GOD SENDS A SIGN OF LIFE IN THE SKIES OVER ISRAEL

Amazing. Above Israel, "Chai" shines -- the Hebrew symbol of life!

1. Ex-IDF Soldier Defects from Israel to Join ISIS - Breaking Israel News

Security officials confirmed on Sunday that an Israeli army veteran from the elite Givati unit has defected from Israel to join the Islamic State in Syria.

The soldier, who is an Arab Muslim, was reported by the Israeli news source Walla as hailing from a village in northern Israel. The Times of Israel reported that the soldier, 25, joined the IDF after an argument with his father, who objected to his son serving, and that he has had very little contact with his family since.

2. Hamas leader urges escalation of 'intifada' - Israel National News

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal is calling for an escalation in the "intifada" until the "forces of the occupation withdraw and go away".

The comments by the Hamas leader came in a recorded speech posted to the Hamas website on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the movement.

In the speech, Mashaal stated the importance of the participation of all Palestinian Arabs in the "intifada".

He made it clear that Hamas is working to strengthen its relationship with the international community and humanitarian organizations in order to recruit supporters and bring about a solution to the "Palestinian problem" and change the policy in different countries. That policy change, he claimed, will be reached when these countries feel that Israel is a political, financial and moral burden which has no future, while also understanding that the Palestinians are determined to achieve their rights.

Three soldiers were also lightly injured in the raid by friendly fire, amid shots aimed at one of the car-ramming terrorists.

The Binyamin Regional Brigade, together with Border Police, Judea and Samaria District Police, Givati Brigade infantry units, and Duvdevan undercover soldiers entered Kalandiya, between Jerusalem and Ramallah, late Tuesday night to arrest security suspects and search for weapons.

4. Report: Israel Estimates Massive Hezbollah Losses in Syria -Algemeiner

Israeli officials estimate that one third of Hezbollah's active fighters have been killed or wounded in the Syrian civil war, Israeli news site Wallareported on Tuesday.

According to the report, based on anonymous sources, between 1,300 and 1,500 Hezbollah fighters have been killed in combat in Syria, and an additional 5,000 have been wounded and are out of commission. Although Hezbollah - designated by the US and Israel as a terrorist group - is not open about its armed strength, some estimates say it could have up to 18,000 full-time and volunteers troops.

5. Right-wing group: leftist activists are 'implants' - YNET News

A new video released Tuesday by the right-wing Im Tirtzu organization portrayed four Israeli leftist human rights activists as aiding terrorists, leading one of them to submit a formal complaint to police. The video brands these individuals "implants," claiming that while Israel fights against terrorism, these individuals fight against their own country.

One of the "implants" in the video is Yishai Menuhin, director general of the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel (PCATI), who is presented as someone who will protect terrorists from being interrogated by the Shin Bet. Menuhin complained to police following release of the video, arguing that it "crossed the line of freedom of speech into incitement."

6. U.N. criticizes Israel for 'excessive use of force' against terrorists - JNS.org

JNS.org) The United Nations on Tuesday called the wave of Palestinian terror attacks in recent months "unacceptable," but criticized Israel for the "excessive use of force" in its self-defense against terrorism.

"The unacceptable wave of stabbings, shootings, and car-rammings continues to kill and injure Israelis," said Cecile Pouilly, a spokeswoman for the U.N. Human Rights Office. "[But] the response from Israeli security forces has resulted in alleged attackers, protesters, and even bystanders being killed and injured."

7. Watch: Ban Ki-Moon admits UN anti-Israel bias -Israel National News

"There is some bias against Israel, [the] Israeli people, and government," Ban stated.

"Israel is a member of the United Nations," he qualified. "Thus, Israel must be respected equally with all other 192 member states. Israel is 193."

Then, however, he seemed to backtrack.

"Israel should have for all equal rights [sic], equal representation - that is a firm principle of the UN."

