GOD SENDS A SIGN OF LIFE IN THE SKIES OVER ISRAEL

Amazing. Above Israel, "Chai" shines -- the Hebrew symbol of life!

1. Palestinian Authority Limits Christmas Celebrations in West Bank - Christian Headlines

The Palestinian Authority has asked municipalities to tone down their public Christmas celebrations this year amid escalating violence between Palestinians and Israelis.

Hana Amireh, who heads a government committee on churches in the West Bank, confirmed the Palestinian Authority is requesting "a certain decrease" in festivities following the deaths of dozens of Palestinians since mid-September. The majority of them were killed during clashes with Israeli forces or carrying out terrorist attacks, according to the Israeli government.

Amireh said the government has asked the municipality of Bethlehem, the town where Jesus was born and where official Palestinian celebrations of Christmas take place, not to set off holiday fireworks this year and to limit the festive lights and decorations that traditionally adorn the town to two main streets.

2. Report: PA busts Islamic Jihad terrorist cell - Israel National News

The Palestinian Authority's security services in recent days busted an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell that had planned to attack IDF soldiers in Judea and Samaria, Kol Yisrael radio reported on Tuesday.

According to the radio station, the terrorists were apprehended in the village of Tubas, located 21 kilometers (13 miles) northeast of Shechem (Nablus).

A Palestinian source cited in the report said the terror squad consisted of six people and was in possession of a gas cylinder containing explosives, intended to serve as a roadside bomb.

As well, members of the cell were in possession of weapons, hand grenades and other makeshift explosives, according to Kol Yisrael radio.

The PA security forces have in the past cracked down on both the Islamic Jihad as well as on Hamas.

3. PA: We don't plan to cut security ties with Israel - Jerusalem Post

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas does not intend to suspend security coordination with Israel in spite of his repeated threats, Palestinian officials in Ramallah said on Tuesday.

Abbas had threatened to cut off security coordination after US Secretary of State John Kerry's most recent visit to the region, but Abbas did not indicate intentions to do so during recent meetings with senior Palestinian officials, they said.

The London-based Rai Al-Youm online newspaper quoted the officials as saying that Abbas fears such a move would lead to a serious confrontation with Israel, similar to the one that occurred during the second intifada.

"We have not contained ISIL currently," Dunford told Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va.

Turkey will regret "more than once" about its shooting down of a Russian bomber jet near the Syrian-Turkish border, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday, adding Moscow would not ignore Ankara's "aiding of terrorists."

President Vladimir Putin used his annual state of the nation speech on Thursday to warn Turkey the Kremlin planned to adopt further sanctions against it to punish Ankara for shooting down a Russian warplane near the Syrian-Turkish border last week.

Russia has already banned some Turkish food imports in retaliation as part of a sanctions package, and has accused Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and his family of benefiting from the smuggling of oil from Islamic State controlled territory in Syria and Iraq, allegations Turkey denies.

7. Police, feds probe terror as possible motive in SoCal massacre - Fox News

Law enforcement authorities are eyeing terrorism as a possible motive for an attack in Southern California that left 14 dead and was carried out with cold precision by a "devout" Muslim and his wife, who were killed hours later in a shootout with police.

Dressed in tactical gear, wearing GoPro cameras and toting assault rifles, Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, burst into a San Bernardino social services facility and shot up a conference room where Farook's employer, the county health department, was hosting a holiday party. The pair escaped in a black SUV after the attack, which authorities said was over within minutes, only to resurface four hours later and less than 2 miles away in a fierce gun battle on the city's main drag.

8. Obama's Immediate Reaction to San Bernadino: More Gun Control Laws - CNSNews.com

President Barack Obama on Wednesday reacted immediately to the mass murder in San Bernadino by calling for more gun-control laws.

The president said that the United States is particularly plagued by mass shootings-more than other countries-and that these could be curtailed by "gun safety laws." (Read more)

- Lord God, we thank You that in our country, under the U.S. Constitution, we are promised "the right to bear arms." We understand, too, as we study the history of past dictatorships, that the first thing any tyrant will do as he seizes control of his nation will be to take all guns away from his people.

