1. Idaho Residents Fight to Close Refugee Center Importing Syrian Muslims, Possible Terrorists - Breitbart

ALMON, Idaho (Reuters) - A long-standing refugee welcoming center in conservative Idaho has found itself at the center of a campaign by adversaries seeking to force it closed, citing fears that the immigrants it hosts could include Islamist extremists.

The backlash comes amid an uptick in anti-Islamic protests and advertising campaigns in the United States, including a high profile May rally outside an Arizona mosque that saw more than 200 protesters, some armed, berate Islam and Mohammad.

The newly formed Idaho group, whose 100 members plan a door-to-door information drive in July to win support for closing the refugee center in Twin Falls, said it was concerned the center will welcome Syrians displaced from that country's civil war who may not have been adequately screened by the U.S. government for security risks. Websites affiliated with Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad praised the recent spike in terrorist attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and encouraged further violence, the Middle East Monitoring and Research Service (MEMRI) reports.

The websites emphasized the connection between Ramadan and rising attacks targeting Israelis, describing a stronger motivation to sacrifice one's life during the holiday. (Read more)

The Middle East in Focus

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the LORD, who has compassion on you." (Isaiah 54:10)

1. Pope Francis to be Tried by Sanhedrin - Breaking Israel News

A re-established and self declared Israeli Sanhedrin, the religious High Court composed of 71 sages, has declared that it is putting Pope Francis on trial unless he retracts his statement that the Jews have no right to the land of Israel or to Jerusalem. In February 2013, the Vatican officially recognized the "State of Palestine" but more significantly, the Vatican signed a treaty in June with "Palestine" in which the Holy See switched its diplomatic relations from the Palestinian Liberation Organization to the "State of Palestine." This treaty is the first legal document negotiated between the Holy See and the Palestinian state and as such, constitutes an official recognition. (Read more)

- Father, we thank You that this Pope is going to be held accountable for his actions, even in this court in Israel. May he heed carefully the verdict that will be rendered, and may the Vatican choose a new path in its relations with the nation of Israel, to be a true friend to Zion and not its foe. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ/Yeshua, our Lord, amen and amen.

- "Ho, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon." 8For thus says the LORD of hosts, "After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye. 9"For behold, I will wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me . . ." (Zechariah 2:7-9)

2. EU official who negotiated on UN Gaza resolution is married to UN inquiry team member - Times of Israel

European Union official involved in negotiating on behalf of the EU over the text of Friday's UN Human Rights Council resolution that condemned Israel for last summer's Gaza War is married to a staff member of the UNHRC commission that investigated the war.

The link between EU policy officer Jérôme Bellion-Jourdan, who was tasked with reviewing the Gaza war report and helping advise EU representatives on how to vote on it, and McGowan Davis Commission staffer Sara Hamood was known to the EU but not made public.

David Harris, the head of the American Jewish Committee, protested what he called a "conflict of interest." Harris told The Times of Israel on Monday that he took particular exception to the failure of the EU to disclose the marital connection between one of its key officials involved in dealing with the UNHRC report and a UNHRC staffer who worked for the commission. 3. UNESCO set to condemn Israel for 'endangering' Jerusalem's Old City - Times of Israel

Israel has slammed a looming decision on Jerusalem by the UN's educational and cultural agency, saying it ignores Jewish and Christian ties to the biblical city.

Arab states Algeria, Lebanon and Qatar submitted a resolution this week to UNESCO's World Heritage Committee that excoriates Israel for "the persistence of the illegal excavations and works conducted by the Israeli occupation authorities and the extreme settler groups in the Old City of Jerusalem and on both sides of its walls." 4. Sisi: Israel-PA Peace Will Make the Region Safer - Israel National News

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on Monday said that a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) would make the Middle East safer.

Sisi's comments came in a meeting with a delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), the Arab Today news website reported.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, the delegation offered condolences to the president over the victims of recent terror attacks in North Sinai, stressing support for the Egyptian people against terrorism, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said. 5. Hamas, Fatah exchange threats after wave of arrests -YNET News

The Palestinian Authority has arrested 170 Hamas men in the West Bank over the past few days, a Palestinian security source told Ynet on Monday, leading to threats from the Gaza terror organization.