8. Hamas Celebrates 28 Years of Terror with Vow to "Never Recognize the Israeli Occupation" - Breaking Israel News

The terrorist organization Hamas, which runs the Gaza Strip, celebrated its 28th anniversary on Monday with rallies, marches, and speeches full of anti-Israel rhetoric.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians marched in the streets to commemorate the establishment of the terror group, chanting slogans and waving Hamas flags. Children, dressed in fatigues and masks, wielded toy guns, while militants carried real ones.

Hamas released a press statement on its English language website to coincide with its day of celebration in which the organization vowed "to continue our resistance and steadfastness until almighty Allah grants us triumph" and "keep its weapons directed at the Israeli occupation".

Hamas boasted, "Over the years, Hamas has proved uncontainable, unbreakable despite the enemy's plots and conspiracies." The statement also called for the continuation of the current wave of violence, which they have dubbed the "Jerusalem Intifada", and for the PA to cease cooperation with Israel on security matters, as well as abandon "the illusions of peace". 1. North Korea conflict could become 'trans-regional,' U.S. official says -UPI

As you start to look at intercontinental ballistic technology, cyber capabilities, space capabilities, information operations and so forth, it's pretty hard to see how even a regional conflict would actually be anything other than trans-regional, multi-domain and multi-functional, the U.S. official said.

2. Judge blocks Ohio from taking action against Planned Parenthood over disposal of fetal tissue - Fox News

A federal judge on Monday temporarily blocked Ohio officials from taking legal action against Planned Parenthood to enforce fetal tissue disposal rules, and Republican state lawmakers proposed new regulations for such disposal.

The actions at the Ohio Statehouse and Columbus federal court comes after state Attorney General Mike DeWine's investigation into Planned Parenthood facilities.

DeWine's office found no evidence that Planned Parenthood made money from aborted fetuses, but his report released Friday instead criticized its facilities for disposing of fetal remains in landfills. He accused the organization of violating a state rule requiring that fetal tissue be disposed of in a "humane manner."

Planned Parenthood calls the report "inflammatory." The group says its three facilities that provide abortions follow Ohio law and use the same practices as hospitals and other providers, which generally contract with companies to dispose of medical waste.

-Abba Father, we repent for allowing abortion in the USA. Forgive us for allowing this amendment to the constitution. We believe that life begins at conception. We pray that these tiny baby bodies will be taken care of with dignity and either be buried or cremated. And Lord, give us leaders who will abolish this law. In His Name we pray, Amen.

4. Secret deal quadruples foreign workers in U.S. - WND

Buried in the 2,000-page omnibus spending bill released by the Senate Wednesday morning is a secret provision that many senators hope unemployed blue-collar workers won't find out about. This provision would quadruple the number of H-2B visas for low-skilled foreign "guest workers." It would allow more than a quarter-of-a-million foreign workers to enter the U.S. each year and work in the construction industry, hotel-motel services, truck drivers, food processing, forestry and many other fields that don't require a college education. A vote on the spending bill is expected late Thursday night, possibly after midnight, sources on the Hill told WND.

The bill also includes funding for all of President Obama's foreign refugee resettlement program and does nothing to stop the proliferation of so-called "sanctuary cities."

_Lord, the American people are growing tired of secret parts of bills that are slipped into the wording by those who do not care about us. Please move upon the hearts of these Senators. We pray in Jesus' Name that You will find a way to pull out this provision from the bill and protect Americans from this visa issue. Amen.

Mr. Carter continued the practice, which violated Defense Department rules, for at least two months after it was publicly revealed in March that Hillary Clinton had exclusively used a personal email account as secretary of state, the officials said.

Congressional budget--more funds for the unjust

In the election a year ago in November, the American public sent a message to Congress: We do not want the tax and spend status quo. Apparently, the Congress didn't listen. Even as House Speaker John Boehner resigned and Paul Ryan was elected, his first House omnibus appropriations bill continues to redistribute wealth by taking your hard earned money and giving it to others. The political gamesmanship with our money is beyond the pale of good taste. The government is growing bigger and more powerful, while the citizenry becomes further at risk--both physically because the government fails to see the domestic threat of Islam, and financially because the government is taking your money for bad use.

