Speaking at a joint press conference in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron, Netanyahu said, "I am not used to receiving lectures about morality from the leader who bombs Kurdish villagers in his native Turkey, who jails journalists, who helps Iran go around international sanctions and who helps terrorists, including in Gaza, kill innocent people. In Paris I will meet with my friend, French President Emmanuel Macron. I will then hold an important meeting in Brussels with European foreign ministers," Netanyahu told reporters upon his departure.

Hundreds of protesters gathered in central Paris on Saturday to denounce Netanyahu's visit following U.S. President Donald Trump's speech last week recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

4. WATCH: Muslims at London Anti-Israel Protest Celebrate Massacre of Jews - United with Israel

At the anti-Israel protest outside the US Embassy in London protesting US President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Muslims chanted the following call for war against Jews: 'Oh, Jews remember Khaybar, the armies of Muhammad are returning.'

This death chant references an episode during which an Islamic army attacked the Jewish community of Khaybar killing nearly 100, subjugating the survivors and then expelling them.

5. 250 Israeli Rabbis to Trump: 'You are Fulfilling Biblical Prophecies - United With Israel

Some 250 Israeli rabbis, including Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, sent a letter to President Donald Trump thanking him and praising him for his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The letter, initiated by the Safed's Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu and delivered by Yossi Dagan, the head of the Samaria Regional Council, told the American president, "You have the rare privilege to be the first president to recognize Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the State of Israel," Ynet news reported.

"We are confident that you will be remembered in the history of the Jewish people forever as one who stood at the fore and was not afraid. 1a. Trump Seizes On Roy Moore Accuser's Admission Of Adding To Yearbook Inscription - NPR

Speaking at a campaign rally Friday night in Florida - but about 20 miles from the Alabama state line - President Trump seized upon news that one of GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore's accusers had added to a yearbook inscription which she has offered in support of her allegations that Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager decades ago.

"So did you see what happened today? You know the yearbook?" Trump asked attendees in Pensacola, Fla. "There was a little mistake made."

"Anytime you see [Gloria Allred], you know something is going wrong," the president said about the celebrity attorney representing Beverly Young Nelson.

"We can't afford to have a liberal Democrat who is completely controlled by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer," Trump said, claiming that Democratic nominee Doug Jones would be "their puppet."

"We want jobs, jobs, jobs, so get out and vote for Roy Moore," the president continued, before returning to his refrains about the economy and foreign policy and to reliving his 2016 victory. (Read more)

- Lord, thank You for President Trump seizing the opportunity to bring out the lie against Roy Moore, to those who attended this campaign rally in Florida. Nothing is ever hidden from You, our Lord and Saviour. Our prayer is that the voters in the Alabama election on Tuesday will be lead by the Holy Spirit to vote according to Your will. In Your Name, dear Lord, amen.

- "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." (Romans 13:1)

1b. Roy Moore's Accuser Admits Lying . . . Her Credibility in Tatters - Education News

(Comments from Donna Garner)

The only piece of physical evidence against Roy Moore by his accusers is Beverly Young Nelson's yearbook supposedly signed by him. Now today we learn that Nelson lied, having added various written statements herself to the yearbook. Nelson and her leftist lawyer, Gloria Allred, also did not bother to tell the public that Roy Moore, who went on to become a judge and then the chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, had ruled AGAINST Beverly Nelson in a 1999 divorce case. That fact alone could certainly have provided the motive for Nelson's vengeful vendetta against Moore.

Allred chose to defy Moore's attorney who on 11.16.17 (three weeks ago) demanded that the normal legal precedent be followed of turning the yearbook over to a third-party expert within 48 hours. This person would then make sure the yearbook was preserved through a proper chain of command in its original form without spoliation until an expert forensic document examiner could make a determination. This website takes every allegation made by Roy Moore's accusers and debunks them. (Read more)

- Father God, thank You for revealing the lies told by Beverly Young Nelson, one of Judge Moore's accusers. Lead voters to vote as You would have them to. Let Your Holy Spirit lead the voters as You will. Thank You.

