1. At least 120 reported dead after strong earthquake rocks central Italy - Fox News

A powerful earthquake killed at least 120 people and destroyed a cluster of small mountain villages in Central Italy Wednesday,as rescue workers were digging frantically through the rubble of historic buildings for any survivors.

Italian Premier Matteo Renzi announced the updated death toll. Among the hardest hit towns was Amatrice, a village of 2,700 in the province of Rieti. Survivors painted a grim picture of devastation following the magnitude-6.2 quake, which struck at 3:36 a.m. and was felt as far away as Rome.

"The town isn't here anymore," said Sergio Pirozzi, the mayor of Amatrice. "We came out to the piazza, and it looked like Dante's Inferno," said Agostino Severo, a Rome resident visiting Illica. "People crying for help, help. Rescue workers arrived after one hour... one and a half hours."

Renzi said 34 people died in Le Marche, the rest from the other towns. He also says the identification of quake bodies was a difficult process. Rescuers were setting up tents around the hard-hit areas to care for the thousands of people left homeless. (Read more)

2. At least 3 reported dead after powerful earthquake strikes central Burma - Fox News

A powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.8 rocked central Burma on Wednesday, damaging nearly 100 ancient Buddhist pagodas in the tourist city of Bagan and reportedly killing at least three people.

The quake was centered about 15 miles west of Chauk, an area west of the ancient capital of Bagan, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. The epicenter was located fairly far below the Earth's surface at a depth of about 52 miles, it said. Deep earthquakes generally cause less surface damage.

At least 94 brick pagodas in Bagan were damaged, the Ministry of Religious and Cultural Affairs said in a statement. Bagan, also known as Pagan, has more than 2,200 structures including pagodas and temples constructed from the 10th to the 14th centuries. Many are in disrepair while others have been restored in recent years, aided by the U.N. cultural agency UNESCO. (Read more)

3. 'Life-threatening flooding' in northeast Iowa after heavy rain - MPR News (Minnesota)

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood emergency for four counties in northeastern Iowa after torrential rains overnight.

"Widespread and life-threatening flooding is occurring, and in some places near-historical river and creek flooding, after overnight rains in northeast Iowa. Mudslides and water over roads are also reported in Richland and Crawford counties in Wisconsin," the weather service said.

"Water continues to rise in northeast Iowa in many areas and law enforcement reports water rescues have been occurring when people have driven into flooded water." (Read more)

4. Over 200,000 villagers evacuated by rescue teams in Bihar - Gulf News (India)

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to alert and apprise him of the worsening flood situation in his home state. The prevailing floods caused by heavy downpours in neighbouring states have left more than a million people settled in 12 districts of the state badly affected even as the rescue teams have evacuated more than 200,000 populations trapped in their flooded homes.

Flood situation on Tuesday worsened in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh due to release of water from Nepal and adjoining states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttrakhand which led to further rise in water levels of major rivers. (Read more)

5. Hermine may brew in Atlantic following birth of Tropical Storm Gaston - Accuweather.com

A budding tropical disturbance has the potential to strengthen significantly and reach Florida and the Bahamas with strong winds, coastal flooding and torrential rainfall during Sunday and Monday.

Only one of two active Atlantic tropical systems poses a significant threat to land during the next 10 days. That system, dubbed 99L, has the potential to become Tropical Depression Eight and Tropical Storm Hermine this week.

The disturbance, currently located about 1,000 miles southeast of Miami, is forecast to take a general west to west-northwest path near Puerto Rico on Wednesday night and near Hispaniola on Thursday.

"The exact track of 99L will have a big impact on when the system strengthens," according to AccuWeather Hurricane Expert Dan Kottlowski. (Read more)

> > > We encourage all of you to keep a watchful eye on this storm system. A third storm has now also emerged off the coast of East Africa and is beginning to slowly make its way across the Atlantic. Should these storms begin to merge, it would cause a "mega-storm" catastrophe that would then impact our own East Coast.
- We cry out for mercy in advance of these storms, and we thank You, Lord, that it is written: "Even the wind and the waves obey him!" (Mark 4:41)

Thank You, Lord, as we stand in repentance, for hearing our prayer. We ask that these three systems not merge, and that each one goes out to sea, harming no one, in Your name, amen.