As the reports come in on the new government budget, we are seeing that the "president" got exactly what he wanted from establishment House Republicans. Funding for Planned Parenthood--after all that has been documented about this evil entity--remained. Apparently, the Democrats said they wouldn't support the budget bill unless the abortion mill got its full fare, and the Republicans (who hold the majority) caved in. The Republicans in the House made it more difficult to repeal socialist healthcare; they funded the Administration's hobby project on climate change through another fund, after all the Republican promises that they would dismantle socialist healthcare and not fund global warming.

But wait, there's more. This backroom budget deal is just getting started. The Washington Times reports, "the 233-page document moves away from deficit-cutting and embraces dozens of special tax breaks that presidential candidates in both parties had said they wanted to eliminate...Tax breaks on everything from racehorses and film productions to NASCAR racetracks to college tuitions and teachers' out-of-pocket classroom expenses are covered in the massive deal." Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Al), one of the few conservatives fighting the good fight, said, the people didn't elect Congress "to line the pockets of special interests and big business. That's not what we are here for." But it's what happened in the House.

Now where do the American people turn? The "president" and his party no longer hide their socialism and openly attack those who don't agree with them. The Republican "opposition" hides behind Christianese and faux conservative rhetoric, but supports the Democratic socialism with impunity. Isaiah 59:9 says, "Therefore justice is far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we wait for light, but behold darkness; for brightness, but we walk in gloom." But there is a place to turn for honest, hard working, common sense people. His name is Jesus Christ. For we know that he has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Let us pray and act. As a nation, we need to repent. As a people, we need to pray and act that we not perish in the hands of these evil doers.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Alert from Kenneth Copeland Ministries

Alert from Kenneth Copeland Ministries

Urgent: Help us stop the IRS' "Substantiation Requirements for Certain Contributions" proposal by sharing your opinion by Dec. 17.

Dear Friends, A recent proposal by the IRS has really caused concern for Gloria and me, and has set off alarm bells for ministries across America. If you've not heard what the IRS is proposing, let me tell you about it-as I believe stopping this from happening is vitally important to the future well being of pastors and churches.

The IRS has proposed a new rule called the "Substantiation Requirement for Certain Contributions," which creates a new system by which 501(c)(3) nonprofits may choose, voluntarily for now, to collect and send to the IRS Social Security numbers and other personal information from donors who give gifts more than $250. This would be in lieu of sending written acknowledgments to the donors themselves as proof of their gifts.

You read that right. If this new IRS rule is passed, instead of sending a donor a "written receipt," charities (including churches and ministries) would collect Social Security numbers along with other personal data from donors contributing $250 or more. This information would be passed along to the IRS for tax reporting purposes.

Songs Our Grandmothers Sang:

AWAY IN A MANGER

"She gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:7)

Lyrics
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head. The stars in the sky looked down where He lay, The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes; I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me, I pray; Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, And fit us for Heaven to live with Thee there.

How NASA Sees El Niño Effects From Space

This winter, weather patterns may be fairly different than what's typical -- all because of unusually warm ocean water in the east equatorial Pacific, an event known as El Niño. Because of El Niño, California is expected to get more rain, while Australia is expected to get less. Since this El Niño began last summer, the Pacific Ocean has already experienced an increase in tropical storms and a decrease in phytoplankton. (NASA.gov) Read more here.

Ancient marble slab reveals Jewish city near Sea of Galilee

(Israel Hayom/Exclusive to JNS.org) A 1,500-year-old marble slab found on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee on Wednesday provides the first real proof of ancient Jewish settlement in the area, archaeologists said. The large slab, which bears an Aramaic inscription in Hebrew script, was dug up on the eastern shore of the Sea of Galilee as part of an ongoing excavation in the ancient town of Kursi.

Experts say the slab probably dates to around 500 C.E., when the Hebrew alphabet was used by Jews and some local Christian communities. This suggest that Kursi was either a Jewish community or a mixed Christian-Jewish settlement. Researchers could only discern two words: "Amen" and "Marmaria," the latter possibly referring to Jesus's mother, Mary.