- "But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment." (James 5:12)

2. Alabama Senate race too close to call - Washington Times

A U.S. Senate campaign that was thrust into the national spotlight by allegations of sexual misconduct by one of the candidates is near the finish line. Here is a look at the race between Republican nominee Roy Moore, who spent the final month of the campaign denying allegations of long-ago misconduct involving teenage girls, and Doug Jones, who is seeking to break the GOP's grip on Alabama and pick up a seat in the Senate for Democrats: THE POLLS SAY . . .The race is too close to call.

Moore easily defeated Republican Senate appointee Luther Strange in a September runoff election after leading the 10-person field in the primary, and he was on track to win until allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced. Now the race is a tossup. Polls show Moore and Jones have seesawed for the lead in the final weeks of the campaign, with some showing Moore ahead and others showing Jones in the lead. The race will be decided by which candidate does a better job getting his supporters to actually vote. (Read more)

- Father, You know that Judge Roy Moore has stood for the Ten Commandments to remain in his courtroom among much opposition. He has denied allegations of sexual misconduct with two women. You, oh God, are the Great Judge. Let all things be brought forth that truth may rise. Deal with the lies as You will. We ask that Roy Moore will win the election on Tuesday.

- "And you shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free." (John 8:32)

3. Trump pays tribute to civil-rights heroes in Mississippi as black leaders boycott his visit - Washington Times

With some black leaders boycotting the event, President Trump paid tribute Saturday to the heroes of the civil rights movement at the dedication of two museums in Mississippi. Speaking to a small invitation-only group of dignitaries indoors at the new civil-rights museum in Jackson, Mr. Trump called the facility honoring leaders of the movement "a tribute to our nation at the highest level."

"Today we pay solemn tribute to our heroes of the past and dedicate ourselves to building a future of freedom, equality, justice and peace," Mr. Trump said. The president, who was invited by Republican Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, didn't take part in a public ceremony outdoors. The long list of speakers at the larger event was missing Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia, a civil-rights icon who skipped the ceremony in protest of the president's visit, calling it a "mockery" of black leaders' efforts. NAACP President Derrick Johnson called Mr. Trump's appearance "a distraction," and other black leaders also stayed away from the grand opening in protest. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord, for our President who paid tribute to the heroes of the civil right movement at two museums in Mississippi. He honored those heroes with dignity amidst some who were rude and disrespectful to those being honored as well as the President of the United States.. President Trump is a gentlemen that leads our nation by taking the high road as lead by Your Holy Spirit. Oh, that others would learn respect for all people. Praise be to God.

- "Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king." (1 Peter 2:17)

4. Trump signs stopgap spending bill to keep government open - Washington Times

President Trump on Friday signed the stopgap spending bill to to keep the government running until Dec. 22, said the White House, providing lawmakers breathing room to pass tax cuts and smooth out budget snags. Congress passed the legislation late Thursday to avoid a government shutdown Saturday.

Mr. Trump and the Republican-run Congress still have some issues to resolve before passing a long-term spending bill before the next shutdown deadline. Topping the list is resolving a standoff with Democrats over the fate of "Dreamers," illegal immigrants brought to the U.S. as children who were given a temporary reprieve by the Obama administration but who could be deported beginning in March. Mr. Trump has insisted that granting legal status to the Dreamers would have to come with funding for a border wall and other immigration enforcement measures. Before settling that dispute, however, GOP lawmakers are hurrying to finish a major tax cut bill that is the centerpiece of Mr. Trump's economic agenda and the last chance to score a legislative victory before the end of the year. (Read more)

- Thank You, Lord, for this act of mercy shown to Congress by our President. We ask Your wisdom now to rest upon these members, so that the funding needed will be approved in time. In Your name, amen.

- "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5)

5. Mueller spent nearly $7 million in four months on Trump-Russia probe - Washington Times

Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election has cost $6.7 million during the first four and a half months of the probe, including $1.7 million on salaries and benefits for employees, according to the first report issued on the costs.

In addition to Mr. Mueller, the special counsel team includes 17 attorneys. Mr. Mueller and five of his attorneys were hired from outside the government while the remainder are on detail to the team from the Justice Department. The costs associated with bringing on outside employees tops $500,000 while the salary for those already employed by the federal government totaled $1.2 million. The special counsel's office has declined to provide details on how many other people have been detailed from various agencies or divisions of the Justice Department to work on the team. (Read more)

- Father, we pray this investigation into Russian meddling will come to a close. Bring all the details forth so this investigation will end.