1. IDF shuts down six illegal weapons factories in West Bank - Times of Israel

Israeli security forces shut down six illegal weapons manufacturing factories in the West Bank in what the army said was the biggest such operation of an ongoing crackdown.

The raids conducted jointly by the Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security service and Israel Police took place Monday night in Bethlehem and Hebron.

"Last night, after research and analysis, we decided to clamp down on several warehouses and factories that manufacture guns and arms," a senior army officer told JTA and other journalists in a briefing. "From six of these seven warehouses we found advanced weapons technology." (Read more)

2. 'Gilad Sharon's return will hurt the Likud' - Israel National News

Journalist David Bedein, head of the Center for Near East Policy Research, warned on Tuesday that if Gilad Sharon, son of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, goes ahead with his plans to run for the Knesset with the Likud, the move could ultimately hurt the party.

"People have not forgotten that Gilad Sharon was one of the five people in what was called the 'Farm Forum' - those people who made every decision about what was going to happen in terms of the expulsion of the Jewish communities of Gush Katif and the northern Shomron, and the retreat of the army," Bedein told Arutz Sheva.

"The Knesset's Internal Affairs Committee ordered to investigate the conflict of interest between people who were investing in the Arab sector of Judea and Samaria and were also expelling people. It was the same men," he added. "That investigation has never taken place because there was no pressure to do so." (Read more)

3. Netanyahu: Palestinians want ethnic cleansing - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met Tuesday with haredi journalists in his office in Jerusalem, capping off a series of meetings with various groups of reporters over the past several days.

During the event, Netanyahu responded to questions regarding the possible evacuation of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria as part of a final status agreement with the Palestinian Authority.

In his response, the Prime Minister said the Palestinian Authority's insistence on the removal of such towns showed that "they want an ethnic cleansing." (Read more)

4. Aqaba spill dumps 200 tons of crude oil into Red Sea - Times of Israel

A burst pipe at Jordan's port of Aqaba has spilled at least 200 tons of crude oil into the Red Sea, Israel's foreign and environmental protection ministries said Tuesday.

A joint statement from both ministries said Israel had contacted Jordanian officials to offer assistance with cleaning up the spill.

Environment Minister Ze'ev Elkin and Foreign Ministry Director General Dore Gold approved the offer to supply Israeli equipment and manpower to help clean-up efforts, but the Jordanians were currently "handling the incident themselves," the statement said. (Read more)

5.Finance Ministry submits budget proposal for 2017-2018: Greater deficit, lesser taxes - Jerusalem Online

The Israeli Finance Ministry published its official budget proposal for the years 2017-2018 today (Monday). According to the proposal, Israel's deficit or "national overdraft" will rise by 2.9%, a larger increase than was initially planned. The enlarged deficit is intended to cover the many expenses detailed in the budget.

As part of the deviation from the original budgetary framework, public expenditures will be substantially increased, with a 5% addition instead of the 2.7% initially planned. The budget proposal does not include any "painful" reforms or any damage to power bases such as unfunded pensions, but the Finance Ministry does intend on a 2% lateral budget cut in government offices, as well as taking surplus funds from the Jewish National Fund, the Israel Airports Authority and Israel's national lottery Mifal HaPayis. 1. BREAKING! At least 1 reported dead, 14 wounded in attack on American University of Afghanistan - Fox News

DEVELOPING: At least one student died and 14 other people were hurt Wednesday after a "complex" gun and bomb attack at American University of Afghanistan in western Kabul, police and the head of the city's hospitals reported, as the military worked for hours to free students and staff inside.

Security forces were conducting a clearing operation to track down the "terrorists" and slowly rescue teachers and hundreds of students who huddled in classrooms and safe rooms, police spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said. Dozens remained trapped as midnight approached, Reuters reported.

Sediqqi said it was not clear if there were one or two attackers. (Read more)

- Father God, by the time we publish this Brief, this news may very well have changed. We plead the Blood of the Lamb over everyone who is trapped inside this University, and ask that You send forth Your warring angels to help the police captures these terrorists. We stand watch, Lord, in Jesus' name, amen and amen.