The Palestinian source said the arrests were done in connection with the series of shooting attacks against Israelis in the Binyamin area over the past two weeks that claimed the lives of Malachi Rosenfeld and Danny Gonen.

According to the source, there is evidence pointing to Hamas being behind the series of attacks, which also included a shooting at a Maden David Adom ambulance that ended with no casualties. (Read more)

6. Abbas Calls on Palestinians to Embrace 'Spirit, Values and Wisdom' of Intifada - Algemeiner

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called on Palestinians to embrace the "spirit, values and wisdom" of the first Palestinian intifada, which lasted for four years from 1987 to 1991, Palestinian Ma'an News Agency reported on Sunday.

Speaking to members of the Popular Struggle Coordination Committee at his Ramallah Mukataa government compound, Abbas lauded the intifada for ultimately empowering the Palestinians to enter the Madrid Conference of 1991, as well as the negotiations that spawned the Oslo Accords. (Read more)

7. 'We're Just Waiting for the Next Round with Gaza' - Israel National News

The Knesset held a special full plenum session on Tuesday afternoon marking a year since the end of Operation Protective Edge in Gaza; a year later, the politicians were still divided as to what Israel's stance vis-a-vis the Hamas enclave should be, but were unified in calling for a new policy.

MK Haim Yellin (Yesh Atid), who was head of the hard-hit Eshkol Regional Council during the war, sharply criticized the coalition government for not finding a political solution regarding Gaza.

"A year has passed and there is still no hope, we are waiting for the next round," said Yellin. "Nothing changed, and nothing will change as long as the prime minister thinks that there is no solution and we need to continue to manage the conflict." (Read more)

8. PA Foreign Minister Claims France Dropped UN Peace Talks Bid - Israel National News

The Palestinian Authority's (PA) Foreign Minister Riad al-Malki said Tuesday that a French diplomatic bid to advance a United Nations resolution to restart the peace process between Israel and the PA has been abandoned by France, Haaretz reports.

However, senior PA officials in Ramallah later told the newspaper that al-Malki's comments were not entirely accurate, and were based more on his analysis of the updates he had received on the matter than on information from an official decision by Paris. (Read more)

1. WH Welcomes 'Historic' First-Ever Visit by Vietnam's Communist Party Boss - CNSNews.com

Nguyen Phu Trong, the 71 year-old general-secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, is due to meet with Obama at the White House on Tuesday. Vietnamese presidents (incumbent Truong Tan Sang and his predecessor, Nguyen Minh Triet) and prime ministers (incumbent Nguyen Tan Dung and his predecessor, Phan Van Khai) have visited over the past decade, but the 20th anniversary of the re-establishment of ties is being marked by a first-ever visit by the Communist Party boss.

"That will be an historic meeting, where the president will meet with the general-secretary in the context of the 20th anniversary of normalizing our bilateral relations," White House press secretary Josh Earnest said on Monday. "The two men will discuss how we can further advance our cooperation as envisioned by the Comprehensive Partnership that was signed in 2013," he said. (Read more)

- Abba Father, we bring this meeting to Your attention and humbly ask that You give wisdom to the Obama administration in figuring out how to deepen the current diplomatic relationship - with an unelected regime - while pursuing an agenda that's in the long term interests of both the American and Vietnamese people. Lord God, in these negotiations, please help our president to remember that we are not a communist nation, and to deal wisely with one that is . . . not to be taken in by their own cunning words. Abba, we plead for those in Viet Nam that worship You hidden from the eyes of the Vietnamese government. Protect them and give them boldness to proclaim Your word. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- "And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence . . ." (Acts 4:29)

2. Rev. Graham on Gay Marriage Ruling: 'This Court is Endorsing Sin . . . God's Judgment Will Come on This Nation' - CNSNews.com

The Supreme Court ruling (5-4) that homosexual "marriage" is a constitutional right, means that our government is "endorsing sin" because homosexual acts are "a sin against God," said Rev. Franklin Graham, who added that "God is going to judge sin one day" and that His "judgment will come on this nation."

