1. Israel asks France to cancel peace parley, calls for direct talks with PA - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's envoys on Monday rejected a French call that it attend an international peace conference on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that will likely be held in December in Paris.

Only direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians will lead to a final agreement for a two-state solution, Netanyahu's envoys, attorney Yitzhak Molcho and acting National Security Council head Yaakov Nagel said.

They conveyed this message in a meeting with France's envoy for the initiative Pierre Vimont, who met with them in Jerusalem during his visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories to secure support for the conference. (Read more)

2. French diplomat: We'll move forward on our peace initiative by year's end - Ynet News

Pierre Vimont, France's special envoy for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, said at a conference in Tel Aviv on Sunday that it was his government's intention to move forward on the French peace initiative by the end of this year.

The conference was held by the Macro Center for Political Economics and the Institute for National Security Studies. Vimont said that the current status quo was distancing the two-state solution and necessitating intervention: "We want to revive the two-state solution in this window of opportunity and return it to the international agenda."

The diplomat also said that promoting the initiative is a test of wills to see if the Israelis and Palestinians truly want to reach a solution. "The French initiative is not an attempt to get involved in Israeli policy, but an attempt to harness the goodwill of the international community for the sake of a solution," he explained. 3. Netanyahu: We expect next US president to back direct peace talks - Jerusalem Post

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed hope Sunday that both US President Barack Obama, and whoever succeeds him, will not impose a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from the outside.

Netanyahu opened his weekly cabinet meeting with remarks about Tuesday's US election, saying that "I am convinced that the United States will continue acting on the principle it set that the only solution to the conflict is direct negotiations without preconditions."

The remarks came amid reports that Obama could support a resolution against Israeli settlements. Netanyahu stated that "the UN or any international body obviously should not establish facts on the ground." (Read more)

4. Netanyahu warns cabinet: Don't discuss US election - Israel National News

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has instructed his Cabinet Ministers to stay quiet about the upcoming US presidential election, Channel 10 reported.

In written directive to all cabinet ministers Netanyahu referred to the election as a 'sensitive' issue that ministers should not discuss in public. (Read more)

5. Hamas operating from Turkey as usual despite Ankara's promises - Jerusalem Post

On November 15, following multiple delays, the Foreign Ministry's appointments committee is scheduled to choose Israel's new ambassador to Turkey. Among the main candidates for the job are Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon, who previously served in Turkey; the chargé d'affaires of the embassy in Ankara, Amira Oron; Ambassador to Greece, Irit Ben Aba; and the political councilor at Israel's London embassy, Eitan Naveh. However, nobody would be shocked if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who also serves as foreign minister, decides to appoint for the job somebody close to him, because of the importance he places on relations with Turkey.

As soon as Israel announces the appointment of the ambassador and sends the envoy to Ankara, Turkey will reciprocate. Turkish media has reported that that the leading candidate for the embassy in Tel Aviv is Kamel Okam, a diplomat who is a very close confidant of one of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's important advisors. Please note:
Every prayer below is presented to our Lord in the Name of Jesus Christ, amen.

1. Just in case, impeach Hillary plans ready - WND

If Hillary Clinton wins the election Tuesday, a prominent Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee says there will be an immediate move to impeach her before she can even be sworn into office Jan. 20.

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, told WND he has spent the last week ensuring Congress has secured all of the hundreds of thousands of emails examined by the FBI over the last 10 days and has confidence the House could impeach her before she assumes office.

"Don't think that Hillary Clinton has been declared innocent on the email scandal just yet," King warned. "This is not over yet."

King, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, noted the only alternative to a possible impeachment of a president-elect Clinton would be if a groundswell of American voters rises up to elect Donald Trump.

"With President Trump in the White House, we could appoint within the Justice Department and the FBI officials who would do their duty to investigate Secretary Clinton's email scandal with a resolve to get to the truth, even if President Obama should pardon Clinton before leaving office," King insisted. (Read more)

- Father God, we pray for the safekeeping of the life of Congressman Steve King and the members of the House Judiciary Committee. Let justice rule we ask, in Your name, amen.

- "For I, the LORD, love justice . . . " (Isaiah 61:8)

2. Clinton Foundation admits it didn't notify State Department of $1 million Qatar gift - Fox News

The Clinton Foundation has said it accepted a $1 million gift from the Qatari government without notifying the State Department that it had done so, an apparent violation of an ethics agreement Hillary Clinton signed when she became Secretary of State in 2009.