6. Team Obama attempted 'stealth coup' by undermining Trump - Washington Times

From the moment Donald Trump secured the Republican nomination and then the presidency, national security officials under President Obama have shown themselves to be intense adversaries in public and behind the scenes. In the latest development, special counsel Robert Mueller's top-gun prosecutor, Andrew Weissmann, praised acting Attorney General Sally Yates, a Trump nemesis, for refusing a White House order to defend the president's travel ban on Muslim-majority countries, according to internal emails. Mr. Weissmann, who as a private lawyer donated to Mr. Obama and to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, another Democrat, now is Mr. Mueller's right-hand man. He oversaw the investigation of former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, including a pre-dawn FBI raid on his condo and an in-bed frisking of his wife.

The anti-Trump moves by Obama aides began in July 2016 during his campaign for the presidency. Then-FBI Director James B. Comey began a criminal investigation of the Trump campaign, in whole or part, based on a dossier financed by the Democratic Party with an aim to destroy the Republican candidate. Its salacious and sometimes far-fetched scenarios of Russia-Trump collusion on the Russian hack of Democratic Party computers have not been confirmed publicly. John O. Brennan, Mr. Obama's CIA director and former campaign adviser, pushed the investigation during the campaign. He supplied Mr. Comey with the names of Russians with whom Trump associates had made any type of contact.

Mr. Brennan testified to Congress that he provided the list of referrals without knowing what was discussed. James R. Clapper, Mr. Obama's director of national intelligence, has suggested that Mr. Trump is on the way out and calls him unfit for office. Conservatives suspect all this has happened as Obama administration holdovers and former aides were working to sabotage the Trump administration. (Read more)

7. TRUMP BREAKS CNN: Network Admits President Is 'Keeper Of Promises' - Daily Wire

President Donald Trump earned a rare moment of praise from CNN on Thursday for following through on his campaign promises - a rarity among politicians in Washington, D.C. CNN, who gave Trump 93% negative coverage during the beginning months of his presidency, argued that Trump's "unbreakable bond" with those who voted for him comes from the fact that he worked hard to deliver on his promises.

"Once again, President Trump has demonstrated the kind of leadership that Washington does not recognize or understand," Executive Director for Donald J. Trump for President, Michael Glassner said. "With Donald Trump a promise made is a promise kept." (Read more)

- Father, it is a glorious day when we see more truth coming to light from the fake news and an anti-Trump network. President Trump is a man of his word and he keeps his promises. "We the people...." are very thankful for a president that leads in ways unfamiliar to politicians in Washington, D.C. His honesty is surprising to them. Let the unfamiliar become familiar to everyone that doesn't know You as Saviour. May hearts be opened to accepting You in this very special time of the year. Praise You, Jesus. We love and honor You.

- "So Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good!" For he said, "At least there will be peace and truth in my days." (Isaiah 39:8)

8. Trump Highlights Sanctuary Cities In Weekly Address - Daily Caller

President Donald Trump used his weekly address Saturday to highlight his desire to get rid of sanctuary cities. "In sanctuary states and cities, innocent Americans are at the mercy of criminal aliens because state and local officials defy federal authorities and obstruct the enforcement of our immigration laws," Trump added.

A bill introduced by House Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley Tuesday would prohibit localities that refuse to comply with immigration detainers from receiving certain grants. "No American should be separated from their loved ones because of preventable crime committed by those illegally in our country. Our cities should be sanctuaries for Americans - not for criminal aliens," Trump said in his address. "Unfortunately, Democrats in Congress not only oppose our efforts to stop illegal immigration and crack down on sanctuary cities - now they are demanding amnesty as a condition for funding the government, holding troop funding hostage and putting our national security at risk. We cannot allow it." (Read more)

- Father, thank You for this common sense statement of that which should be obvious. We pray that cities and states would find that circumstances are leading them to start enforcing the laws that are on the books and that they will have the compassion needed to protect their own citizens instead of those who have already broken the law. We pray that those who are concerned about the plight of illegal immigrants would seek You about how to bring them into the blessings of God through salvation and discipleship.