Rev. Graham, who is the son of evangelist Billy Graham, also said he does not wish gay couples ill but wants them to know the truth, that "they are living a sinful life" and one day unrepentant sinners will be "separated from [God] in a place the Bible calls Hell." (Read more)

-Abba Father, we stand in the gap for our Supreme Court and our country and repent of the sin of legalizing sodomy. In Genesis, You tell us that You made them man and woman that they should become one flesh. Jesus Christ as quoted in Matthew 19:4-6 reiterated this message. Man and woman...the two shall become one flesh. Abba, have mercy on this nation that is not worthy of Your mercy. We have lost our moral compass and turned away from our Christian roots. Please forgive us, and give Your church boldness to stand firm in this dark time. In His Name we pray, Amen.

- "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." (Galatians 6:7)

3. The fight for marriage might not be over - Faith2Action

Supreme Court Rule 44 allows a party to file a Motion for Rehearing within 25 days of the June 26 hearing. In an alert from Janet Porter and Faith 2 Action they are asking Attorney General of the state of Ohio to file a Motion for Rehearing the marriage case on the grounds that two of the justices violated federal law by not recusing themselves. The Justices were not impartial to the case, as required.

Justice Elena Kagan and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had officiated homosexual "weddings" prior to the marriage ruling, publically supporting it. The marriage ruling should legally be 4-3 FOR marriage, not 5-4 against it. [See article below for more information on this blessed turn of events!]

- Lord God, the more we look into the devastating fallout of this ruling, the more appalled we are. Lord God, in this 25-day window, when the Court may "reconsider" this decision, we ask for Your hand of intervention to rest MIGHTILY upon the heart of every Supreme Court justice, and to give them no rest until they reverse this decision. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus." (2 Thessalonians 1:8)

4. (Opinion) Ending Tax Exemptions Means Ending Churches - The Federalist

A call for ending tax exemptions for churches and religious institutions is a call to close them down-or at least to plunder them of their property.

Mark Oppenheimer of The New York Times is now calling for the government to remove tax-exempt status from churches. After I posted a link to his article on Facebook, a pastor friend commented: "I'm not sure our small church could survive." That, my friends, is the point. And Oppenheimer knows it.

Legal gay marriage is not the endgame for the gay-rights movement. It never was. Moral approval is the endgame. The agenda is not tolerance for different beliefs and lifestyles. The agenda is a demand that everyone get on board with the moral revolution or be punished. That means if you or your church won't get with the program, then the revolutionaries will endeavor to close you down.

But they aren't going to say,"We'll close you down," in so many words. They will cover it in propaganda that conceals their real aim. They'll say, as Oppenheimer does, that taxpayers are "subsidizing" churches, that ministers make fat-cat six-figure salaries, and that government should get those rich priests and preachers off the government dole. (Read entire article here.)

- Father God, we cry out to You to rescue our people from this horrible ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court. Come, Lord, Jesus, we pray. We humble ourselves before Your Throne of Grace, in repentance, and we ask for grace to help in time of need. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen and amen.

- "In my trouble I cried to the LORD, And He answered me." (Psalm 120:1)

5. Russia claims to have developed secret 'superweapon' capable of switching off foreign satellites and enemy weapons - TheDailyMail UK

Russia has claimed to have built a revolutionary new weapon system that can render enemy satellites and weapons useless. Its Russian makers say it is a 'fundamentally new electronic warfare system' which can be mounted on ground-based as well as air- and sea-borne carriers. However, it has refused to reveal how the system works. (Read more)

- Abba Father, the race goes on to see who can "out shoot whom" first! This world needs You Lord. We are desperate for You. We thank You that the weapons of our warfare are against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. We also thank You that no weapon formed against us can triumph. You are our protection, and we humbly ask that You do not lift Your hand of protection off of us. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper And from the deadly pestilence. (Psalm 91:1-3)