Under the terms of the agreement, Clinton promised the foundation would notify the State Department's ethics official if a new foreign government wished to donate or if a current foreign donor wished to "increase materially" its contributions.

Qatari officials pledged the money in 2011 to mark former President Bill Clinton's 65th birthday. (Read more)

- Father, we pray You would expose all links between donations to the Clinton Foundation and official State Department business. We pray for the men and women who know the truth, that they would have the courage to come forward and end all corruption by those in authority.

- "So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." (Matthew 10:26-27)

3. US-backed forces launch bid for Syrian IS capital Raqqa - Times of Israel

A US-backed alliance of Kurdish and Arab fighters said Sunday it had began a long-awaited operation to capture the Islamic State group's de facto Syrian capital Raqqa. "The major battle to liberate Raqqa and its surroundings has begun," Jihan Sheikh Ahmed, a spokeswoman for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said at a press conference in Ain Issa, some 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of the jihadist bastion.

The operation, dubbed "The Wrath of the Euphrates," comes as Iraqi forces backed by the US-led coalition press an assault to take the jihadist group's Iraqi stronghold of Mosul. Ahmed said the fight would involve some 30,000 fighters and had begun on Saturday night. (Read more)

- Lord of Hosts, we pray You would deliver the people of Iraq and Syria from evil, war and chaos. We pray for a great harvest of souls of those who turn to You in these times of trouble.

- "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

4. U.S. on alert over Al-Qaeda Election Day threat - Israel National News

Federal officials have warned authorities in New York City, Texas and Virginia about an unspecific threat of attacks by Al-Qaeda around Election Day, officials said on Friday, according to Reuters.

A U.S. government source in Washington said some federal agencies sent bulletins to local and state officials flagging the information but stressed that the threat was relatively low-level.

A U.S. official familiar with the threat information said that it was "uncorroborated," but that federal agencies believed that they needed nonetheless to remain vigilant. (Read more)

- Father, we pray for our law enforcement professionals. They are our watchmen, and unless You help them, they watch in vain. Give them supernatural wisdom and insight to keep our citizens safe.

- "Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain." (Psalm 127:1)

5. UK military intelligence issues warning over Russian supertank threat - The Telegraph UK

Brigadier Ben Barry, a land warfare specialist at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said two features on the Armata would threaten NATO forces.

"Firstly, it is the first tank designed with an unmanned turret. This will potentially improve crew survivability," he said. "The turret also looks to have the stretch potential to accommodate a larger-calibre gun of up to 150mm. If fielded, this would overmatch the guns and armour on existing NATO tanks.

"Secondly, it appears to be the first tank designed from the outset with an active protection system, to intercept incoming anti-tank guided missiles and shoulder-launched anti-tank weapons." He added: "This has the potential to greatly reduce the firepower of NATO infantry. Of course, there are few Armata yet, and it is not clear how rapidly they will enter service. But as they do, they will increase the effectiveness of Russian armoured forces."(Read more)

- Father, Jesus told us we would hear of "wars and rumors of war". Help us be effective ambassadors of Your peace to this world. We pray these weapons would only serve Your purposes.

- "Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and brings out a weapon for its work; and I have created the destroyer to ruin. "No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me," declares the Lord." (Isaiah 54:16-17)

6. NATO puts 300,000 troops on 'HIGH ALERT' amid fears of all out confrontation with Russia - World News Report

Secretary General of Nato, Jens Stoltenberg, said the allied nations are putting hundreds of thousands of troops in a state of high alert in an effort to deter a mounting threat from Moscow. While NATO cut its defence budget and military investment since the fall of the Soviet Union, Russia has been bolstering its military capabilities, holding parades involving more than 100,000 troops each year.

Adam Thomson, the outgoing permanent representative to NATO, estimates that at present, it would take the military alliance 180 days to deploy a force of 300,000, and that speeding up this rate is of top importance.

The measures come in response to Russia flexing its military might abroad, allegedly conducting cyber attacks on Washington and holding nuclear war drills at home. (Read more)

- Father, we pray all sides would "stand down" both their actions and rhetoric. Help the nations of Europe and Russia live at peace with each other.

