AGLOW International has released the following three prayer decrees over North Korea. We stand in agreement.
- WE DECREE that all further attempts to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles will malfunction and fail.

- WE DECREE that the response of the United States government and its allies will be measured but effective in order to discourage any further threats or warlike activity.

- WE DECREE that the effectual fervent prayers of righteous people worldwide shall prevail. (James 5:16)

Focus on Israel

1. Hezbollah Chieftain Nasrallah a 'Target' for Israel in 'Next War in Lebanon,' IDF General Says- Algemeiner

The head of Hezbollah, Iran's proxy Shia terrorist organization in Lebanon, will be a "target" for Israel in a future war on its northern border, an IDF General has stated in an interview with reporters in the southern port city of Eilat.

"Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah is an IDF target in the next war in Lebanon," Brig-Gen. Ronen Manelis declared on Sunday. "It is clear that if he dies, it will influence the [military] campaign."

Manelis said that Israel was actively seeking to avoid a conflict in Lebanon, disclosing that the IDF "makes daily efforts, both overt and covert, in an effort to push back the next war." Israel and Hezbollah have not gone to war since 2006.

Any renewed conflict would, however, play out differently more than ten years later, Manelis said. "The intelligence and operational capabilities of the IDF, the ability of movement and firepower, means that even if it is difficult in Israel - in Lebanon it will be much worse," he warned.

2. Hamas and Fatah delay Gaza handover- Israel National News

Hamas and Fatah agreed on Wednesday to postpone the handover of control over Gaza from Hamas to Fatah, AFP reported.

The announcement comes less than 48 hours before a deadline for Fatah to assume control of Gaza which was part of an Egyptian-brokered reconciliation deal signed last month.

The announcement came at the last minute as the landmark deal faltered dangerously, with Fatah and Hamas accusing each other of not respecting the accord.

"Hamas and Fatah are asking Egypt to postpone the transfer of the government roles from December 1 to December 10 in order to finalize arrangements to ensure the completion of national reconciliation steps," said a statement from Hamas.

3. Israel tells UN: PA signs deals with Hamas but not Israel- World Israel News

Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon addressed the UN General Assembly Wednesday as part of a special session marking 70 years since the adoption of UN Resolution 181, which passed the General Assembly on November 29th 1947. The session is used annually by Israel's adversaries in the UN to pass a series of biased resolutions.

Responding to the Palestinian-initiated session, Ambassador Danon said, "Today we mark the anniversary of the United Nations vote in 1947. For Israel it was a moment that turned an age-old dream of self-determination into a real-life miracle. For the Palestinians it resulted in a choice to turn towards violence and lasting hatred."

4. EU diplomats reportedly angry after Netanyahu 'invites self' to summit - Times of Israel

European leaders were caught by surprise last week when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced he would attend a summit of EU Foreign Ministers in December, with many accusing the Israeli leader of concocting a diplomatic stunt behind their backs, Channel 10 news reported Wednesday.

Angered EU diplomats have since acquiesced to the visit, but warn that Netanyahu will face tough questions, and promise that Palestinian leaders will get a similar invite, the TV report said.

5. New Dead Sea Scrolls Translation Could Reveal Mysteries of Biblical Caves, Christianity and Judaism-Newsweek

A new translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls, currently being crafted by American scholar Alison Schofield, aims to unveil new information about the ancient Biblical manuscripts discovered in the Qumran Caves near the Dead Sea.

"I was always a fan of Indiana Jones, and I was always interested in the Middle East," Schofield, a professor of religious and Judaic studies, told the University of Denver. "I've been interested in the Dead Sea Scrolls for as long as I can remember."

The Dead Sea Scrolls contain some of the oldest copies of the Bible and Jewish literature from the time of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, when the Jewish population rebelled against the Roman Empire and was brutally massacred by Roman forces fighting under the Emperor Titus. The manuscripts were first discovered in 1947, but new discoveries are being made as technology improves and archeologists continue to search 12 of the caves around the Dead Sea for fragments.