6. Saudi Arabia to invest record $10bn in Russia - rt.com

The Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia in partnership with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) has agreed to invest $10 billion into Russian projects. It is the largest foreign investment in Russia. "We have reached final agreements and are announcing the creation of a partnership with the sovereign fund of Saudi Arabia, under which PIF will invest $10 billion into projects on Russian territory. These funds are expected to be implemented within 4-5 years," said the head of RDIF Kirill Dmitriev, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday. (Read more)

-Abba Father, it looks like the USAis being kept out of the game plan. Our stand in the family of nations has deteriorated. We are no longer the leaders in the world. Our allies the Saudis have turned from us to Russia. The Russians and the Saudis are morally on the same page. Neither condones sodomy. We ask that if this partnership is not for Your glory, that it would come to naught. In His Name, we pray. Amen - (Against the U.S.) "The expression of their faces bears witness against them,
And they display their sin like Sodom;
They do not even conceal it.
Woe to them!
For they have brought evil on themselves."
(Isaiah 3:9)

7. Downsizing Defense: US Army to cut over 40,000 troops by the end of 2017 - Fox News

The U.S. Army is planning to cut more than 40,000 troops over the next two years, a senior U.S. defense official confirmed to Fox News Tuesday. General Martin Dempsey announced at a Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing Tuesday that dwindling resources was a major factor in the decision to cut the number of active troops from 490,000 to 450,000.

In addition to the troop cuts, 17,000 Army civilian employees will be laid off in a plan that is to be formally announced on Thursday.

The announcement comes just one day after President Obama said there were "no current plans" to send more troops to Iraq to fight Islamic State, although he did not rule out the possibility in the future. (Read more)

- Lord God, we come before You on behalf of the military families who will be looking for new employment due to this drastic measure. We ask You to meet their needs, even when the unemployment rate in our nation is now so high. Abba, for those who will remain in the military, we ask for a "double measure" of strength for them, wherever they are deployed. Lord Jesus, help us all, we pray, amen and amen.

- "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:19)

8. Obama says US 'intensifying' anti-IS efforts in Syria - AFP

President Barack Obama said Monday the US-led coalition battling Islamic State jihadists was "intensifying" its campaign against the group's base in Syria, but cautioned the fight would be long. Obama addressed the media after a briefing at the Pentagon with top military brass and members of his national security team on efforts to dismantle the jihadist group, which has taken over large swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria.

"We're intensifying our efforts against ISIL's base in Syria. Our air strikes will continue to target the oil and gas facilities that fund so much of their operations," Obama told reporters, using a common acronym for the Islamic State group. "We're going after the ISIL leadership and infrastructure in Syria, the heart of ISIL that pumps funds and propaganda to people around the world." (Read more)

- Abba Father, we pray that our military will be victorious over ISIS. We also ask that the Iraqis want to defeat of ISIS as passionately as ISIS wants to establish a caliphate in Iraq. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

- "He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation, And will whistle for it from the ends of the earth; And behold, it will come with speed swiftly. No one in it is weary or stumbles, None slumbers or sleeps; Nor is the belt at its waist undone. Nor its sandal strap broken. Its arrows are sharp, and all its bows are bent; The hoofs of its horses seem like flint, and its chariot wheels like a whirlwind." (Isaiah 5:26-28)

9. US leaving Israel in the dark on Iran talks, say Israeli officials - Times of Israel

The American negotiating team at the Iran nuclear talks in Vienna has not updated Israel on developments in the talks in nearly two weeks, Israeli and American officials agreed Tuesday.

The officials did not agree on the reasons for the failure, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported.

In a briefing to reporters in Vienna, senior American officials said that Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman, who has led the Iran talks for the US, tried to contact Israel's National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen three times over the past ten days, but scheduling conflicts prevented the calls from going through.

A senior official in Israel's Prime Minister's Office confirmed that the last update from Sherman took place 12 days ago, but insisted, "we have not declined any offers for further updates." (Read more)

- Father God, on the one hand, Obama claims to be a friend of Israel, but on the other hand, his actions and that of his administration show the opposite picture, and the truth. Lord God, we stand in the gap as Your people in our land, and we ask forgiveness for the blindness of our leaders against Israel. We repent for these actions, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "Ye shall know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:16)

10. NYSE repoens after trading stopped amid United Airlines, WSJ.com tech issues - Fox News

Trading was halted for more than two hours on the New York Stock Exchange floor Wednesday after an internal technical issue was detected - which then set off speculation that a cyber-glitch at United Airlines and a temporary online outage at the Wall Street Journal newspaper were connected.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said President Obama had been briefed on the glitch that took out trading on the floor of the NYSE by White House counterterrorism and homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco and chief of staff Denis McDonough.

