GOD SENDS A SIGN OF LIFE IN THE SKIES OVER ISRAEL

Amazing. Above Israel, "Chai" shines -- the Hebrew symbol of life!

1. PM orders barriers at bus stops across Jerusalem after attack - Times of Israel

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday ordered the installation of concrete safety barriers at hundreds of Jerusalem's bus stops to protect civilians from terror attacks. The move came hours after a car-ramming terror attack that injured 14 Israelis.

Netanyahu consulted with Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan.

The plan, proposed by Barkat, will see protective posts designed to prevent car-rammings temporarily installed at bus stops throughout the capital, focusing on areas where there is the greatest risk of attacks.

3. Netanyahu: Israel takes care of all its citizens, without exception- Israel Hayom

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shed a bit of light on the recent prisoner exchange that saw Israeli citizen Ouda Tarabin released from an Egyptian prison and returned to Israel after a 15-year incarceration.

Speaking at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Netanyahu said that "I gave my word [to the Egyptian president] that he did not spy for Israel" and thereby ensured his release.

Tarabin, an Israeli Bedouin from the city of Rahat in southern Israel was released after completing his 15-year sentence for espionage. The Prime Minister's Office said that in exchange for his release, Israel freed a number of Egyptian nationals who had completed serving their sentences in Israeli prisons.

4. Netanyahu: Argentine decision to scrap accord with Iran 'very welcome'- Jerusalem Post

Netanyahu praised Argentina's new president Mauricio Macri Sunday for essentially canceling an agreement with Iran that would probably have absolved it of responsibility for the bombing of the AMIA Jewish Community center in Buenos Aires in 1994.

Macri's decision not to appeal a court ruling against the agreement with Iran, something his predecessor intended to do, is a harbinger of significantly better Argentinean- Israeli ties, Netanyahu said.

"This is a welcome change of direction, and I hope that we will see a significant improvement in Israeli-Argentinean ties, as well as an improvement in ties with other South American countries, in the coming years," the premier commented at Sunday's weekly cabinet meeting.

A day after Macri formally took over from Cristina Fernandez, a government source in Buenos Aires announced that the government will not appeal a court's decision to strike down the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran over investigating the bombing that killed 85 and wounded more than 300.

5. Palestinian man charged with killing 2 Israelis, wounding 3 - Israel Hayom

The State Attorney's Office indicted Sunday a Palestinian from the village of Dura, in Judea, who allegedly stabbed and killed two Israelis in Tel Aviv last month.

The man, Raed Khalil, was charged with two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder. According to prosecutors, on Nov. 19 Khalil arrived at a Tel Aviv office building after taking a 9-inch knife from a nearby restaurant.

He fatally stabbed a man near a makeshift synagogue on the fourth floor and then killed another passerby who rushed toward the scene of the attack. Khalil tried to force his way inside the synagogue but those inside close the door on him. He then went down two floors and continued his rampage but was ultimately overpowered by several passersby who hit him with a metal rod and held him in a storage facility under until law enforcement arrived.

6. Forum removes Israeli flag during Palestinian official's address- Israel Hayom

The organizers of the "HaaretzQ with New Israel Fund" conference in New York removed the Israeli flag from the stage ahead of chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat's speech Sunday, sparking harsh criticism.

Many participants said the decision was "miserable" and "unfortunate." In an official statement, Haaretz said, "Mr. Erekat's team requested he not be made to speak next to the Israeli flag, and we honored his wishes."

Speaking with Army Radio on Monday, Haaretz Publisher Amos Schocken said, "Haaretz doesn't hold conferences against the backdrop of the Israeli flag. Would the Office of the President agree to have a Palestinian flag next to an Israeli flag? I don't think so.

1. BREAKING NEWS: LOS ANGELES SHUTS ALL SCHOOLS AFTER RECEIVING 'ELECTRONIC THREAT'- Fox News

DEVELOPING: All of Los Angeles' public schools were closed Tuesday due to a "credible terror threat," officials said.

The emailed bomb threat apparently came from overseas late Monday and was directed to a member of the LA Unified School District Board of Education, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity.

It was unclear which school board member received it, but the situation prompted the district to close all schools effective immediately, and order students and staff to stay away from all campuses. Police and the FBI were investigating.

Schools Superintendent Ramon Cortines said every school in the 640,000-student district would be searched. The district, the nation's second-largest, includes more than 900 schools and 187 public charter schools. It covers Los Angeles as well as all or parts of 31 smaller municipalities and employs nearly 60,000 people.

6. Rev. Graham Backs Air Force Prayer: 'Since When is Voluntary Prayer Scandalous or Putrid?' - CNSNews.com

Reverend Franklin Graham is expressing outrage at the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, an atheist group that is demanding that the Air Force Academy football team quit praying on the field before games. The organization is claiming that there is pressure for team members to join in the prayer.

The Air Force announced plans to formally look into the situation and issued a statement: "The United States Air Force Academy is attentive to all religious freedom concerns, and we are conducting an inquiry into the complaint. The Air Force is dedicated to maintaining an environment in which people can realize their highest potential, regardless of personal religious or other beliefs."