- "The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you." (Numbers 15:16)

9. BIG LIST of GOP lawmakers who want to save Obama's amnesty - WND

A group of 34 House Republicans are pressuring Speaker Paul Ryan to give a Christmas present to the roughly 800,000 young people who entered the country illegally and were granted special status by former President Obama's DACA program. DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a policy enacted in 2012 by a stroke of Obama's pen. At the time, most Republicans derided the policy as unconstitutional while Democrats championed it as the right thing to do for children brought to the United States illegally by a parent "through no fault of their own."

Now, 34 GOP House members have come out of the shadows and seen the light of Obama's policy, and they want it codified by Christmas, according to a letter they sent to Ryan on Dec. 5. But there's a movement afoot to call the 34 to account. Americans for Legal Immigration, or ALIPAC, is targeting the pro-amnesty Republicans for primary challengers in 2018. While the group of 34 wants amnesty in place to guarantee a merry Christmas for 800,000 illegals, ALIPAC leader William Gheen says he has been making a list and checking it twice. ALIPAC's list has been dubbed "Kate's List," in honor of Kate Steinle, the 32-year-old woman with a bright future whose life was cut short by a bullet fired by an illegal Mexican migrant who had been convicted of seven previous felonies and deported five times. Check out the full Kate's List. (Read more)

- Father,we see a perversion of the law and a perversion of Your command to be charitable to others. Lord, set the priorities right within this group and show them how You desire to minister justice as well as charity. We pray for unity within the Republican party to fight those things that are illegal and to minister to the needs of those who came here illegally with parents. Lord, we know true love and charity flows out of an individual's life filled with You and not from a government bureau where Your words of life are forbidden. Dear Lord, we pray for salvations among them all.

- "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience and of faith unfeigned." (1 Timothy 1:5)

10. U.S., Foreign Leaders Warn of Terror Groups Converging With Organized Crime in Latin America - Washington Free Beacon

The merging of Iranian-backed terrorist groups with transnational criminal organizations in Latin America has become a mounting national security threat to the United States, according to several U.S. and foreign officials. South America's tri-border region, where Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay converge, is of particular concern given the longstanding presence of Hezbollah militants, who operate as money launderers for drug cartels. The collaboration generates tens of millions of dollars for the Iranian terror proxy with a cut set aside for drug lords.

The 10th Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum brought together Trump administration officials, U.S. lawmakers, and 150 foreign delegates from over 50 countries on Thursday to discuss joint efforts to combat global terrorist financing. Rep. Robert Pittenger (R., N.C.), chairman of the congressional task force on terrorism and unconventional warfare, who organized the event, warned of an uptick in Hezbollah's activities in the tri-border area and said he fears the Islamic State or affiliated groups will establish funding channels in the region. Pittenger in November met with South American government officials in Buenos Aires to discuss greater collaboration between the United States and its regional partners to thwart terrorist financing operations. (Read more)

- Father, this is a huge and rather hidden threat to our nation. We ask that the media would begin to cover this news, so that the work of Rep. Pittenger and his Committee would not go unnoticed. In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pick up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and we sever asunder the cords of the wicked. By the power of Your Shed Blood, Abba, we render these terror groups powerless as they try to work with organized crime in Latin America.

- "The Lord is righteous; He has cut in pieces the cords of the wicked."
(Psalm 129:4)

11. Trump, Mattis turn military loose on ISIS, leaving terror caliphate in tatters - Fox News

BAGHDAD - Hundreds of ISIS fighters had just been chased out of a northern Syrian city and were fleeing through the desert in long convoys, presenting an easy target to U.S. A-10 "warthogs."

But the orders to bomb the black-clad jihadists never came, and the terrorists melted into their caliphate -- living to fight another day. The events came in August 2016, even as then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was vowing on the campaign trail to let generals in his administration crush the organization that, under President Obama, had grown from the "jayvee team" to the world's most feared terrorist organization. 3. Turkey's Erdogan seeks to lead Islamic response on Jerusalem - Times of Israel

STANBUL, Turkey (AFP) - Turkey's leader is seeking to spearhead Islamic reaction to the US declaration on Jerusalem, but it is uncertain if he can coordinate a meaningful response among often disunited Muslim nations.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who regards himself as a champion of the Palestinian cause, had fulminated against President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital even before it was officially announced this week.