- "I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts . . ." (Habakkuk 2:1)

2. Emails reveal how foundation donors got access to Clinton and her close aides at State Dept. - Washington Post

A sports executive who was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation and whose firm paid Bill Clinton millions of dollars in consulting fees wanted help getting a visa for a British soccer player with a criminal past. The crown prince of Bahrain, whose government gave more than $50,000 to the Clintons' charity and who participated in its glitzy annual conference, wanted a last-minute meeting with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. U2 rocker and philanthropist Bono, also a regular at foundation events, wanted high-level help broadcasting a live link to the International Space Station during concerts.(Read more) (Read more)

- Lord, we are grieved and angry that Secretary of State Clinton, has sold her own country "down the river" in order to appease these Arab states who are not our friends, and do not have our best interests in mind. We praise You that all of these "unholy alliances" are being revealed, and the details will continue to be exposed for all our enemies and friends alike to see clearly, and to judge appropriately. We ask for Truth to be exposed and for You to show Yourself strong on behalf of those who follow You! Thank You for Your goodness, mercy and grace. In Your Name we pray, Amen. Bring glory to Yourself we pray, Amen.

- "For you have made Adonai, the Most High, Who is my refuge, your dwelling-place. No disaster will happen to you, no calamity will come near your tent; for He will order His angels to care for you and guard you wherever you go." (Psalm 91:9-11)

3. State Department: 'No Impropriety' in Contacts With Clinton Foundation; 'The Way the Process Works' - CNSNews.com

Judicial Watch on Monday released email exchanges showing that top Clinton aide Huma Abedin provided influential Clinton Foundation donors -- including the crown prince of Bahrain -- special, expedited access to Hillary Clinton when she was serving as Secretary of State.

"In many instances, the preferential treatment provided to donors was at the specific request of Clinton Foundation executive Douglas Band," Judicial Watch noted.

"There was no impropriety," State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters on Monday. "This was simply, you know, evidence of the way the process works in that, you know, any secretary of state has aides who are getting e-mails or contacts by a broad range of individuals and organizations." (Read more)

- Father, we see that Huma Abedin has been in the middle of this "pay-for-play" scheme for many years, and that many of the donors she has favored come from Arab nations. It seems we have been taken advantage of, Lord God, and we pray and ask that You would put a stop to this practice, and cause our own nation to be shown favor and honor. Deal with these other personnel, as You see fit, and protect us, O Lord, we pray, from violence and evil. We ask this in Your Name, Amen.

- "He said that He would do this through His holy prophets who lived long ago: He promised He would save us from our enemies and from the power of all those who hate us." (Luke 1:70-72)

4. Trump Calls For Special Prosecutor For Clinton, 'Watch' Of Voting In Election - The Huffington Post

AKRON, Ohio - Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump urged the Justice Department on Monday to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate if donors to the Clinton Foundation got special treatment from the State Department when it was run by his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton. Trump made the appeal at a rally before thousands of cheering supporters in Akron, Ohio, as he tries to rebound from a slide in national opinion polls with little more than two months to go until the Nov. 8 election.

Trump accused former President Bill Clinton and his wife of turning the Clinton Foundation charity into a "pay-for-play" scheme in which wealthy donors, foreign and domestic, got favors from the State Department during Hillary Clinton's 2009-2013 tenure as the country's top diplomat.

Trump also urged his supporters to "watch" voting places on election day, seemingly alluding to his fears that the race could be "rigged." "When I say watch, you know what I'm talking about, right? You know what I'm taking about. I think you got to go out and you got to watch," Trump said. (Read more)

- Lord God, there are others in addition to Donald Trump who are now calling for the appointment of a Special Prosecutor who will have authority to examine all the facts regarding Mrs. Clinton's email activities, and then render an opinion accordingly.

We thank you, too, for Mr. Trump's calling his followers to watch all activities at the polls on Election Day. Abba, we come to You, and ask that You give us Your strategies in handling these under-handed efforts to "derail" this election at the polling places. Help us serve as Your watchmen, O Lord. Blow the trumpet in Zion, for all to see and hear, and act upon this call to watch, we pray!