We speak a falling to the ground of all words against Christian influence in America. Thank You, Father, for the boldness of Reverend Franklin Graham. May his words have strength and power behind them.

-"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night." (Revelations 12:10)

"president" fulfilling Koranic command with Islamic immigration

Muslims who migrate or "immigrate" may be fulfilling a Koranic command to conduct jihad under the Islamic tradition of Hijrah. The Koran's Surah An-Nisa verse 100, says, "Whoso migrateth for the cause of Allah will find much refuge and abundance in the earth, and whoso forsaketh his home, a fugitive unto Allah and His messenger, and death overtaketh him, his reward is then incumbent on Allah." It then describes how to worship in such lands without abandoning weapons and then when worship is complete, verse 103 says to "Relent not in pursuit of the enemy (unbelievers in the land)." The US "president's" immigration policy may well be supporting immigration jihad as it is interpreted from the Koran.

In September, FrontPage Magazine reported that, "Hijrah, or jihad by emigration, is, according to Islamic tradition, the migration or journey of Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Yathrib, later renamed by him to Medina, in the year 622 CE. It was after the hijrah that Muhammad for the first time became not just a preacher of religious ideas, but a political and military leader. That was what occasioned his new "revelations" exhorting his followers to commit violence against unbelievers. Significantly, the Islamic calendar counts the hijrah, not Muhammad's birth or the occasion of his first "revelation," as the beginning of Islam, implying that Islam is not fully itself without a political and military component."

Mission Islam explains hijrah slightly differently, saying that a Muslim living among disbelievers that will not allow complete Islamic freedom must migrate to a place where Sharia Law is practiced. In fact, it quotes verse 41 in Surah An-Nisa stating, "0 you who believe! Do not take the Jews and the Christians as protectors, they are protectors of one another, whoever takes them as protectors is one of them." Mission Islam divides the lands into two types, Abode of Disbelief and the Abode of Islam. In the Abode of Disbelief, the supreme and political power is in the hands of the disbelievers. In the Abode of Islam, the supreme law is Sharia and Muslims hold political power even if "the majority of the population are disbelievers, so long as the Muslims rule according to the Sharia."

The implication of Hijrah is to migrate and conquer as supported by both Muhammad's example and in reading the context of the Koran's Surah An-Nisa. Certainly, the history of Islam also confirms the meaning of Hijrah. The US "president" and the politically correct "leaders" in both political parties are allowing this migration with intent under the guise of religious freedom and the heartstrings of refugee tales. This is not about religion, but about overthrow of America with America's elected leaders as accomplices. Jesus's very first warning to his disciples about the end times is found in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." This deception by the "president" is deadly. Pray, act, and stand.

Religious freedom vs fascist tyranny

For centuries, Islam has and is demonstrating that it is a fascist military/political system dressed in religious clothes. The Mission Islam website discloses that Islam divides nations into two houses: the Abode of Disbelief, where the supreme and political power is in the hands of the disbelievers, and the Abode of Islam, where the supreme law is Sharia and Muslims hold political power even if "the majority of the population are disbelievers, so long as the Muslims rule according to the Sharia." There is no in-between. Islam's holy book, its constitution, if you will, seeks to establish the Abode of Islam. The White House has been supporting the Abode of Islam since Arab Spring in 2010 at the expense of religious freedom.

In June 2012, CNSNews.com reported that the US State Department eliminated the section on religious freedom in its Human rights reports and did not cover the atrocities against Christians by Muslims in countries that the White House assisted in establishing "democracy" during the "Arab Spring." America traditionally upheld religious freedom all around the world--that is, until this and the previous Administration began nation building in Islamic countries. The US insisted that religious freedom language was in the constitutions of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Egypt and so on. The problem, however, is that these constitutions also carry language that establish Islam as the religion of the land.

Islam, as an official religion, cannot co-exist with Christianity or Judaism by virtue of Islam's ideology. Therefore, no matter the language on religious freedom, Islam, and all that it is, is the official system. All laws and religions must submit to Islam, which has practiced the systematic elimination of non-Islamic peoples. It is difficult to imagine that American policy would shift so far away from religious freedom, but that is what has happened. The resultant persecution against Christians in Afghanistan and Iraq, for example, caused the Christian church to go so far underground that the US State Department can't find it--saying that Christian churches in those nations are a thing of the past.

Another example in 2012 found Egyptian Coptic Christians being killed by the dozens, their homes and churches being burned, and Coptics were even prevented from voting according to news reports. Everywhere there was a change due to the US-supported Arab Spring, Sharia law, complete with harsh discrimination against Christians, was established. It appears that the American government policy--both domestically and internationally--has turned undeniably anti-Christian. Worse, American Christians still seem complacent about it. Complacency is next to death. Ephesians 6:19 exhorts: "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I amy open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel." Let us do so.

Obama's Social Media Mishap

Obama's Social Media Mishap

Over the weekend, the New York Times reported that Tashfeen Malik "talked openly on social media about her views on violent jihad." "She said she supported it," the Times wrote. "And she said she wanted to be part of it."