Lord God, once again, we thank You for the wisdom You gave our Founding Fathers, who saw the need to secure our weapons under law. Lord God, we plead Your Shed Blood over the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution, and we come against any ploy on the part of this administration to use the blood of innocent victims to deprive us of this right. We do this in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.'"

Only you can protect your life

No terrorism here. Look the other way. But we do have to ban guns--That's essentially the response of the White House to the mass murders by two devout Muslims in San Bernardino Wednesday. The NY Daily News reports: "As California county workers mingled Wednesday morning at a holiday banquet...The merciless masked killers, in matching military garb and body armor, executed 14 helpless victims and wounded 17 more at the Inland Regional Center in a lightning strike sparked by either a simple dispute--or terrorism, authorities said...Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27,- were gunned down four hours later and 2 miles away. . . " This is the future because of the foolishness of our leaders.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations in a news release said, "We condemn this horrific and revolting attack and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed or injured. . . The Muslim community stands shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Americans in repudiating any twisted mindset that would claim to justify such sickening acts of violence." A family member of one of the shooters expressed shock at a CAIR news conference. The twisted mindset, however, emanates from the Koran, which repeatedly instructs followers of Islam to kill infidels. While it is a nice gesture for CAIR to issue such statements of condemnation, it is scant window-dressing and propaganda.

Islamic State (IS) activists were less diplomatic. Vocativ web analysts found IS posts on web forums where Islamists frequently share information, reporting, "ISIS extremists began celebrating the mass shooting in San Bernardino hours after the massacre, creating the hashtag #America_Burning. . . The Islamic State, however, did not take credit for the shootings in the ghoulish postings. . . " Postings included: "Three lions made us proud. They are still alive,". . . "California streets are full with soldiers with heavy weapons. The Unites States is burning #America_Burning #Takbir". . . "God is great and he the one to be praised for that,. . . This is hell with god's will. . . "May god spread fear in the homes of the Crusaders.""

There is a pattern when Muslims do their dirty deeds--Islamists attack innocents in areas where there are no guns allowed; the "president" ignores Islamic involvement and targets gun owners; CAIR comes out and denounces it; Muslim family members express shock that their devout son or daughter would do such a thing; and the political correct cycle goes into full swing. Make no mistake: Only you can protect your own life. As Jesus told his disciples in Luke 22:36 before his betrayal in Gethsemane, ". . . and he that has no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." He wasn't instructing murders, but rather self defense. More of these attacks are going to happen. Many innocents will die. The government cannot protect you, neither can police. You must take measures to protect yourself and your family, and be able to do so.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Faith Leaders Speak Out

Faith Leaders Ask Congress for Family-Friendly Provisions

More than 20 evangelical leaders are asking Republican House leadership to include values provisions when they bring the 2016 appropriations bill up for a vote.

In a letter, faith leaders are calling for the removal of abortion coverage in the Multi-State Plan of Obamacare and conscience protections for those who object to the HHS contraception mandate.

Wise Men Still Seek Repeal

Wise Men Still Seek Repeal

When Americans went around the table last Thursday to say what they were grateful for, ObamaCare probably wasn't one of them. Despite the millions spent in PR, the president's disaster of a health care law hasn't made it out of the basement of public opinion in months. The bottom-dwelling numbers continued in last week's polls, with barely 38 percent approval for a law that was supposed to usher in a new era of affordable care.

Well, it's ushered in a new era all right -- but a devastating one for personal choice, freedom, cost, employment, life, and treatment options. After "gazillions" (as Huffington Post puts it) of repeal attempts, the Senate's 16th vote will be its most significant. If Republican leaders can find a simple majority to support repeal, it will mark the first time that both chambers have sent a rollback of ObamaCare to the desk of its namesake. "Obviously," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told reporters, "we're not anticipating a presidential signature, but I think the president should have to take credit for the debacle that this legislation has created." A Special Call for Testimonies for the Texas Abortion Case Before the U.S. Supreme Court

By the time you read this, we will have filed or sent to the printer, our North Dakota Amicus Curiae Brief. It will be substantially similarly to the Arkansas Brief still making the same argument that abortion takes the life of a human being and that there is a better way to help women to be relieved from the burden of unwanted child care through the Safe Haven laws.