The Daily Brief

1. Acting CFPB Director Mick Mulvaney Holds Brilliant Press Conference - Conservative Treehouse

The CFPB was essentially created to work as a legal money laundering operation for progressive causes by fining financial institutions for conduct the CFPB finds in violation of their unilateral and arbitrary rules and regulations. The CFPB then use the proceeds from the fines to fund progressive organizations and causes. That's the underlying reason why the Democrats are fraught with anxiety right now.

Elizabeth Warren set up the bureau to operate above any oversight. Additionally, the bureau was placed under spending authority of the Federal Reserve. The CFPB gets its operating budget from the Federal Reserve, not from congress. Again, this was set-up to keep congress from defunding the agency as a way to remove it. Everything about the way the CFPB was structured was done to avoid any oversight. Hence, a DC circuit court finding the agency held too much power, and deemed the Directors unchecked position unconstitutional. Mick Mulvaney is now in a position to look at the books, look at the prior records within the bureau, and expose the political agenda within it to the larger public.

2. Court sides with Trump in dispute over CFPB leadership - Washington Examiner

A federal court sided with President Trump's administration Monday in a lawsuit over who leads the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly ruled against Leandra English in her quest to be named the acting director of the CFPB, refusing to issue a temporary restraining order that would allow her to assume control of the bureau. The White House said in a statement it "applauds the court's decision, which provides further support for the president's rightful authority to designate Director [Mick] Mulvaney as acting director of the CFPB. It's time for the Democrats to stop enabling this brazen political stunt by a rogue employee and allow Acting Director Mulvaney to continue the Bureau's smooth transition into an agency that truly serves to help consumers," the White House said.

3. Supreme Court Considers Patent Rights Case With Huge Implications - Washington Free Beacon

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments Monday morning in a case testing the legitimacy of a federal tribunal that has invalidated more than 19,000 patents during its brief existence. That case, Oil States v. Greene's Energy Group, concerns the constitutionality of a certain kind of review by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), an administrative law court established by the 2011 America Innovates Act. As the Free Beacon previously reported, the PTAB was set up to review and invalidate previously issued patents in the hopes of combatting "patent trolling."

In practice, the board's structure has led to a high rate of invalidation-between 64 and 98 percent, depending on the method of review, which over 19,000 claims invalidated, according to the Patent and Trademark Office (PTO)-which critics contend has harmed America's system of intellectual property.

4. Ajit Pai: Tech Giants Support Net Neutrality Regulation to 'Cement' Internet Dominance - Washington Free Beacon

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chairman Ajit Pai on Tuesday hit back at tech giants and celebrities who oppose his effort to rescind Obama administration net neutrality regulations. Pai made his comments at a Washington, D.C event on Tuesday held by the R Street Institute and the Lincoln Network about telecom and internet law, Recode reports. Pai said internet companies such as Twitter staunchly oppose rescinding the regulations because they want to exploit the regulatory environment.

"They might cloak their advocacy in the public interest, but the real interest of these internet giants is in using the regulatory process to cement their dominance in the internet economy," Pai said. The Obama-era regulations were first implemented in February of 2015, and the Trump administration voted to begin reversing the rules in May, the Washington Free Beacon reported. Pai said on Tuesday that companies are not to blame for wanting regulations favorable toward them, but said he did not want the FCC to show favoritism toward certain tech companies over others.

5. Trump shames Pelosi, Schumer with empty seats at meeting they boycotted - Fox News

President Trump called out Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for boycotting a White House meeting Tuesday afternoon, by leaving two seats conspicuously empty -- and accusing the no-show Democratic leaders of being "all talk" and "no action." "And now, it's even worse. Now it's not even talk. So they're not showing up for the meeting," Trump told reporters.

Trump spoke to the press after meeting with House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. But the president was sure to keep two seats empty on either side of him, along with nametags for Pelosi and Schumer. During the session with reporters, Trump said he was "not that surprised" the two top congressional Democrats did not show up for discussions on tax reform and efforts to avert a government shutdown. Schumer, D-N.Y., and Pelosi, D-Calif., had pulled out of their meeting after the president hinted any bipartisan deal would be thwarted by Democrats' desire to include immigration reform and tax increases.