He also said despite indications that it was not a cyber-breach, the administration was "keenly aware of the risk that exists in cyber space right now."

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson tried to allay fears, saying, "It appears from what we know at this stage that the malfunctions at United and at the stock exchange were not the result of any nefarious actor." He added, "We know less about the Wall Street Journal at this point except that their system is back up again as is the United Airline system." (Read more)

- Lord God, we suspect that there is more today's episode on Wall Street, at United Airlines, and at the Wall Street Journal than meets the eye. As the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security continue to pursue the causes of these "glitches," we ask that You would go ahead of them, revealing all the needs to be revealed. We ask this in repentance for our national sins and in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen and amen.

- "For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light." (Mark 4:22)

Standing on the Word of God

There are a lot of bad things going on in the world-the Islamic State, the lack of jobs, politicians releasing criminals that kill steal and destroy lives, the underhanded dealings of the IRS, government spying, giving Iran nuclear capability, changing marriage--it all seems overwhelming. The next problem is bigger than the one before, and they seem to be building on one another far faster than we can mentally process them. There are those who predict the end of America. Others say judgment has come. Still others are oblivious to anything but their daily schedule. But they all feel the frustration. It is like a demonic spirit that has engulfed our nation and is strangling its good sense. In this time, remember who you are.

If you are a follower of Christ, the Messiah, then you know his promise. The entire Bible is given to us as the word of God, as is Jesus Christ. In Christ is our salvation and in the Bible is instruction on how we are to work out our salvation here on earth. Jesus said in Matthew 10:28, "And fear not them who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." The promise of eternal life, knowing the end game so to speak, should give us all the confidence to speak boldly as we ought to speak and having done all, to stand. Jesus said in Matthew 24:6 that ...see that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

Isaiah 54:17 says, "No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD." Likewise, Isaiah 33:14-16 says, "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that keeps his hands from the holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the fortresses of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure."

As the LORD says, your heritage--your prophetic place--is in his righteousness and it is you who shall have a place of defense in the fortress of rocks, dwelling on high with bread and water. Do not be overwhelmed by the things of this world. As Paul said in Romans 12:21, "Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Let's not sit around wringing our hands over the unrighteous, but rather seize our place in the righteousness of the LORD. You don't have to be enslaved by oppression--it has no authority over you. So stand in that gap. Be that royal priesthood. Obey God rather than man for the night is far spent and the day is at hand. Cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light and let your light so shine.

Have A Blessed And Powerful Day,

The unbiblical illegal problem

The "president's" refusal to secure the border and to enforce immigration laws is causing crime rates to soar, according to the federal government's US Sentencing Commission. Breitbart reports that the US Sentencing Commission has released data indicating that while illegal immigrants account for about 3.5 percent of the US population, they represented 36.7 percent of federal sentences in FY 2014 following criminal convictions. Meanwhile, the Department of Health and Human Services, the anchor of socialist healthcare, is escorting 9 of 10, 90%, of illegal minors crossing the border to relatives or friends of family in the US, some of which may also be living in the country illegally.

According to FY 2014 USSC data, of 74,911 sentencing cases, citizens accounted for 43,479 (or 58.0%), illegal immigrants accounted for 27,505 (or 36.7%), legal immigrants made up 3,017 (or 4.0%), and the remainder (about 1%) were cases in which the offender was either extradited or had an unknown status. Illegal immigrants represented 16.8% of drug trafficking cases, 20.0% of kidnapping/hostage taking, 74.1% of drug possession, 12.3% of money laundering, and 12.0% of murder convictions. These statistics underscore that the alleged murder of a San Francisco woman by an illegal alien with a criminal record is no isolated incident, but exacerbated by government refusal to enforce immigration laws.