Yet as Malik sought entry into the United States, she ultimately passed three background checks. Not once did those posts raise any red flags. . . because the Department of Homeland Security never checked her social media profile.

Moreover, the Times tells us that "there is a debate inside the Department of Homeland Security over whether it is even appropriate to do so."

Are you kidding me? . . . Of course, we should be reviewing their social media posts. At one point, we were doing that. Remember the PRISM program? But, according to ABC News, the Obama Administration stopped the program fearing "bad public relations."

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to reinstate the program that would have allowed "immigration officials [to review] the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas." Malik was admitted in May 2014.

John Cohen, a former top DHS official for intelligence and analysis, told ABC News that "immigration officials were not allowed to use or review social media as part of the screening process," despite repeated requests. Two other DHS officials have confirmed Cohen's remarks.

This is just another example of the Obama Administration's left-wing ideology putting the country at risk. (Gary Bauer)

The Culture Wars Continue

The Culture Wars Continue

The war on America's Judeo-Christian culture continues unabated. The principal at a Brooklyn, New York, public school recently issued an edict banning Thanksgiving and Christmas. And, for good measure, the Pledge of Allegiance got the ax too.

Teachers and staff at the school, which is overwhelmingly Asian and Hispanic, were urged to be "sensitive of the diversity of our families. Not all children celebrate the same holidays."

But these are American holidays! Who celebrates "harvest festivals" or "winter celebrations"? What about the children who do celebrate them? And why on earth was the Pledge of Allegiance dropped?

Of course, I know why the Pledge was banned! These things are happening because the left is trying to "fundamentally transform" America into something that bears little resemblance to the nation our Founding Fathers risked their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to create. It is why a majority of Americans, according to a recent Reuters poll, feel they are strangers in their own country.

Left-wing students, with zero appreciation for the freedom they have, are behaving like members of the Soviet Politburo -- demanding universities erase from history all those who fail to meet the left's standards. Obama made his own contribution to this attack on our culture when he repeatedly refused to utter the word "Creator" when he quoted the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence.

This is not an insignificant issue, my friends. Our nation's traditions and Judeo-Christian heritage are worth fighting for, whether the fight is against petty bureaucrats or Islamist tyrants. (Gary Bauer)

Middle East Revivals

Middle East Revivals:

JORDAN

Another ancient Middle-Eastern locale where Christianity is beginning to take root is along the borders the eastern bank of the Jordan River. The Islamic land of Jordan is also experiencing the grace and wonder of Jesus. Reflecting on what is transpiring in this nation, Rosenberg noted the following:

"God has been reviving the Jordanian Church in the last four decades, and particularly in the past few years. Conservative estimates say the number of Believers in the country is now between five and ten thousand. The head of one major Jordanian ministry, however, believes there may be as many as fifty thousand Believers in the country."

Jordan is also experiencing the salvation of Jesus Christ. (Breaking Christian News)

Powerful Alaska Storm Ties Strongest on Record

A potent storm approaching western Alaska this weekend has tied the strongest recorded storm to impact the region.

This storm comes a little over a year after ex-Super Typhoon Nuri became the most powerful system on record to cross Dutch Harbor, Alaska, which is located in the Aleutian Islands, with a central low pressure of 924 millibars (27.29 inches of Hg).

The intensity of a storm is measured by the central pressure, with lower pressure equating to a stronger system.

To put this in perspective, Hurricane Katrina made landfall at 920 millibars (27.17 inches of Hg).

This storm raced to the northeast and pounded the western Aleutian Islands with hurricane-force winds on Saturday evening, rapidly intensifying in the process.

Winds have gusted to 122 mph (196 km/h) at Adak Island, Alaska, on Saturday night.

Watch What Happens When These Christians Stand Up to Atheist Complaints about Nativity Scenes

(Belen, NM)-Freedom From Religion Foundation sent city officials of Belen, NM, the demand to take down the city's traditional nativity scene on city property. However, the city's officials, religious leaders and residents in response, planned and executed an even larger Christmas celebration this year. And, the nativity scene still stands.

When an atheist group mailed Belen, NM, city leaders a complaint about a nativity scene placed on property across from City Hall, Belen officials initiated a new "Follow the Star to Bethlehem" initiative, which became the city's biggest Christmas occasion ever. Belen, a city founded in 1740, is Spanish for Bethlehem. It reportedly was named by two Spaniards deliberately in honor of Bethlehem, making this complaint a bit more personal than usual.

Wisconsin-based atheist group, the Freedom From Religion Foundation, first sent the city a letter this summer demanding the removal of the nativity setup. The foundation promotes the separation of church and state and contacts city governments and public schools regarding topics deemed to be endorsing religion.

However, a nativity scene is a long-standing feature of Theresa Tabet Park, which is across the street from City Hall, according to a broadcast of KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, NM. The city observed its 275th birthday on Dec. 9, celebrating its many traditions. In response to the complaint, by August, a Facebook page called "Rally for Religious Liberty in Belen" was started, and many residents began to coordinate efforts "to protect the city's heritage."

Belen mayor Jerah Cordova told KOAT despite the threat of a lawsuit, he was not aware of any court filings. He said the foundation leaders. . . Read more