6. Democrats Threaten to Shut Down the Government if No DACA Amnesty - Lifezette

The next deadline for Congress and the president to agree on budget terms and funding levels is December 8. Such a deadline usually means both parties negotiate new budget and borrowing terms. But this time, Democrats are hoping to force President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans to grant amnesty to certain illegal immigrants, or else face a damaging federal government shutdown that could hurt Republicans in the 2018 midterm elections a year from now. The White House is clearly irked at the Democratic maneuvering behind the scenes to force amnesty for young adults who were brought to the United States, illegally, as children.

"You know, we could do the same thing on immigration," Schumer told ABC News in 2013. "We believe strongly in immigration reform. We could say, 'We're shutting down the government, we're not gonna raise the debt ceiling, until you pass immigration reform.' It would be governmental chaos." Congressional Democrats are under heavy pressure from liberal groups to get a deal on DACA, and soon. There are almost 700,000 people in the United States now in DACA.

"In the past, Chuck Schumer has repeatedly made clear that he opposes government spending bills with strings attached," said Hogan Gidley, deputy press secretary for Trump, in an emailed statement to LifeZette. "We hope Democrats follow Sen. Schumer's lead and not hold government funding hostage to their own pet legislative projects, which would jeopardize our national security. Government spending bills should fully fund our military, homeland security, and all essential operations to protect the American people's prosperity and safety."

7. North Korea Unveils New ICBM Able To 'Reach All Of The US Mainland' - Daily Caller

North Korea tested the Hwasong-15 ICBM before dawn, North Korean state media revealed in a special noon announcement. The new missile is believed to have a range of more than 8,100 miles, far greater than that of the Hwasong-14 ICBM the North tested twice successfully in July. The new missile could theoretically strike anywhere in the continental U.S., whereas its predecessor could only strike parts of the U.S. mainland. The new numerical designation suggests that the North has made significant hardware changes, such as improved engine technology or additional stages. Kim Jong Un, who personally ordered Wednesday's test, "declared with pride" that North Korea has "finally realized the great historic cause of completing the state nuclear force." After pursuing advanced ballistic missile capabilities and nuclear weapons for decades, North Korea seems to have developed a missile that can deliver a nuclear payload to targets across the U.S.

1. Supreme Court shoots down gun cases, upholds ban on assault weapons and open-carry - Washington Times

The Supreme Court announced Monday it had declined to hear two Second Amendment cases, leaving intact gun control laws in Maryland that restrict the types of weapons that can be bought, and in Florida that largely prevent gun owners from carrying their weapons in the open. The justices denied both cases without comment, leaving in place lower-court rulings upholding the two laws.

Eric Friday, who represented gun owners in the Florida case, said he thought the court's Second Amendment supporters were making a strategic decision in refusing to hear the cases, keeping their powder dry for later, when they may have more support on the high court. "This fight for the Second Amendment is not a short-term fight, this is a long-term fight," Mr. Friday told The Washington Times. "We are not going to quit just because the Supreme Court didn't take two cases." The Florida case involved a challenge to the state's ban on open carry, which extends to even those licensed to carry a concealed weapon.

In the Maryland case, gun owners had challenged the state's ban on some semiautomatic rifles and large-capacity ammunition magazines. The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected those complaints, saying the Second Amendment doesn't protect military-style gear. "Put simply we have no power to extend Second Amendment protection to the weapons of war," wrote Circuit Judge Robert B. King in the opinion. (Read more)

2. Clarence Thomas fires away at justices for 'giving Congress the power to destroy the states' territorial integrity' - Washington Examiner

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas criticized the justices' decision on Monday not to take a case, saying they are "giving Congress the power to destroy the states' territorial integrity." The high court on Monday rejected Upstate Citizens for Equality, Inc. v. U.S. involving the Indian Commerce Clause and whether the Constitution gives Congress the authority to infringe, reduce or diminish the territorial integrity of individual states without first getting the states' consent.