- "So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:26-28)

5. Where's Hillary? Clinton off campaign trail as Trump seeks comeback - Fox News

"Hillary Clinton is in hiding because she doesn't want to face voters or even the press," Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller said Tuesday. "Her scandal-plagued time at the State Department was an ethical disaster, not to mention a failure by allowing the rise of radical Islamic terrorism. With a track record like that, you'd be in hiding too." Strategists on both sides of the aisle seem to agree -- though for different reasons -- that the Democratic nominee's limited campaign schedule is for now perhaps her best strategy.

"Every page of her playbook says avoid the public at every opportunity," Republican strategist and Vox Global partner David Payne said Tuesday. (Read more)

- Father God, we do not know why Mrs. Clinton has slowed down her campaign appearances, but You do. We ask that she be given wisdom and counsel not only from man, but from You. May she seek Your face in this time of humbling, in Jesus name. Amen and amen.

- "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." (Acts 3:19)

6. Planned Parenthood Clinic in Wisconsin Permanently Closes - CNSNews.com

A Planned Parenthood clinic in Appleton, Wis., is permanently shutting down due to an inability to meet proper security standards, Planned Parenthood officials said Monday. The Appleton North clinic temporarily suspended abortion services in October 2015 because of a staffing shortage, the Capital Times reported Tuesday.

Julaine Appling, director of the pro-life Christian group Wisconsin Family Action, called the closure a victory for women. "Planned Parenthood likes to send the message that they are the only respite for women in crisis pregnancy situations or women who think they might be. But Planned Parenthood with their abortion end-game is not the only option," Appling said.

"Women in the Appleton area have wonderful Pregnancy Resource Centers available to them, where they and their unborn child will be treated with dignity and respect while offering real help and hope. Many of these Pregnancy Resource Centers also have medical clinics making them able to offer a wide array of services. Keeping this Planned Parenthood facility closed bodes well for the women in the greater Appleton area," she added. (Read more)

- Lord, we are grateful for the permanent closure of this Planned Parenthood Clinic in Appleton, Wisconsin. Our hearts rejoice and we dance before You, as David danced, over such good news!! You are Life, and Health to these precious babies, and we rejoice with You as You have given to them new life!!! Hallelujah!!! Our God Reigns!!!

- "Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." (Genesis 2:7)

7. No Scientific Evidence That People Are Born Gay or Transgender, Johns Hopkins Researchers Say - Christian Post

Distinguished scholars at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland released a new 143-page report on Monday that argues that there is not enough definitive scientific evidence available to suggest that gay, lesbian and transgender individuals are born with a certain sexual orientation or gender identity. (Read more)

- Father God, as Your children, we know that the Word of God is true and does not lie, so what is written in Your Scripture cannot be challenged or denied. Lord, the unsaved do not understand this truth, so they look to the world of science for wisdom. Lord God, for this reason, we rejoice that this solid research only confirms what Your Word clearly states: "Male and female created he them." (Genesis 5:2)

8. Obama tours Louisiana amid criticism that he's late- CNN

President Barack Obama toured flood-ravaged Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Tuesday, surveying wreckage that has also become a political football.

"We are heartbroken by the loss of life," Obama said after seeing firsthand the damage in the state's capital that has caused more than 106,000 residents and households to register for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. More than 60,000 homes were damaged, officials said, and 13 people were killed.

"I think anybody who can see just the streets, much less the inside of the homes here, people's lives have been upended by this flood," he added.

The flooding has created political headache for the White House as critics blasted Obama for being too slow to visit the state. He spent the previous week vacationing on Martha's Vineyard, while Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his vice presidential running mate, Mike Pence, visited the state and handed out supplies.

"Tuesday's too late," Trump told Fox News this weekend. "Hop into the plane and go down and go to Louisiana and see what's going on, because it's a mess." (Read more)

- Lord God, during an election year, everything seems to be a political football. We ask You to remove politics from this and other natural disasters, and help our leaders to place the needs of our people above everything else. We ask that the federal government render any and all assistance in the coming months, and years, to the devastated people of Louisiana, in Your name, amen.