- "Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification." (Romans 14:19)

Voter fraud and stolen elections

There has been much circulating the Internet this year about voter fraud. There are videos that actually show voter machines changing votes from Republican to Democrat. There are also reports of dead people voting, illegals voting, and felons voting. Alas, the Progressives (translated communists) have progressed this country so well that stealing elections is one sure way to advance the cause. They have applied enough political pressure to do away with the paper ballot. Thus we have voter machines that electronically record and tally your votes. By early indications, votes are already being stolen, but the progressives laugh and roll their eyes about these charges, dismissing them as wild conspiracy theories.

Across the country there has been documentation where people have cast their votes early, but the voter machines keep counting for the Democratic candidate when the people have actually voted for the Republican. Elections officials say the machines are operating properly, but may need to be "re-calibrated." In other words, if a voter catches these machines malfunctioning, which apparently have been programed in favor of Democrats, they need to be reported and "re-calibrated." Question is: how many early votes were stolen before someone was observant enough to notice that the machine did not correctly record their vote? How do we know any machine correctly records the vote?

The fact is, we don't. In the days when we had paper ballots, even machines punching paper ballots, at least we knew that our vote was our vote. Of course, the Progressives used the "hanging chad" issue to switch things in their favor--to electronic voting machines. Now what happens if just one vote per precinct is stolen electronically? One vote per precinct would have elected Richard Nixon over John F Kennedy. The same with Al Gore over George W Bush. As it was, Gore won the popular vote and Bush won the electoral college. So voting machines could make more of a difference in this election than you might think. In the last presidential election, the Republican National Committee (RNC) thought it was a problem.

In 2012, the RNC wrote a letter to Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller pointing out how machines are not recording the correct vote. Miller called the claims "irresponsible and unfortunate" and defended the voting machines. Miller said the claims "undermine the public's confidence in the electoral process." DUH! Nothing has really changed. In 2012, I demanded a paper ballot in Maryland. They told me it was against the law. So be vigilant to make sure your vote is what you voted. Check that ballot before you finalize it. If there is a problem, call for help and stay there till it's fixed. It's time for us to start changing this progressive mess. Psalm 101:7 says, "He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight." It's time to say "Not in my house." Don't to give these deceivers the chance to sin against you.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

The Daily Jot: THE ELECTION

The Daily Jot: THE ELECTION

Monday, November 7, 2016

I'm sitting here in my office sipping on a cup of coffee and reflecting on this election. That is what prompted me to write you one last time before the election day Daily Jot. At 61 years of age, I cannot think of a time during my life where we as Americans have been faced with such choices during elections. It's downright sad. Under no circumstances would any honorable person seek the highest office in the land, let alone the most powerful in the world, carrying such corruption. Any honorable person would not have even attempted it. We have a candidate in this election that does not meet the smell test for any office. Is this what our nation has come to? And sadly, the answer is "yes" no matter the outcome.

No Matter The Outcome. Irrespective of what happens on Tuesday, the entire election season should serve as a warning to all Americans, especially those of us who call ourselves Christians. We Christians are responsible. Regardless of who wins Tuesday's election, we as the grafted in people of God, have a lot of work to do. You know, the sun will come up on Wednesday morning. People will go about their business as it has been for centuries. We will survive the decision of the majority. I have seen, even lived in places where there are dictatorships and repressive governments. People still survive. They have families. They find a way to make it. And they can smile and laugh some of the time. But we have work to do.
Churches need to hold the line on accountability. Those of us who are Christians need to lead by example. We need to lead. And it can't be some wacked out emotional, extra-biblical, self-indulgent type of leadership. We need to get back to the basics of the Bible and learn what God wants and expects from us. We Christians have presented so many types of Christ to the public that the public thinks we're nuts. And while everyone has their opinion, probably we all need to just get back to the scriptures and figure out who we are-not based on what some preacher is saying from what he learned from some other guy-but what the word actually says about the doctrines we are being taught. And if they don't align with the scriptures, we need to cleanse the pulpit from these nice, but wrong-minded people.
You see, one candidate is going to slow down the communist takeover of this nation. The other is going to speed it up. One of the foundational principles of communism is replacing God with government. That could never be done if the "Church" was healthy and strong. So it starts with us, no matter what happens Tuesday. 1 Peter 4:17 says, "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" Either outcome, we will survive, but this election will hit us the hardest. We have to become focused on the Lord, what He wants, and how He wants us to do it. We need to show sensible leadership. It starts with us.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!