The Washington Post reported in August 2013 that Justice Department statistics indicate the cost of incarceration in the US was $80 billion in 2010. The US population increased by about a third since 1980, but the federal prison population has grown by about 800 percent. Interesting that these statistics track with 2009 criminal illegal aliens in federal prisons increasing 7 percent since 2005 and a 35 percent increase in state and local jails since 2003. GAO estimates that illegal aliens had an average of 7 arrests, primarily for immigration and drug offenses, costing $1.6 billion a year from 2005 through 2009 (latest statistics available).

Numbers 9:14 says, "You shall have one ordinance (statute), both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land." While we seek to treat others as we would like to be treated, there is this matter of the law. If someone enters this country illegally, they are breaking the law. Their first act here is as a criminal, but it doesn't stop there. There appears to be little regard of any law of the nation, including voting illegally. There is no "right" of citizenship. There is a legal path to becoming a citizen, which includes an oath to obey the laws. The problem, however, is not just illegal alien criminals, it is the politicians who are allowing two ordinances--one for the law abiding citizen and another for the illegal immigrant.

SCOTUS: Urgent call to action!

SCOTUS: Urgent call to action!

25 day window allows opportunity for the court to "Reconsider" its ruling!

The fight for marriage might not be over. But it will take action.

What if we could fight this ruling and actually WIN? We will never know unless we try. Western civilization, marriage, our right to vote, and our freedom of speech and religion are worth the effort.

Every phone call matters. Give the office representative your name, when they ask for your address tell them you are calling to ask if, and express the importance of, the Attorney General filing the Motion for Rehearing to the Supreme Court on the marriage case. They are logging every phone call as public record. Will you make the call? Will you join us?

HERE ARE THE FACTS:

Beyond officiating at homosexual ceremonies, Justice Ginsburg also publicly stated that she believes same-sex marriage is a constitutional right. Sounds like someone who has made up her mind before considering a case, doesn't it? Here's what the law says:

"Any justice, judge, or magistrate judge of the United States shall disqualify himself in any proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned." --28 U.S. Code § 455 - Disqualification of justice, judge, or magistrate judge

The 5-4 Decision is Really a 4-3 Decision to uphold Real Marriage Supreme Court Rule 44 allows a party to file a motion for rehearing within 25 days of the June 26 hearing. That means if Ohio Health Director Rick Hodges, who is named in the case, Ohio Governor John Kasich, his boss, or Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine files a motion in the next few days, the case can be reheard.
The dissenting justices didn't want to risk antagonizing the Justices before the April oral arguments, but there is no reason to ignore this now. If you read the dissenting opinions, they are scathing--Justice Scalia calls the decision a "threat to American Democracy" and he is right. Now there is something you can do about it.

Call the numbers below and simply ask:
Q: Are you going to file a motion for rehearing the marriage ruling since Justices Ginsburg and Kagan violated Federal law by not recusing themselves?

If the answer is "I will pass that along," or "I don't know," ask to speak to a supervisor. Time is short, and we need an answer.

Attorney General Mike DeWine: 800-282-0515 Ohio Director Rick Hodges: 614-644-8562 His Legal Counsel: Lance.Himes@odh.ohio.gov Governor John Kasich: 614-466-3555

he Indo-Malaysia Room in the House of Islam extends from the Malay Peninsula through the Indonesian archipelago and into the surrounding nations of Singapore, Brunei, the Philippines, and southern Thailand. It is home to more than 200 million Muslims. Today's multiple movements of Muslims to Christ began in 1870 with the ministry of one Muslim-background believer in Indonesia called Sadrach Surapranata.