- "Give the king Your judgments, O God, And Your righteousness to the king's Son. . . He will bring justice to the poor of the people; He will save the children of the needy." (Psalm 72:1,4)

9. Fence rises along border town, but skeptical residents say manpower keeps them safe - Fox News

SUNLAND PARK, New Mexico - Residents of this dusty hamlet are skeptical that an ongoing effort to replace 1.4 miles of chain link fencing with an imposing steel curtain -- much less the the ambitious border wall Donald Trump has vowed to build -- will stem the tide of illegal immigrants they find under their trailers, in their backyards or wandering through town.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is replacing the stretch of 20-year-old fencing with an 18-foot-high steel wall that extends another 6 feet underground into a bed of concrete. The project also includes elevating the roadbed that runs alongside the wall, to improve the effectiveness of vehicle-borne Border Patrol agents.

It's a short span, but it provides a glimpse at the scope - and cost - of what may be coming along the 2,000-mile border, especially if Trump is elected in November.

"There are no other fence projects of comparable size," said Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier. (Read more)

- Father God, we do thank You that Donald Trump is proposing taking strong measures to protect our country. We ask for Your will to be done, in Your name, amen.

- "And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:22)

10. The US Air Force reveals radical plan to 'bomb the sky' to improve radio reception - Daily Mail UK

A fleet of tiny satellites could one day be used to detonate plasma bombs in Earth's upper atmosphere to improve the range of radio communications. The US Air Force has granted contracts to three research teams to develop the technology needed to do this, with hopes that CubeSats could carry massive amounts of ionized gas to the ionosphere to create radio-reflecting plasma. (Read more)

- Lord God, we ask that this research be used only for good purposes, as shown above, and not for any hidden, evil agenda. Father, cast down that which should be taken down, and bless that which should be blessed, in Your will, amen.

Christians and Ephesians in prophetic times

The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:1-6, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." In these times, we often wonder about this unity. We question whether we are alone, probably much the same way Elijah did in standing against the prophets of Baal. I have been reminded, however, that our unity is alive.

There have been hundreds of emails pouring in to The Daily Jot this week. They have been incredibly encouraging as if something in the Spirit has prompted a timing of unity. Many Christians are being emboldened to speak, as Ephesians 6:20 says, "that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." It started with the example that there were some folks who claimed to be Christians that called into question my salvation and Christianity over the comparisons between the Presidential candidates. While those were examples of what you may experience when using The Daily Jot as sourcing to speak about the election from a Christian lens, many felt the urging to write notes of encouragement.

There were so many that I cannot begin to do them justice, but I would like to share a few with you that are a representative sample in hopes that they also encourage you. FH writes, "I'm so sorry to see that people are throwing a fit over the Trump issue. They are Christians- using the term loosely- who are holding anger and bitterness rather than discerning God's hand in what is happening." From ME, "I'm glad you have them figured out pastor Bill. My grandma once told me not to believe anything I hear and half of what I see. I think she meant the skeptics of the truth." AA writes: "Onward Christian Soldiers! Keep fighting the GOD fight!" SL says, "Thank you for speaking His truth. Keep speaking, keep standing, keep honoring the Lord."

GL writes: "I totally love your Biblical perspective and relating Scripture to current events. You put things clearly and simply, and this makes it easy to share with family and friends. I agree that some Christian friends and family have a problem with Donald Trump, but gracious, look at the alternative! The Christian faith has, in very many ways, grown cold in America; hence, confusion and scoffers have arisen. But don't give up the Lord's cause! And we won't, either! May the Lord clothe us all in His strength-His armor!" And it is His whole armor that we must take on that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Thank you for being an Ephesians people in these prophetic times. Be encouraged!

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

4,000 Christians Beaten by Police in Vietnam for Protesting Against Dumping Toxic Waste Into the Sea

Four thousand Catholics from the town of Ky Anh in Vietnam were beaten by police after they led an anti-pollution protest against the government, following the contamination of 70 tons of fish from waste dumped into the sea.

Asia News reports that the Christians were protesting against a fish-related environmental disaster that has gripped the country and threatens to leave hundreds of fishing families hungry.