Erdogan described the status of the city, whose eastern sector Palestinians see as the capital of their future state, as a "red line" for Muslims.

With Trump disregarding such warnings, the Turkish president used his position as the current chairman of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to call a summit of the pan-Islamic group. (Read more)

At an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Friday, the US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said President Donald Trump knew his decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital would raise "questions and concerns," but that he took it to advance peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

"I understand the concerns that members have in calling this session," Haley said. "Change is hard." Washington's move left it isolated as one after another fellow UN Security Council members - Russia, France, the UK, China, Egypt, Jordan and a host of others - condemned the announcement.

The debate unfolded at a largely symbolic emergency meeting of the council - no vote on a resolution was planned, as the US has veto power - two days after Trump reversed two decades of US policy on the holy city. (Read more)

10. Czech President blasts EU over Jerusalem stance - Israel National News

Czech President Milos Zeman on Saturday accused EU states of being "cowards" in their response to his U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

"The European Union, cowards, are doing all they can so a pro-Palestinian terrorist movement can have supremacy over a pro-Israeli movement," said Zeman, according to AFP. The 73-year-old Zeman, targeting a second term from January and who had Friday said he was happy at Trump's controversial move, made Saturday's comment before delegates attending the congress of the far right Freedom and Direct Democracy party, which opposes immigration and the EU. Zeman added that he had himself spoke in favor of Prague moving the Czech embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv on a visit four years ago.

Following Trump's announcement, the Czech foreign ministry said it saw Jerusalem as the future capital both of Israel and a future Palestinian state and that Prague could only consider moving its embassy after consulting regional partners. (Read more)

Prayers for this week's News

Part One: Giving Thanks for President Trump's Decree

Praise God! Pray that this is only the beginning and that many more nations will make the same decision to boldly stand with Israel and move their embassies to Jerusalem. Give thanks for President Trump's faith in the Jewish land and people and his willingness to face international criticism.

- "For on My holy mountain, on the mountain height of Israel, says the Lord GOD, there all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, shall serve Me; there I will accept them, and there I will require your offerings and the firstfruits of your sacrifices, together with all your holy things." (Ezekiel 20:40 )

Part Two: Standing Against all Retaliation

Father, we thank You that You are our Shield and our Refuge; and that Your Word states that You will protect Your people, Israel. We agree that, when the enemy rises up against Israel or America due to this new decree, as we bow in repentance, You will fight our enemies on our behalf. We ask that You confuse the ranks of our enemies, In Your name, amen.

Testing the Religion of Peace

After the 911 attacks, President George W. Bush mounted a massive public relations campaign to assure Americans that Islam was a peaceful religion and that there are more ways to heaven than just one. Tolerance has been preached to the detriment of sound reason. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intention to move the US embassy there has riled the leaders of the "Religion of Peace" beyond pale. There have been calls for days of rage. There are riots. There are missiles being fired on Israeli citizens-all because of Trump recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital. A listing of reactions from Islamists truly does reveal the heart of Islam-the not-so religion of peace.

Ismail Haniyah of the Hamas government in Gaza said, "Our position remains as it is, Palestine from the sea to the Jordan river. We will not agree to two states and not to the division of Jerusalem. I hereby call for terrorism and armed struggle." Saab Erekat, Chief Negotiator for the Palestinian Authority (to which the US has given billions of tax dollars), said, "Now is the time to transform the struggle to one of one state with equal rights for everyone living in historic Palestine, from the river to the sea." Hassan Rouhani, the so-called "moderate" President of Iran said, "We call on Muslim peoples to enter into a big uprising against the plot of transferring the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem." These reactions are consistent across the gambit of Islamic leaders. They are calling for violence to rid the entire area of the Jewish people. This is the peace of Islam.

Need more proof? Here are a few verses from the Koran. They are not taken out of context: Sura 9:5 "...slay the infidels wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush." Sura 8:12 says, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." Sura 4:55 says, "Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise." These are just three of many verses used to justify killing Christians and Jews.

