt," foiled by the army unit commander. (Read more)

3. PA official warns of consequences if US vetoes UN bid -Times of Israel

Top Palestinian Authority official Saeb Erekat has threatened that if the US vetoed the PA's bid to gain a United Nations-backed timetable for an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank, they would apply for membership in hundreds of international bodies as citizens of an occupied state in its own right.

Erekat wrote in a position paper released Tuesday that the Palestinians would seek to join some 522 organizations, protocols, and treaties, a move aimed at gaining further recognition for a Palestinian state. PA President Mahmoud Abbas, as the leader of "the occupied Palestinian state," would then demand that Israel fulfill all its obligations as an occupying power, Erekat added, hinting that the PA itself would cease to function as an administrative body, leaving Israel to pick up the slack. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for our US leaders. We pray for wisdom in all their decisions. Lord, we pray that they never turn their backs on Israel. Father, no matter what threat man may give, let them always seek Your righteousness and truth. Let them not be afraid of man. In the name of Yeshuah we pray, amen.

- "But if you shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries." (Exodus 23:22)

4. Irish parliament calls on government to recognize Palestine -Times of Israel

The Upper House of Ireland's parliament on Wednesday passed a motion calling on the government to recognize a Palestinian state, making it the third European country in less than a month to throw its weight behind Ramallah's unilateral statehood bid.

The motion, proposed by a senator from the country's main opposition party, was passed without a vote, as it had received backing from a majority of lawmakers before the discussion. (Read more)

- Father, another country turns their back on Israel. Father, we pray for their eyes to be opened. We put our trust in You, Father, to do what You have to do. In the name of Yeshuah, amen.

- "I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land." (Joel 3:2)

5. Abbas toughens law against Palestinians selling land to Jews -Times of Israel

Reacting to a number of high profile sales of Palestinian homes to Jewish organizations in East Jerusalem, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has toughened the penalty for citizens selling property to Israelis.

According to the official Palestinian Wafa news agency, Abbas on Monday imposed a sentence of hard labor for life on "anyone diverting, renting or selling land to an enemy state or one of its subjects."

Jordan's penal code number 16 article 114, applicable in the Palestinian territories, previously subscribed "temporary hard labor" to perpetrators of the crime." (Read more)

6. Kerry: Current relations between Israel, Palestinians 'unsustainable' - Jerusalem Post

US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday that current relations between Israel and the Palestinians were "unsustainable" and that the United States was conscious of the urgency of the situation.

"The current situation, the status quo, is unsustainable," he said at a joint news conference with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Berlin.

He added that it was necessary to find a way to negotiate and said the US would continue with these efforts: "Obviously we understand the urgency of it," he said. (Read more)

- Father, for so many years nations have tried to facilitate peace talks between Palestine and Israel. Father, because they are not obeying Your Word and seeking Your will they are never successful. Today we pray that You facilitate peace for Israel according to Your will. You are a righteous and fair judge. You are a patient and loving God.

We repent of turning our backs on You and placing false idols in Your place. Father, please forgive us. We unite in prayer for our government and pray for revival fire to fall on them! We pray that each and every one of our senators, congressmen, judges, the president, and all our leaders feel the fire of revival in their souls so that they seek You in all they do. Father, be with John Kerry as he works with both Israel and Palestinian leaders. Guide him so that he does Your will. We pray these things in the holy name of Yeshuah, amen.

The Daily Jot

Canada sees peace of Islam first hand

The turmoil the past few days in Canada should be a warning to all of us on the North American continent about the peace of Islam. Imam's spewing hatred and death from their so-called "religious freedom-protected" mosques are inspiring deadly converts and attacks on the peace-loving. Islam is neither a religion nor peaceful and even those who seem peaceful now will someday have a choice to submit or die, and if they submit, it doesn't bode well for Christians and Jews. A May 2013 survey by The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life found that over 75% of the world's Muslims want Sharia to be "the official law of the land." This means that Muslims agree that Islam should be the only legal religion.

Pew reported: "The survey - which involved more than 38,000 face-to-face interviews in 80-plus languages with Muslims across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa - shows that Muslims tend to be most comfortable with using sharia in the domestic sphere, to settle family or property disputes." Of the nations specifically mentioned in the Bible that come against Israel in the Day of the Lord, only Turkey currently does not have a majority of Muslims who believe Sharia should be the law of the land. Iraq (91%), the so-called Palestinian Territories (89%), Jordan (71%), Ethiopia (65%), Libya, and Iran were not surveyed, but already have Sharia as the law of the land. This is incompatible with any form of democracy or freedom.

Turkey is fast moving toward Sharia. For example, 62% of the respondents in Turkey believe that Islamic parties are better or the same as other political parties. Only about 22% of Muslims in these areas were worried about Muslim extremists. 40% of Palestinian Muslims believe suicide bombings are justified. Turkey and Jordan are next at 15%. Ezekiel 38 and 39 speaks of a tremendous end time battle where these Islamic nations come against Israel. Verse 38:12 says, "To take a spoil, and to take a prey (enslave them); to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and unto the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods that dwell in the midst of the land."

Many believe that this Gog spoken of is the Beast, the antichrist, because it is the Day of the Lord mentioned by all the prophets. Ezekiel 39:8 says, "Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken." 38:17 possibly identifies Gog as the Beast: "Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring you against them?" The nations surveyed by Pew that comprise the Gog coalition against Israel are among the most radical Islamic states in modern times. As the Islamic State grows stronger, its sphere increases and Canadians and Americans may no longer view from afar the true peace of Islam.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Good News Corner:

MPs offer thanks as Parliament returns

There was spirit of gratitude and camaraderie as members of Parliament returned to work in the House of Commons Thursday, one day after a lone gunman killed a reservist and stormed Centre Block, sparking an hours-long lockdown.

Following a minute of silence, Prime Minister Stephen Harper crossed the floor to embrace Liberal leader Justin Trudeau and Opposition leader Thomas Mulcair. He then read a statement expressing thanks to the bravery of the House of Commons security staff, and vowing that Canada wouldn't be daunted by Wednesday's attacks.

"We will not be intimidated. We will be vigilant, but we will not run scared. We will be prudent, but we will not panic. Here we are, in our seats, in our chamber in the very heart of Canadian democracy, and the work is going on," he said.

Before the prime minister spoke, Sergeant-at-Arms Kevin Vickers, the man credited with shooting the gunman, was given a rousing standing ovation as he carried the mace and led a ceremonial parade into the chamber. He was greeted with enthusiastic and extended applause from MPs.

Vickers, who served 29 years with the RCMP before becoming sergeant-at-arms eight years ago, remained mostly stoical through the applause. At times, he appeared close to tears, eventually acknowledging MPs with several nods of thanks, and smiling when Harper came over to shake his hand.

Vickers has been hailed a hero for stopping the gunman who entered Centre Block Wednesday morning after fatally shooting a reservist at the National War Memorial just minutes before. The reservist, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo, was killed in the attack as he stood guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Security remains tight around the memorial and Parliament, as MPs and staffers return to work. The Parliament grounds remain closed to visitors, as are the streets around the war memorial.

Earth's magnetic field could flip in our lifetime

The Earth's magnetic field is in a weakening stage right now. Data collected this summer by a European Space Agency (ESA) satellite suggests the field is weakening 10 times faster than scientists originally thought. They predicted a flip could come within the next couple thousand years. It turns out that might be a very liberal estimate, scientists now say. (Fox News) Read more.

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