After nearly 70 tons of fish died allegedly because of pollution caused by Formosa Plastic Group, a steel company that dumped waste into the sea, Christian fishing families affected by the pollution marched at municipal offices in Ky Anh town, but were blocked and beaten by police barricades, leaving several people injured by truncheon blows.

I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY

[ Back ] [ Home ] [ Next ] "Let me tell you what He has done for me." (Psalm 66:16)

Lyrics

I love to tell the story of unseen things above, Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love. I love to tell the story, because I know 'tis true; It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

Refrain

I love to tell the story, 'twill be my theme in glory, To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams. I love to tell the story, it did so much for me; And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

Refrain

I love to tell the story; 'tis pleasant to repeat What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet. I love to tell the story, for some have never heard The message of salvation from God's own holy Word.

Refrain

I love to tell the story, for those who know it best Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest. And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song, 'Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

About the hymn:

"Last winter a young man appeared here from British Columbia," says a letter from Surrey, England. "He was in the Royal Marines. He was a total abstainer and was doing all he could to promote temperance among his comrades. While here he went to church, and the curate, who had a conversation with him, was much pleased with his manly behavior and resolute desire to do right. He wore a medal and had good conduct marks on his clothes. This man was the little boy whom Miss T. had picked up in Battersea Park many years before, and who had learned of the gospel of salvation entirely by listening to the maidservants singing sacred songs while scrubbing the doorsteps and cleaning windows. The hymn that, as a child, he seemed to make entirely his own was, 'I love to tell the story,' though he knew several others when he was picked up in the park. As he had never been to church or chapel, the hymns were the only channel through which divine truth had been conveyed to him, and by which the first seed was sown in his heart that made him a man of character and usefulness." 'Unprecedented': Deadly parasite kills thousands of fish, prompts Yellowstone river closure

Nearly 200 miles of a popular Yellowstone river is closed to the public, as thousands of fish have gone belly up in an "unprecedented" way. Officials in Montana suspect the cause is a human-spread parasitic disease.

Fishing, rafting, swimming and other water-based recreational activities were banned for an undetermined amount of time as of Friday morning. The immediate closure is stretching from Yellowstone National Park's northern boundary at Gardiner to the Highway 212 Bridge in Laurel, the area surrounding the affected zone.

Officials from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) say the 183-mile stretch of the Yellowstone River would not reopen until fish stop dying. As of Friday morning, up to 4,000 fish have been counted, but a real number is believed to be in the tens of thousands. The fish kill has extended for nearly 100 miles, the FWP said.

"This kill is unprecedented in magnitude. We haven't seen something like this in Montana," FWP spokeswoman Andrea Jones said.

FWP said in a statement that test results from samples sent to the US Fish & Wildlife Service's Fish Health Center in Bozeman, showing the catalyst for this fish kill to be proliferative kidney disease.

"It's one of the most serious diseases to impact whitefish and trout," Jones said.

Fish suck in spores of the disease through their gills, and the parasite then travels to the kidneys, eventually causing failure. It is not dangerous for humans and dogs. (RT.com) Read more here.

Biblical Tabernacle is Nothing Like What You Think Says Bible-Savvy Engineer

"The Tabernacle impressed the other nations. A six story tall geodesic dome would certainly do that." -Andrew Hoy

(Israel)-[Breaking Israel News] The Biblical Tabernacle, or Tent of Meeting, may not have been a modest rectangular tent as scholars have believed for centuries, but an enormous circular structure six stories tall, proposes a Wisconsin engineer who has spent years studying the intricacies of the Biblical texts describing the desert structure.

Andrew Hoy, a trained mechanical engineer from Milwaukee currently in Israel to investigate his theory, has developed a concept which challenges every known belief about the portable central structure Israel used to serve God for 400 years until the First Temple was built.

Hoy has a head for numbers and a passion for the Bible. Raised in the Lutheran Church, his personal journey led him to leave that church. He studied in yeshiva (religious seminary) in Jerusalem for a period, where he concentrated on learning Hebrew in order to study the Bible in its original form.

All are welcome to join us in this exciting new venture!