The simple announcement of moving an embassy and recognizing a nation's capital has caused renewed bloodlust within the so-called "Religion of Peace." It is the excuse its leaders needed to justify more violence and death. Trump's announcement just exposed this Middle East peace charade for what it is-the peace of Islam is complete submission to Islamic rule and ultimately the death of Jews and Christians. Their goal is one state, one religion, one law-Islam and Sharia Law. That is the only peace of Islam. Psalm 122:6 says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you." The peace of Jerusalem is a decidedly different peace than the peace of Islam.

Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

Classic Hymns

ANGELS WE HAVE HEARD ON HIGH

"A great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men, on whom His favor rests.'" (Luke 2:13-14)

Lyrics

Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o'er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.

Refrain

Gloria, in excelsis Deo!
Gloria, in excelsis Deo!

Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
What the gladsome tidings be
Which inspire your heavenly song?

Refrain

Come to Bethlehem and see
Christ Whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee,
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.

Refrain

See Him in a manger laid,
Whom the choirs of angels praise;
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
While our hearts in love we raise.

Refrain

Signs and Wonders

Experts scramble to keep an eye on long-dormant volcano in Iceland

At the summit of one of Iceland's most dangerous volcanoes, a 72-foot (22-meter) depression in the snow is the only visible sign of an alarming development.

The Oraefajokull (err-IVER'-yer-kuhl) volcano, dormant since its last eruption in 1727-1728, has seen a recent increase in seismic activity and geothermal water leakage that has worried scientists. With the snow hole on Iceland's highest peak deepening 18 inches (45 centimeters) each day, authorities have raised the volcano's alert safety code to yellow.

Experts at Iceland's Meteorological Office have detected 160 earthquakes in the region in the past week alone as they step up their monitoring of the volcano. The earthquakes are mostly small but their sheer number is exceptionally high.

"Oraefajokull is one of the most dangerous volcanos in Iceland. It's a volcano for which we need to be very careful," said Sara Barsotti, Coordinator for Volcanic Hazards at the Icelandic Meteorological Office.

What worries scientists the most is the devastating potential impact of an eruption at Oraefajokull. (AP) Read more.

The Miracle That Happened after Coach Prayed for This Collapsed Basketball Player

(Raleigh, NC) - [CBN News] It was three minutes into the South Carolina State versus North Carolina State basketball game Saturday, but the crowd of a few thousand was unusually silent. Tyvoris "Ty" Solomon, a senior starting guard for South Carolina State, had stopped breathing while sitting on the bench and collapsed to the ground. The team's athletic trainer, Tyler Long, immediately started CPR.

Murray Garvin, South Carolina State's fifth-year head coach, did the only thing he knew to do. He dropped to his knees and prayed. The rest of the team and the arena followed.

"I asked God . . . I begged God, not Ty, not now," Murray told CBN News. Murray said, in that moment, he did not know what else to do.

"It was one of the scariest moments as a coach and as a human being," he said. "As a head coach, you feel a responsibility of taking care of your guys no matter what." "The only thing I knew to do was to pray," he added.

Solomon was resuscitated and then transported to Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina where he is still recovering. (Breaking Christian News/CBN) Read more.

About CHPP

About Capitol Hill Prayer Partners

Our Mission Statement

Capitol Hill Prayer Partners (CHPP) is a ministry which is positioned on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., helping members of the Body of Christ to "pray for those in authority over us" in our federal government. Our primary purpose is to offer intercession on site for the members of Congress and their staffs each day that the Senate and the House of Representatives are in session; and our chief prayer focus is that "God's will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10].

Because Jesus Christ has shed His blood for all, we, too, pray for ALL, in a nonpartisan manner. Also, because the scriptures indicate that "the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 4:17), we are confident that fervent prayer, offered in the halls of the highest chambers of government in our land, can avail much for America. Capitol Hill Prayer Partners welcomes those who feel called to join us, engaging in this strategic work of intercession for our nation: "For there is no power but of God; the powers that be are ordained of God." [Romans 13:1]
Friends may participate by receiving our daily prayer alerts. You may contact us at chpp1994@gmail.com for more information. CHPP is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry. Thank you and God bless you!