But now, it is time to write your brief on the merits in the Texas case. This brief will be slightly different since the Texas law requires hospital admitting privileges and ambulatory surgical centers. This Texas brief will focus more on physical injuries to women.

THEREFORE, IF YOU HAD PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS FROM ABORTION, WE WANT TO HIGHLIGHT YOUR STORY IN THE TEXAS BRIEF. OUR AFFIDAVITS AND DECLARATIONS ARE SOMEWHAT GENERAL AND WE DID NOT SPECIFICALLY ASK IF YOU HAD PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS. PLEASE LET US KNOW BY EMAIL IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAD SEVERE BLEEDING, PUNCTURED UTERUS, ETC., OR OTHER PHYSICAL COMPLICATIONS FROM YOUR ABORTION OR AFTER EFFECTS.
> > > For more details about this alert, please go here.
PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Please keep the Supreme Court in your prayers daily. Please pray for the Supreme Court Justices by name: Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Antonin Scalia, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Stephen G. Breyer, Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr., Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and Justice Elena Kagan.
2. Please pray for the Arkansas and North Dakota cases which are being considered by the Supreme Court now as to whether they will take the cases to hear oral argument.
3. Please pray that the covenant with death, the agreement with the grave that are Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton will be annulled and canceled by the U.S. Supreme Court. This is the promise that the Lord gave us in Isaiah 28:14-22 in the year 2000 that confirmed we were to begin Operation Outcry.
4. Ask the Lord to bind the abortion power over the United States and over the media. That the Lord would bind the strongman so we can release the captives and heal the prisoners.
5. Please pray that these briefs and these cases would bring healing to our nation and to the men and women who have participated in abortion. Pray for salvation, forgiveness and healing for everyone involved. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers, the principalities and forces in the spiritual places Ephesians 6:12.

When There Are No Answers

When There Are No Answers

By Anne Graham Lotz

"These [trials] have come so that your faith . . . may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed." (1 Peter 1:7, NIV)

What, or who, has . . .

turned on the tap of your tears,

and tossed you in your bed at night,

and preoccupied your waking thoughts,

and blackened your hopes for the future,

and broken your heart,

and wrenched an agonized "Why?" from your trembling lips?

To our heart-wrenched cries of Why? God's ultimate answer is, "Jesus," as He is glorified and magnified in our lives through our suffering. Trust Him. When guilt takes the edge off every joy . . .
when there are no answers to your questions . . .

trust Him when you don't understand.

Trust His heart.

Blessings,

Anne Graham Lotz

'You Lied':

Student Seeks Apology from School District Over Remarks
About 'God' Question

KATY, Texas - A middle school student in Texas who made national headlines last month when she expressed concern to her local school board over an assignment that required her to deny the existence of God as fact is seeking an apology for what she says are "lies" that were disseminated by the district.

"I'm here to ask for the truth," Jordan Wooley stated on Monday in again speaking to the board of the Katy Independent School District. "What you told everyone was not 100 percent true."

The Katy Independent School District investigated the matter, and soon released a statement declaring that the particular statement at issue was "unnecessary for achieving the instructional standard." However, it asserted that the teacher herself is a Christian, and that the assignment had been misunderstood.

"Nothing that the principal has found supports the assertions that the teacher deliberately threatened [students], or tried to force them to deny God," added Superintendent Alton Frailey at a press conference. "Was the activity graded? It was not graded. Was it 40 percent of their grade? Were the students told they had to deny God? No one corroborated that at all."

But Wooley says that some of the district's statements were untrue.

"You lied about saying the assignment was not graded when it originally was until my principal changed it," she said in a statement before the board on Monday. "You lied about saying that they found no evidence to support my claims, when that is true too." (Christian News) Read more.