By 1873, Sadrach had seen more than 2,500 Javanese Muslims turn from Islam to faith in Jesus Christ, something no Christian had witnessed in the 1,238 years since the death of the Prophet Muhammad. By the time of his death in 1924, the number of Indonesian Muslim-background believers was estimated at 10-20,000 baptised Christians.
Muslim movements to Christ in this region fall into three distinct waves. The first was Sadrach's pioneering breakthrough. The second occurred from 1967-1971, when an attempted communist coup led to the violent suppression of communism, and all Indonesians were required to declare allegiance to one of the nation's five accepted religions - Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism or Protestantism. Some half a million Indonesians were killed by vigilante Islamic forces, leading some 2.8 million Indonesians to join the Protestant faith, perhaps the largest turning of Muslims to Christ in history.
The third wave is happening right now. The growth of the Church in Indonesia today continues in a less dramatic, but equally pervasive manner. In the Indo-Malaysia Room, more and more Muslims are hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ today through their native tongues and responding to the love of Jesus Christ. Breakthroughs are occurring through innovations in the presentation of the gospel, bold contextualised gospel witness, and the faithful witness of local Christians that now extends into every corner of this crowded Room in the House of Islam.
How can we pray?

Pray that the gospel will continue to reach into every corner in the Indo- Malaysian Room.

Pray for Muslims coming to faith in Christ as they endure persecution and make a bold stand for Jesus Christ.

Pray for Christians and missionaries whose courage and innovation continue to reach out to the region's 282 Muslim people groups.

A Verse to Decree:

"And the gospel must first be preached to all nations." (Mark 13:10)

Our Grandmothers' Songs

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

TEACH ME THY WAY, O LORD

"Teach me Thy way, O Lord." (Psalm 86:11)

Lyrics:

Teach me Thy way, O Lord,
Teach me Thy way;
Thy gracious aid afford,
Teach me Thy way.
Help me to walk aright;
More by faith, less by sight;
Lead me with heav'nly light,
Teach me Thy way.

When doubts and fears arise,
Teach me Thy way;
When storms o'erspread the skies,
Teach me Thy way.
Shine through the cloud and rain,
Through sorrow, toil, and pain;
Make Thou my pathway plain,
Teach me Thy way.

long as my life shall last,
Teach me Thy way;
Where'er my lot be cast,
Teach me Thy way.
Until the race is run,
Until the journey's done,
Until the crown is won,
Teach me Thy way.

Signs and Wonders

Leading Israeli Rabbi Says the Arrival of the Messiah is Imminent

When asked about the timing of the Messiah's arrival, Rabbi Kanievsky answered, "At the end of the Sabbatical year." Several people have asked the Rabbi to verify this and he has given the same answer each time. This year is the Sabbatical year and it will be ending on the 29th day of Elul, which, by the Gregorian calendar falls on Saturday, September 12, 2015. (Breaking Christian News) Read more.

"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25)

The Good News Corner

Islamic Theologian Who Taught ISIS Fighters Asks for Bible After Growing "Sick of the Killing"

"At this prayer conference I was at in Egypt, we were told about a prophetic word that had been given at another conference which resonated with us, which said that 'I have another Saul on the road to Damascus (the capital of Syria), and I have an Ananias and a Barnabas ready and I intend to raise up apostolic figures out of these fighters . . .' We need to pray for God to call forth those apostolic figures out of ISIS." -"Julian," Middle East missionary

(Saudi Arabia)-Voice of the Martyrs radio host Todd Nettleton has interviewed a missionary, known only as "Julian," who shared the following incredible "God" story from Lebanon.

"There was a taxi driver," said Julian, "who was a Believer up at the border with Syria, and into his taxi gets this guy with a big beard. The guy with the beard says, 'Take me to the airport, I'm flying home to Saudi [Arabia]. But on the way, I want to find a Bible. Can you find me a Bible?"

When the taxi driver asked why, the Saudi replied, "I'm from Saudi. I'm a sheikh (which means a teacher of Islam). I've been in Syria teaching the ISIS fighters 'Jihad 101' . . . I'm sick of the killing. There must be something better than this."

The Christian missionary, introduced as just "Julian" during a recent interview on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio program, believes "ISIS is being used to reveal something of the dark heart of Islam."
"As I say that I feel a bit reticent because I know that many, many Muslims want to distance themselves and are embarrassed by it and are great people," Julian added. "And we should not see our Muslim neighbors as terrorists ... but as neighbors who want to be a regular part of the community. But nevertheless, some of this evil stuff is being exposed as never before." (Christian Post) Read more here.