Petitioners from upstate New York disputed the federal government's 2008 decision to turn over 13,000 acres of land to the Oneida Nation of New York, descendants of an Iroquois nation. The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals concluded that the Indian Commerce Clause gave the federal government the power to do so and the Supreme Court declined to review this decision.

Thomas criticized the federal appeals court's decision as meaning, "Congress could reduce a State to near nonexistence by taking all land within its borders and declaring it sovereign Indian territory. When our precedents permit such an absurd result, something has gone seriously awry. It is time to fix our error. We should have granted certiorari to reexamine our Indian Commerce Clause precedents, instead of standing idly by as Congress, the Executive, and the lower courts stray further and further from the Constitution." Cases of Sexual Abuse Surface in the Media

Editor's note:

For years, many of us have been interceding that the seven mountains of our culture would be cleansed of the ways of the world and would be used instead, by His hand, to bring in the Kingdom of God.
And now, after years of crying out with impassioned supplications, day and night, we see the Hand of God sweeping across the land. . .

The first mountain to be judged has been Hollywood.

Next, several political figures have come under fire for alleged cases of sexual abuse.

And now this week, it's the media's turn.
As these mountains (and others) continue to fall before the judgment of God, we offer this prayer:

- Father, we pray for continued exposure of those who have used power and status to abuse others. We ask You to reveal all hidden things and humiliate those responsible (cause the proud to fall). We ask that each one come to repentance, to find new life and salvation through the Blood of our Savior, amen.

- "Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18)

1. Media Enablers Protected Democratic Predators For Years - IBD Scandals: It's bad enough that lawmakers created a taxpayer-financed protection scheme that let them sexually harass their employees. The fact that the mainstream press has apparently been contributing to this cover up is even worse. On ABC News' "This Week", veteran journalist Cokie Roberts made a rather revealing admission in the wake of accusations from women that far-left Rep. John Conyers had assaulted them. "Every female in the press corps knew that, right, don't get in elevator with him," she said, apparently referring to Conyers. "Now people are saying it out loud." She added that "we all talked about (it) for years." The Daily Wire recently compiled a list of 24 sex scandals involving Democrats that CNN has ignored this year alone. Roberts' admission makes it clear that the problem isn't just that Congress circled the wagons, but that the press was willing to lend a hand to protect their fellow "progressives." (Read more)

NPR Chief News Editor Departs After Harassment Allegations - NPR NPR Chief News Editor David Sweeney has left the company following allegations of sexual harassment filed against him by at least three female journalists. The complaints against Sweeney were filed after Michael Oreskes, NPR's senior vice president of news and editorial director, was forced to resign on Nov. 1 over sexual misconduct allegations. In the aftermath of the Oreskes revelations, NPR leadership has encouraged people who were subject to inappropriate behavior to come forward and is working to make the process of reporting harassment more transparent. It has also sought to strengthen protections for accusers. (Read more)

3. Report: Lauer Sexually Assaulted Staffer At The Olympics - Daily Caller After NBC fired "Today" anchor Matt Lauer for alleged sexual misconduct, some reporters are saying there is much more to the story. According to a report by Page Six, Lauer may have sexually assaulted an employee while at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. An NBC source told Page Six that the employee in question complained on Monday, stating, "This happened so quickly. She didn't go to the media, she made a complaint to NBC's human resources, and her evidence was so compelling that Matt was fired on Tuesday night. The victim says she has evidence that this has also happened to other women, but so far we don't have evidence of that." Ramin Setoodeh, a writer for Variety, said that he knew of "multiple victims." Yashar Ali declined to share more details about the allegations but tweeted on Wednesday that Lauer is "one of the worst he has seen." Ali claimed that multiple women have come forward privately about Lauer, but were "terrified" of doing so publicly because of the power Lauer had in media. "Matt Lauer put the fear of god into these women," Ali wrote. "He had relationships with reporters outside NBC that he cultivated just for this purpose. They knew that." Ali further called Lauer's "manipulation" of women "evil, frightening stuff." (Read more)
